One of the great things about shopping on the internet is the ability it gives you to read reviews from people who have bought in the past, and this ruled out a few models on the grounds of "cheap rubbish". I kept being drawn towards the Sansa Fuze from SanDisk however - the price was within my budget and the features were what I was looking for. Online reviews were generally very positive. Moreover, it was available in red, which is my daughter's favourite colour! I consulted my daughter about the aesthetics (which are all she cares about) and received the thumbs up, so I ordered one on the Argos website and duly picked it up the next day. Sansa Fuze - An Excellent Player for under £60

Advantages: Cheap, Small, Excellent music quality and easy to use
Disadvantages: Screen is small due to the size of the player but fine to watch short videos on.

...the sansa clip is a great little mp3 player with decent space. and you can fit nearly 200 songs which is more than enough while your out and about. weather exploring or just travelling to places this little sansa clip is perfect the battery life is execellent and has never died on me, quick and easy to charge up via usb cable. the sound quality is amazing for this and its better then some sony mp3 players. extreemly easy to use menu it comes with a CD thingy - which you dont need as its ''plug and play'' so you dont have to install additional software to run it / use it on your pc simple drag and drop song transfer the song meun is laid out nicly with artist, ablum, genre to choose from. highly recommended :)...

Delightful little Sansa Clip

...I have a pet hate when it comes to Ipods, so when my old MP3 player finally gave up the ghost I replaced it with this sandisc sansa clip 8GB. I've had it for a couple of weeks now, and it's proving to be a handy little device. It is small, good looking, lightweight and holds a fair amount of music. Setup was easy (just plug into a computer and go), with a good 'drag and drop' option for transferring files. The fact that it's compatible with Windows Media Player is also a bonus. The menu is basic, but still clear to read, and radio is as good at the one on my mobile and the controls are easy to use. The main drawback is probably the need to recharge it with a USB port ? though you can get adaptors (I'm currently using the LUPO USB Power adapter mains charger UK) The USB cable itself is also rather short, but it hasn't proven to be too...

...Prior to purchasing this MP3 player, I had an ipod nano. I didn't dislike the ipod, but I hated itunes. I find it amazing that Apple have gone out of their way to make it as difficult as possible to add or remove music from an MP3 player. The Sansa on the other hand is simplicity itself, when it is plugged into your computer, it is seen as any other storage device, and music is added or removed by simply sending music to the item, or deleting it, simple! One of the really good things about the Sansa, is that it has a slot for a micro SD card, I have a 2GB card installed, which boosts the memory to 6GB for only the cost of the card. Unfortunately, my Sansa being a couple of years old, will not accept the newer and larger SDHC card, so 2GB is my maximum, I do not know if the newer Sansa's take the SDHC card, but if they do, these cards...

...in my big hand, a tiny thing will be not a good choice for me. The meny is comfortable to navigate, i had no issues with it. I was surprised by the good sound of my player. I like various music, but all genres of it were reproduced precisely. Great advantage for is that there is no need to use iTunes with this mp3 player. Before Sansa I had iPod with iTunes. The software - iTunes were not comfortable for me, i couldn't organize my music the way i like. When i got Sansa I was so happy that I didn't need any special soft. 2.
