My Sandisk Ultra II 4GB
Review of Sandisk Ultra II SDHC Secure Digital 4096 MB by Ikillrocknroll

Advantages: Fast, Cheap
Disadvantages: Lack of backwards compatability

...I bought the Sandisk Ultra II 4GB card after purchasing my new 14.6mp camera, which produces RAW files of around 12-14mb! I clearly needed an upgrade because my older 2GB SD cards could only store 70 photos. I wanted a card that would combine speed, capacity, and value for money - and so I landed at the Class 4 Sandisk SDHC Ultra II 4GB card. I've had experience with Sandisk before, and wanted to stick with them especially after I found out that this card has a lifetime limited warranty, and has been tested to be compatible with a large range of high-end digital cameras. The Sandisk Ultra II SDHC 4GB card (Which I will now refer to as "The card" to save any confusion), has read speeds of 10mb/sec, and write speeds of 9mb/sec, producing an excellent performance on my camera. Previously when I used my older 2GB card, I didnt have a USB... Read review

Great performer.
Review of Sandisk Secure Digit SD 512 Ultra II 512 MB by johnsto

Advantages: Fast, durable
Disadvantages: It's red.

...clean. And, it does what it's meant to do. Not bad for a little piece of some plastic and metal. (The Sandisk Ultra II series is designed to be the fastest SD card in the Sandisk line, but with the standard Sandisk quality and recognition. The 1GB, 2GB and 256MB models 'should' perform just like this one.)... Read review

Sandisk ultra super duper!
Review of Sandisk Compact Flash CF 512 Ultra II 512 MB by Rachaellmackenzie

Advantages: Faster than the standard card
Disadvantages: More expensive than the standard card!

...I have decided that all my memory cards for my digital cameras are going to be Sandisk from now on!!! If I am right, Sandisk were the first ones to ever introduce Compact flash cards onto the market... way back when....... Compact flash cards are widely used, not just for cameras etc but they can be used for memory for so many other items of hardware. When I bought my first digital camera many moons ago I used to go for whatever was available at the time and probably the cheapest that was available but after using the Sandisk Ultra cards I changed my mind about that! However I would most definitely stick with compact flash cards! The deciding factor on my most recent camera was the fact that it used compact flash cards as its memory. I find that the compact flash cards are useful for a few reasons: The size makes it hard... Read review

A great product for a quicker picture.
Review of Sandisk Secure Digital SD 1GB 1024 MB by David_Scutt

Advantages: One of the faster cards avaliable to day.
Disadvantages: Not as fast as the slightly more expensive Ultra II

...I have purchased, two SD Cards from SanDisk, one was exactly pictured above, and the other was the faster SanDisk Ultra II brother. Here I will compare the two. ---Use with a Camera ---- One of the most annoying things about digital cameras is the fact that you press the button to take the photo, and the photo is taken approximately 1 second after you have pressed the button. Sometimes you forget about the delay and you end up with smudged photos, or photos of your feet. You also get a delay after the photo has been taken. I have a Nikon and a Kodak LS443, and both suffer from this problem. I was told that the problem was due to the processing the camera has to do, and the amount of "Write Time" it took for the camera to write the picture to the memory. To speed things up, I decided to purchase the SanDisk Ultra II card, why... Read review

Clickity Click, it's that quick!
Review of Sandisk Compact Flash Ultra II 2048 MB by vk-dream

Advantages: Cheap and Cheerful
Disadvantages: Time delay as card fills up

.... The larger the space on the card the more money it was going to cost which is typical with pretty much everything in this world. You can have an Ultra card, and extreme card, a multi-use a special edition and even a plus card – the choice for just one brand was mind blowing enough without exploring any further. As I was only a beginner I only wanted a small memory card and was only looking for 1 or 2 GB. Finally I came across the SanDisk ultra II 1.0GB and was really quite impressed with what I was reading. “When the shooting turns fast and furious, serious photographers turn to SanDisk Ultra II CompactFlash. So fast, you’re always ready for the next shot. So rugged, environmental conditions are never a problem. So well built that it’s backed by SanDisk’s lifetime limited warranty. When every shot counts, choose SanDisk Ultra II Compact... Read review

Sandisk 8GB micro SD card
Review of Sandisk Micro-SDHC Secure Digital 8192 MB by yassarikhan786

Advantages: Large memory capacity, durable for its size, very reliable
Disadvantages: None really apart from it being quite small

...The Sandisk Micro-SDHC Secure Digital 8192 MB (8 GB) memory card is known as an SD micro card, basically because SD memory cards are the smallest you can currently purchase. It measures in at 15mm x 11mm and comes with an adapter when you purchase the card. The Micro SD card format is used mainly for mobile phones, because of the sheer size and the cards ability to hold huge amounts of data. Although, mainly built for mobile phone use, SD micro cards like the Sandisk Micro SD 8 GB can be used in devices such as hand-held GPS devices, portable audio players, video game consoles and numerous other devices. With the 8 GB of storage space, you can hold thousands of songs (approximately 2000), thousands of photos as well as hundreds of videos and other files. When you purchase the 8GB SD micro memory card you get an adapter with it, which... Read review

A cunning storage device
Review of Sandisk SDSDPH-2048 Ultra II Secure Digital 2048 MB by JeffFromPoole

Advantages: Convenient, reliable
Disadvantages: A bit small for absent minded people, need to shop around for a good deal

...These are rather good little memory cards. They fit into PDAs, Cameras, and normal card readers, they are about the size of a postage stamp and can store up to 2 Gigabytes of pictures, documents, movies or any other type of digital file, USB plug, meaning that you can plug them into a PC without the need for card readers. Imagine, you take the card out of your camera, hinge back the top of the card and insert it into a free USB port. 2 seconds later you are browsing through all your pictures, reliving those memories and deleting the blurred / embarrassing / illegal / or downright horrible ones. The first time I saw one of these with the built in USB plug the seller was asking £95 for a 1 gigabyte card. Now, like many other technology products, a bit of shopping around will get you one of these for less than £20. Sandisk Ultra... Read review

SanDisk SecureDigital Ultra II 512 MB
Review of SanDisk SecureDigital Ultra II 512 MB by matt_fantastic

Advantages: Fast
Disadvantages: Only 512MB (?)

..., the memory card cannot outperform the camera (a slow camera will still be a slow camera), but I do believe that this "Ultra" version will respond faster, allowing you to take more pictures, faster. Also, when you want to download (upload ?) all the 500+ photo's to your PC for printing/storage/editing or whatever, this fast card will make quick work of that too ! Of course, this will work in any device that takes an SD card, from PDA's to MP3 players. Dimensions: Height: 2.1 mm, Length: 32 mm, Width: 24 mm, Weight: 1.5 Grams. The SD card also has a little write-protection switch on the side to stop accidental overwriting/deletion of files if required. REVISION FOLLOWING COMMENT: Environmental Characteristics: - Temperature Operating: 0 to 70° C (Standard and Ultra II cards) - Temperature Non-Operating: -25 to 85° C (Standard and Ultra... I'll Never Max Out Again!
Review of Sandisk SDHC Secure Digital 4096 MB by BawBaw

Advantages: Enough storage for a full day of shooting
Disadvantages: Feels and looks fragile

...the idea. Throughout our stay in London, I never managed to overextend my camera's memory card. I never had to miss shots I wanted, and I never had to sort through my images for on-the-spot deletions. The flash memory cards I've owned have always been reliable. The technology on which they're all based is similar, and when carefully handled, they can be used, downloaded, erased, and reused through literally countless cycles. My 4-GB SanDisk Card is no exception. It has logged thousands of miles on my travels and thousands of photos transferred to my computer. Despite the fact that I use the same software (from Canon) to download images from my 4-GB SD as I use form a larger Ultra II card from an older digital camera, the transfer speed for the new 4-GB card is much faster. I can download 400 images using the new card in half the time... Read review

Mighty memory
Review of Sandisk SDSDQ-2048-E10M Micro Secure Digita 2048 MB by Rubeenio

Advantages: Cheap, great value
Disadvantages: non

...I just got the new Samsung U900, its an awesome phone and it takes Micro SD cards as an additional source of memory, since my phone didn't come with a card I decided to buy one to store all the music, pictures and films I will be taking on my phone. I looked up the stats of the U900 and saw that it could take up to a 2GB card, so i decided to get this size as it would be more that big enough for me. I opted for the Sandisk card because Sandisk is a manufacturer that i trust and i have got things from before (My Sandisk Mp3 player) The 2GB Sandisk Micro SD card cost me £15 from Ebay which i was very happy about and it was brand new. It it very small but it came with a handy carry case and also a SD card adaptor. Basically this is a larger SD card with a slot in the back that you can put the smaller Micro SD card into, this lets you put... Read review
