Sanyo Xacti VPC-C1EX
Advantages: Does what a digital camera is suppose to do.
Disadvantages: Might hurt someone with the laser.
...The first thing you will notice about this Sanyo digital camera is the odd looking design, it doesn’t look like a conventional camera but more like a television show laser gun. When you hold this camera, for me at least, I feel kind of odd and out of place. I would think Sanyo tried taking a brave step but for me and a few others I have talked to, it hasn’t worked.
The camera itself is 3.2 mega pixels which in this day and age is not digital camera quality anymore, they have better cameras on mobile phones now, but in terms of quality it does produce visible pictures with a fair amount of details but this isn’t a camera if you are looking to take photography semi seriously, it’s more something you would use for a quick snap. At the time like anything it would have been great when it first come out but technology is ever changing...

Sanyo CG65 - A Jack of All Trades, Master of None!
Advantages: Excellent Form Factor, Fairly Decent Stills, Voice Guidance , Good Video In Good Lighting.
Disadvantages: Poor Quality in Low Light, Battery life Could be Better!
...clean camera, camera pouch, software cds and utilities, and a 780mah li-on sanyo battery which is supposedly good for around 60 minutes use. There is no viewfinder, so this is quoted with teh LCD screen on for framing shots.
be aware there is only 18mb internal memory, but the camera supports SDHC memory cards currently up to 8gb in size, i stuck a 2gb transfllash into mine using an adaptor.
The battery comes with its own external charger, or you can charge the camera throguh the dock. So I charged it, and then proceeded to my party.
I wont bore you all with the goings on at the party, but upon returning I was eager to hook the sanyo up and test out what i'd snapped.
To be honest - photographs were very good with adequate lighting, they were detailed and with relatively little digital noise in the image. Iso is also automatically...

Sanyo Xacti E60 - Style and substance !
Advantages: Great image quality. 3 x Internal optical lens. Impressive 3 inch screen.
Disadvantages: Average and limited flash.
...The sanyo Xacti E60 is the successor to the popular E6 - but the few additional functions make this a useful and desirable ultra compact camera to own !
As with the E6 - the 3 inch screen and 3 x konica minolta non-protruding optical lens are excellent ! The menu system is simple to navigate, it takes SD cards and the movie mode is great quality (if not a little greedy on memory !). The ultra fast touch sensitive focus shutter is clever and the camera can talk you through various stages to get your perfect picture - yes it talks to you !
So what's new ? The E60 comes with 32mb of internal memory (opposed to 16mb) and sports a simple grip on the front of the camera. Image stabilization has been included in the movie mode and red --eye correction software is provided in the menu options.
All very useful if not major...

Embarass your kids later in life
Advantages: easy to use, editting software, good picture playback and excellent sound pickup and playback
Disadvantages: a very weak built in light
...I remember my fathers first camcorder, it was shoulder mounted and I couldn't lift the thing it was that big and heavy. How times have changed in such a short space of time and I made my first camcorder purchase a month before the birth of my son, now some 8 months ago. As it wasn't an essential buy as I could record video clips with my digital camera I was warned not to go overboard and was limited to a £200 budget. Shopping around I ended up with the Sanyo VPC CA6, spookily enough, the same make as my fathers first camcorder and it came in well under budget at £149.99.
I'm not going to try and convince you that I know rafts of information about the camcorder, I don't, I don't understand what most terms detailed int he instruction manual mean so my opinion will be based on what I think of the product, what I have managed to make it...

Could This Be The XACTi Camera Your Looking For?
Advantages: Small, Great range of options
Disadvantages: Price, HD not as good as you may think.
...Introduction
I would like to start this review explaining why I chose to buy this product over the many other video camera choices out there. the first reason I chose to buy this product was because I have fallen in love with many products that the Sanyo company have sent me in the past and when it was time to update my video camera my attention was immediately drawn to this product as it is considered to be the worlds smallest high definition video camera to date. My first look at this camera came in my local electrical goods store where I was amazed at its quality and lightness. All cameras such as this that are featured in Sanyo's Xacti range all record videos and images to a SD memory card saving the need for a pile up of tapes or DVDs.

Advantages: Ease of use and quality pictures
Disadvantages: putting in charged batteries, but even that is not bad
...The Sanyo VPC-Z380 is truely a pleasure to own. It has auto focus, auto detect flash, self timer photo and video capabilities, plus to much more to list. Sanyo broke the mold when they designed this camera. It is easy to use, yet smart enough to capture professional quality pictures. It is durable and dependable. The LCD screen is a plus feature making it easier to capture the right pose and images that you want. It can be connected to a computer or tv to view the images. You can take a short movie clip as well. It gives you many option such as manual flash, instant flash, self timer mode, Macro imaging for those who like very close ups. The pictures are saved to the samrt media card then downloaded to your computer. A very easy camera to use, with all of the necessary functions making it a leader....

Who said that the camera cant lie
Advantages: Ease to use, Reliability
Disadvantages: None found
...Every so often in ones life, a piece of equipment is acquired that becomes a true favourite and friend. These can vary from a penknife to a Rolls Royce and the original cost is of no real importance. It becomes “priceless” in your eyes regardless of whatever the rest of the world may think. I was fortunate then to discover and own four years ago a camera that displays all the qualities required to fulfil this criteria.
It is the Sanyo digicam VPC-G200 and has by now been superseded by other models. I have tried the newer versions by Sanyo and other companies and have as yet to find one that is in the same league. Even Sanyo themselves seem to have lost their way in the development of the digital camera.
Most cameras now rely on the smartcard whereas mine relies on an inbuilt memory to store images...

Sanyo PLC-SU20 A Good All-Rounder
Advantages: Very Robust, Well Constructed, Will Last A Lifetime!
Disadvantages: No lamp counter
...Sanyo PLC-SU20
The Sanyo PLC-SU20 multimedia projector is one of the best projectors in the world. Immediately, you are now going to be wondering why?!?!?! It's bulky, it's not very aesthetically appealing and it's hardly the best spec. in the world. But this is such a reliable projector!
I have owned several of these projector and not one has let me down. They just seem to go and go without fault. The projector's are very robustly made as it has been designed for portability.
The projector has a very handy fold out handle. This is very strong so you have no worries about it breakig after continuous use, When it's not in use, the handle folds away and sits flush with the side of the projector and is hardly noticeable.
This is one of Sanyo's earliest portable projectors. You can understand Sanyo's ranges quite easily. Every...
