Advantages: Good variety of topics,reliable advice. Disadvantages: Some of the featured beauty products are pricy.
...Top Sante is a monthly health and beauty magazine, published by EMAP Élan, which retails at £2.It is an excellent publication, with just the right balance between articles on health and articles on beauty and personal care. The advice given in the magazine is reliable as many of the regular contributors are medically qualified, although the advice is never patronising. There is a regular feature called “In the Surgery” where readers can write in for advice from the magazine’s panel of doctors, and everything is explained in layman’s terms, often with the help of diagrams.
I am also pleased that alternative medicine is not ignored, as I am very interested in herbal and homeopathic remedies. Sexual health is discussed, as is emotional health, both subjects being treated with sensitivity.

This wii game is great for all ages , The aim of the game is to paint the town due to the inkies turning everything into black and white , you have to put colour back into the world , you collect paint pots and start painting the buildings. There are also challenges you have to complete so you can move on to the next level but you have a time limit so watch out!
There are 3 colours of paint pots , Yellow , Blue and Red - you have to use these to mix colours.
The wii control is used in different ways to make the blob move and jump around'

...In my stocking last Christmas, I recieved a small envelope in which looked quite intrueging. Inside the envelope was a subscription to one of my favourite magazines "TOP SANTE.Top Sante is, in my eyes classed as a "Special Magazine" and so I was pleased to recieve this gift as it meant I wouldn't have to splash out every month.
The name Top Sante, comes from the french word "health". This indicates before you even read the magazine, that the contents will mainly be health related. My mum has been buying these magazines for 4 or 5 years and had saved up most of them. So you can imagine my delight when I came across a huge pile of them in one of my mum's drawers!

Advantages: A classic of French cinema Disadvantages: Challenging at times
..."Belle de Jour" was Buñuel's first film in colour and claimed the Golden Lion at the 1967 Venice Film Festival. It also won the award for Best Foreign Film in 1968 from the New York Film Critics Circle. It was based loosely on a novel by Joseph Kessel and like all of Buñuel's films it's subject matter borders on the surreal and draws upon prevalent ideas of Freudian theory and the idea that our everyday reality is constantly being undermined by subconscious hidden urges. What concerned Buñuel in many of his films was the way in which our underlying emotional forces and acts of sublimation override conscious acts of free will. This was the movie that inspired the website and the book of the same name that in turn inspired the TV series 'Secret Diary Of A Call Girl '.
