Santa's melted!

Advantages: smells gorgeous, a bit different, fun to use
Disadvantages: melts easily

...I first bought one of Lush's Strawberry Santa Shower Jellies last year. Out of all of the Christmas products, I think it was the one that immediately appealed to me. I love strawberry fragranced products, and I'm glad Lush have brought this out, as I've not been too keen on any of the Body Shop strawberry stuff, and a lot of the cheaper brands smell quite artificial. I know it's a little early to be talking about Christmas products, however I thought I'd write the review now, in case anyone is considering this for a present idea or just a treat for themselves! This was the first ever Lush shower jelly I used, and unfortunately it had leaked in the box, meaning I only had about half left, and the tub had become quite messy, so I wanted it used and out of the way! I did email Lush to tell them what happened and received both an apology...

Pizza Express Margherita Pizza

Advantages: Not too sickly
Disadvantages: Unhealthy

...Nearly everybody has got to love pizza. And this pizza is one of the best cook yourself pizza?s I?ve ever eaten. Margherita pizzas are the only type I will eat as I don?t like any toppings. I headed into Waitrose to go and buy a pizza and I felt like getting a thick pizza. This was the only reasonably thick pizza on the shelf. So I though Pizza Express it is. --Packaging-- The packaging is dark blue with yellow and white writing on it. There is a cut out on the left hand side of the box, so you can see what the product you are buying looks like. Above the cut out is the Pizza Express logo. It tells you that ?The original 165 . . . Margherita, mozzarella & tomato. Our famous mozzarella cubes which melt into creamy pools on our original tomato sauce?. It is a very nice looking packet; it really does intrigue you into buying...

margherita magnifico!!!

Advantages: A bargin, quick, scoff fest
Disadvantages: helps you pile on the pounds!!!

...ooooh i love pizza i do...probably too much as i'm always stuffing my face full of it!! Yes i am a pig and yes i should try and eat more healthy....but i love pizza. Plus for someone who can't cook like my self it's perfect!! No knowledge required, and you can tell when it's done when the smoke alarm goes off!! Ha, only joking. This fabulous Tesco frozen pizzeria stonebaked margherita, isn't the best pizza you can get, but for the money it's a bargin!! Obviously i bought it at tescos (duh!!) and i got 2 for £3!!! How brill is that! It isn't one of tescos short term offers either....i checked on the website and it's on for another year!!! Well thats me sorted then....and i don't have to rush and stock up just yet!!!! ****The Pizza**** Well this is your normal size pizza weighing approx 460g. It's a thin and crispy (stonebaked...

The Dolphins' Gulf

Advantages: safe, elegant, jet set,
Disadvantages: beaches, elegant, jet set, week ends

...&Gabbana, La Perla, Loropiana and more. It's a very exclusive town with a lot of restaurants and pubs, but not with a hugh night life. The There is an aerea with nice pubs that they close late, Please, go at the Master and try their Rossini and Bellini. I prefer the Rossini. There are two disco. One in Paraggi, called Carillon, on the way to Portofino. If you go by car, you have to go early to find the parking, because you will find big parking problems. The other disco, called Covo di Nord Est, always on the way to Portofino, but closer to Santa Margherita , it's possible to go there walking. It's a nice walk on the sea. The Covo during the day works also as beach. There is a wonderful American Bar - Capo Nord. It's more or less 1 km after the Covo di Nord Est. It's a really romantic place where you can enjoy your drinks seatting in front...

Being Santa

Advantages: Entertaining for adults and children
Disadvantages: Silly...but what do you expect?

...Scott Calvin works for a toy firm while struggling with his ex-wife for custody of his son, Charlie. When Charlie comes to spend Christmas with him, Scott is reluctant to join in with the Christmas spirit. Then on Christmas Eve he accidentally kills Santa by knocking him off the roof, and, by wearing Santa's clothes, immediately enters into a contract to replace him. But after an evening of delivering presents with Charlie, Scott puts it all down to a dream...until the next year when he suddenly puts on weight and begins to resemble Santa Claus. Will he accept that he is now Santa Claus and the responsiblities that go along with it? Although this is very far from the type of film I would usually watch - I like horrors and thrillers - there is something about the run up to Christmas that makes me want to watch something frivolous...

pula a mini rome!!

Advantages: beautiful monuments, sea and food
Disadvantages: check bill in restaurants as they usually overcharge you!!!

...This is the third time Ive been to pula so Im becoming a bit of an expert! Its in Istria which is part of croatia, its in the south of croatia. we drove ther from italy and crossed a bit of slovenia to get there. Major traffic. If you are going from england, you can fly with ryanair from london stanstead. Im not sure if you can fly from other airports. I was surprised I didnt meet any english people there in 2 weeks!! Predominantly tourists are Italian, followed by french and german in equal measure. The first time we went stayed in pula. Now pula is like a mini rome it has its own ampitheatre and arena and the square is similar to piazza navona in rome. Its ancient with very beautiful buildings. Its not very big so you can walk around it easily in a couple of hours. My main advice is to be careful when eating there. Lots...

PULA - GLADIATORS SACRIFICES

Advantages: many things to explore & very cultural and romantic place to see
Disadvantages: camps and youth hostel is the only place to stay cheaper & not cheapest place in the world

...with 2750 berths open all year round. Tourist founds of windsurfing will find that the favorable sea currents are very strong and wind demanding. Nearly all tourist places along the coast rent windsurfing equipment. Also water skiing courses are in all larger tourist villages and camps. Apart from the versatile flora and fauna, the Istrian Sea hides shipwrecks that are very interesting to viewers and professionals. There is diving clubs willing to organize and lead underwater expeditions. There’re also spider-web bike trails, covering all Istria. Since the fantastic climatic conditions, paragliding and hang-gliding is practiced all year round. You will easily locate Pula on the map. Young James Joyce taught English, in the naval base of the Austro- Hungarian Monarchy in 1904-1905. Also Jules Verne who actually glorified Pula in his novel...

Di Maggios, decent Italian restaurant.

Advantages: Good food, nice atmosphere
Disadvantages: Something not quite perfect, a little too busy

...Di Maggios, as the name may suggest, are a string of Italian restaurants situated in and around the Glasgow area. I will be reviewing the city centre restaurant specifically which is situated in Royal Exchange Square but I believe that the quality and atmosphere have been similar in their other restaurants so would (slightly tentatively since I haven't been to them all!) recommend the others equally. I hadn't booked the restaurant and so was a little concerned that I would have to wait as it was a Friday night. Luckily there was room and my partner and I were seated straight away but it can get quite busy so I would recommend booking just to be sure if you really want to come here. From the start the waiter managed to achieve the right balance of being friendly but not intruding on us-my personal preference is when a waiter keeps out...

Acqua Di Gio

Advantages: Smells Great
Disadvantages: Can be expensive

...Hi. I'm going to share with you my experiences with Armani's ACQUA DI GIO today. This fragrance came out way back in 1996 following the successes of Armani Mania (1981) and Armani Eau Pour Homme (1984). I have no hesitation in saying that Acqua Di Gio too is a success. Armani's Acqua Di Gio for Men is constantly being advertised everywhere, particularly in Debenhams and Men's magazines such as Men's Fitness and Men's Health. This was a big factor behind me buying this because Armani weren't going to spend millions advertising this fragrance if it was not good. Neither would Debenhams display posters of it everywhere either. I also bought my 50ml of Acqua Di Gio because of the positive reviews from word of mouth and from the Internet. I bought mine from Superdrug. Anyway... Armani's Acqua Di Gio for Men comes in a simple...

This chubby little Santa smells of oranges!

Advantages: A lovely dark orange bath which smells great.
Disadvantages: Doesn't appear to have had much effect on the condition of my skin.

...I don't often buy many bath ballistics from Lush as I prefer the bubble bars and in the past some of the ballistics have really not been worth the money. I like the bath ballistics which make the water change into a vibrant colour and of course, smell really nice. Some of the ballistics Lush offer don't change the colour of the water and the scent soon wanders away, leaving you to wonder what you missed. I love Lush's christmas stock they get in each year, but I never imagined I'd end up trying this ballistic. Now that Christmas is over Lush are trying to get rid of the left over Christmas products and they had an offer on, spend £20 in Lush and get a goody bag with £20's worth of Lush Christmas stock in it. How could I refuse an offer like that? The Satsumo Santa was one of the items in my goody bag. In the shape of a cuddly fat santa...
