...This Disgo camcorder is a great little gadget. I saw this camcorder on the TV program 'Something for the Weekend' on BBC1. They described it a fun, cheap and easy to use camcorder. I have since brought one for myself. I have to say it's defiantly fun, cheap and easy to use! The camcorder has 60 minutes of recording time, runs on two AA batteries and has its own USB connecter integrated, this connects to any laptop or PC via the USB socket. The camcorder is approximately 15 centimetres tall and 4centimeters wide. Simple buttons and on screen prompts make it simple to use even for technophobes. ...I brought this Camcorder recently and i was very impress with it because it's very light, fits right in the hand of your palm and gives you great pictures.Other the other hand when you are recording it shakes a bit which isn't an ideal camcorder.The main thing is that this camcorder recorders onto a SD card which will save you a lot of money because you can record films and take pictures and then transfer it onto a CD and delete it off the SD card and re use the card over and over again instead of buying tapes. Unfortunately this camera doesn't broadcast HD but if you have a 720p screen the video images look good as a HD picture.The pictures are quite clear as well and 10 mega pixel for still image and 7.38 mega pixel for recording, it has a brilliant optical zoom of 5x....

Sanyo CG65 - A Jack of All Trades, Master of None!

Advantages: Excellent Form Factor, Fairly Decent Stills, Voice Guidance , Good Video In Good Lighting.
Disadvantages: Poor Quality in Low Light, Battery life Could be Better!

...for capturing those irreplacable, life - bending moments such as babys first steps, daughters first words etc, since the video quality just isn't up there. Good fun, the voice that speaks with this camcorder is also gimmicky yet fun (yes. she can be turned off thank goodness), and the whole package is fairly attractive provided you can score it for under £200 or so. If you're looking to go more futureproof, I've heard the Sanyo HD1 or HD2 models (which record into High Definition) have much better tolerance for low light situations all round. Its your call, i've given my honest opinion, but I'll have you know i took it back the day after and had a full refund from jessops, since for £250 i still felt fairly cheated for a jack of all trades device which is a master of certainly none. ...I was looking for my first widescreen television and, after a very poor experience with a Toshiba from Comet which eventually went back for a full refund, I settled on this television from Powerhouse. I am no expert and I had not got a lot of money to spend. My criteria were that it had to be 28" (because I did not fancy peering at a screen that was less tall than my old standard shape television) it had to be stereo, it had to be affordable (i.e., around £300) and, ideally, it had to sound good.
