poor performer for all sd sources
Review of JVC LT 32 DR 7 by cheapomulti

Advantages: space saving, nice simple cabinet design, good freeview reception
Disadvantages: very poor picture quality

...manufacturer so I get to test them on several different telly's and I've not seen many as bad as this one....in fact for SD DVD's we only use CRT telly's to do QA checks on DVD's playability and picture quality ...LCD telly's simply aren't up to the job (and this is of august 2008!!!) The only plus point was that the freeview tuner was fast and seemed sensitive and I had no problems with the finding and programming of channels. So I've gone back to my CRT telly and have given the the JVC LT32DR7 to my mum and dad as one of the guns died in their Sanyo CRT...so it better than no telly for them. I haven't yet found a LCD/Plasma that can match a good CRT picture quality for SD sources. I think I'll wait till HD is the norm and then go for a LG telly which are so far the best LCD telly I've stood in front of and watched...probably down to they... Read review

The biggest small telly I have ever had
Review of Daewoo DTH 2881 -100D by JeffFromPoole

Advantages: Great picture, reasonable price
Disadvantages: Bulky, only one scart socket

...Picture Playback The picture quality is amongst the best I have seen on a CRT TV. The screen is a true flat one and colour reproduction is very true to life. My digital photos look very true to life when displayed on it. Sound Quality There are bult in stereo speakers which give quite acceptable sound. Ours is connected to a Sanyo home cinema system, which we use when watching DVDs, when watching the news we don't bother with the 5.1 and it is clear and loud enough, even for the mother in law, who is getting a little hard of hearing these days. Ease of Use Not sure about this setting, you switch it on, the remote takes over, there is nothing to worry about. Ease of Installation This was great, we plugged it in, switched it on and it automatically tuned itself to the terrestial channels and the cable TV box. once all th channels... Read review

GOOD AND BAD, BUT MOSTLY GOOD!!!!
Review of Sanyo CE32LDY1 by cindyhigham

Advantages: Great picture quality with plenty of extras
Disadvantages: recording abilities are weak

...I would like you all to know about my super new tele that arrived today. My old 28" CRT TV finally gave up on me, so i decided if I was going to but a TV, it might as well be an up-to date future proof one. My decision to go for this particular model was quite simple. It has a built in Freeview tuner. Yes I know a lot of TV's do have this feature but not many for this price. I had trawled the usual Comet & Curry's & even checked out the Tesco & Asda cheapo ranges. Whilst the supermarkets did have 32" sets for around £500 -£600, they were all brands I had never heard of. I purchased my Sanyo on line for £550 from Jessops, who were offering a very good price. Most of the other on-line retailers were asking in excess of £700 for the same set. Delivery was very fast, from the time of ordering it was in my house in three days... Read review

Review of Sanyo VPC Z380 by Mombeaudette

Advantages: Ease of use and quality pictures
Disadvantages: putting in charged batteries, but even that is not bad

...The Sanyo VPC-Z380 is truely a pleasure to own. It has auto focus, auto detect flash, self timer photo and video capabilities, plus to much more to list. Sanyo broke the mold when they designed this camera. It is easy to use, yet smart enough to capture professional quality pictures. It is durable and dependable. The LCD screen is a plus feature making it easier to capture the right pose and images that you want. It can be connected to a computer or tv to view the images. You can take a short movie clip as well. It gives you many option such as manual flash, instant flash, self timer mode, Macro imaging for those who like very close ups. The pictures are saved to the samrt media card then downloaded to your computer. A very easy camera to use, with all of the necessary functions making it a leader.... Read review

Digicam
Review of Sanyo VPC G200 Digital Camera by jcolton

Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: Battery Life

...The Sanyo digicam is a very easy to use camera which has simply buttons for different settings and is capable of taking pictures with sound, plus small videos. When it comes to getting your pictures off the camera it couldnt be easyer with the software that is provided which is easy to use. The camera is very good on batteries when taking pictures but if the monitor function is used then the batteries will drain quickly. The camera can hold 60 High Quality pictures and and 120 Standard quality aswell as videos and sound.... Read review

Super Workhorse
Review of Sanyo 1200W by gailmill

Advantages: looks good, works great, sturdy, well built
Disadvantages: a little difficult to get bags sometimes

...I have had this vacuum for well over year now and although we are a family of four with two VERY messy kids, this vacuum is as good today as the day I bought it. It vacuums up every speck of dust, paper, crud, general bits and bobs and the casing is so sturdy and well made, there isn't a scratch or chip on it (even though daughter number 1 likes to sit it straddled and play cars!). The only gripe I have is that where I live, it is a little difficult to get replacement bags for Sanyo vacs. Don't ask me why, I didn't think Sanyo vacs were particularly rare, however I usually have to get them ordered in from the vac bag shop. Oh well you can't have everything can you? Anyway, I would definitely recommend this vacuum, it was reasonably priced and I call it my old faithful (as in the past we have tended to wear vacuums out in about ten... Read review

Superb little performer
Review of Sanyo VPC X350 EX by AndreBoyle

Advantages: Good picture, sound, viewport
Disadvantages: Battery life

...This superb little performer has added all sorts of pizazz to my multimedia work with it's stunning output for the cost. Flash, sound, picture quality, good viewport. All very good. The ability to record sound makes this wee camera an absolute stunner for making things come to life safter the event. Music concerts especially reproduce that feeling more accurately than a phone by itself ever could. Quick connection to a TV for output to VCR is also an excellent feature that would go well on other cameras. Take note manufacturers, this is an excellent feature that's well worth the extra cost for the sanyo alone. An all round excellent performer.... Read review

The best I've found
Review of Van Dyke Technologies - SecureCRT by bobsmith

Advantages: Incredibly stable, support for most standards
Disadvantages: none

...SecureCRT is a program which allows you to login to accounts on remote systems via telnet, ssh, rlogin, etc. This isn't a hacking program - it allows you to enter your own username and password for a machine. I've tried a lot of similar programs in the best, and in terms of support for the different login methods, text modes, and stability, SecureCRT has yet to be surpassed and I've yet to actually find any fault with it. If you need a program to log into remote systems this is certainly the one to use.... Read review

Sanyo Xacti E60 - Style and substance !
Review of Sanyo Xacti VPC-E60EX by Bigdavel

Advantages: Great image quality. 3 x Internal optical lens. Impressive 3 inch screen.
Disadvantages: Average and limited flash.

...The sanyo Xacti E60 is the successor to the popular E6 - but the few additional functions make this a useful and desirable ultra compact camera to own ! As with the E6 - the 3 inch screen and 3 x konica minolta non-protruding optical lens are excellent ! The menu system is simple to navigate, it takes SD cards and the movie mode is great quality (if not a little greedy on memory !). The ultra fast touch sensitive focus shutter is clever and the camera can talk you through various stages to get your perfect picture - yes it talks to you ! So what's new ? The E60 comes with 32mb of internal memory (opposed to 16mb) and sports a simple grip on the front of the camera. Image stabilization has been included in the movie mode and red --eye correction software is provided in the menu options. All very useful if not major improvements... Read review
