Sapphire 9800 xt
Review of Sapphire RADEON 9800 XT by
dgreat
Advantages: Fast, superb graphics
Disadvantages: Expensive
...The ATI RADEON 9800xt has a new video processing unit called the R360, it was manufactured on a 0.15 micron process with 115 million transistors and has a VPU speed 412 MHz, the onboard memory has raised from 128mb to 256mb running at 730 MHz and capable of delivering up to 23.3 GB per second.
The top of the card has a copper plate, covered with rolled copper fins, and top by a plastic cover, the bottom also has a copper plate used to absorbed heat from memory modules. This video card has a very big fan and it adjusted according to the cores temperature and includes a thermocouple to monitor the card’s temperatures.

Great card for a gamer on a budget!
Review of Sapphire RADEON X1950 PRO by
Xplodzion
Advantages: No trouble with latest games, cool and quiet
Disadvantages: Does not have DirectX10
...I bought this card about a month ago and since then I have had sufficient time to test it and see if my money was well spent, here is my short review of the Sapphire Radeon X1950PRO.
The Radeon X1950 Pro was designed to replace ATI's older midrange card, the Radeon X1800 GTO. With a 580 MHz core clock speed and 512MB of GDDR3 RAM running at 1,4GHz, the Radeon X1950PRO boasts a faster core clock and memory speeds than the Radeon X1800 GTO.
Like most midrange to high-end graphics cards, the Sapphire Radeon X1950PRO requires a link to your PC's power supply. Most PCs with a 300-to-400-watt power supply should be able to handle a single card, and ATI recommends at least a 550-watt power supply for CrossFire mode.
The Sapphire Radeon X1950PRO's fan runs very quiet under stress and did not generate too much heat which was perfect for me.
I...

Quite decent card.
Review of Sapphire RADEON X1550 by
mastara
Advantages: Cheap, Good for multimedia PC.
Disadvantages: Poor performance in high level gaming.
...This Sapphire Radeon X1550 is a simple PCI Express graphics card with 512MB of DDR2 onboard memory. With a retail price of around $89, it is quite affordable.
The GPU heat is quite low as many other entry-level graphic card.
The 512MB of DDR2 memory does get warm to the touch, but nothing too alarming so it's okay to keep the memory naked. The fan is not making noise too.
Conclusion :
This card performed exactly as I expected. If you play the occasional game at lower resolutions with minimal to medium details, frame rates are half decent. Higher gaming detail and resolutions are too much for this small video card. For this use you should go grab higher level cards. The best use for this is for multimedia card....

Try this
Review of Sapphire RADEON 9200SE Atlantis by
gelintas
Advantages: Cheap value video card
Disadvantages: Slower than others
...Finally I can replace my old vdeo card with a new one. I choose The Sapphire 9200se because I heard a lot of good reviews about it. The Sapphire 9200se is one of the top models in video card and I was able to purchase it for 18 bucks on a local shops.
Installing this product is a breeze I just inserted it to the AGP slot and screw it on, The video card has a large heatsink instead of fan. After that I quickly install the graphics driver the setup is automatic and the installation process is over in minutes.
This product is compatible with Direct X 9.0 and older versions. My PC system has an Athlon XP 3000+ processor, ASUS motheboard and 1Gb of PC 2700 ram. I’m expecting that the sapphire 9200se would deliver me some imressive results.
I tried some games in it and I was impressed by it’s capabilities, It runs smoothly on warcraft...

Sapphire Radeon 9600XT Review
Review of Sapphire RADEON 9600 XT by
reviewermarc
Advantages: Price, value for money, performance
Disadvantages: Not for the advanced gamer
...Introduced as one of radeons mid-high end products, the Radeon 9600xt was originally aimed at the user on a budget, who still required good performance out of moderate applications.
Featuring exactly the same functionality and system performance as the 9600 PRO, XT is based on the RV360 chip.
Coupled with cooling, and superior memory, ATI's major downfall came with the memory speed of only 300MHZ. Although to be fair, they have laxed this and allowed 25MHZ increases only recently.
Using the latest and fatest AGP 8X, the most can be experienced from some of the latest games. After an attempt running DOOM3 with the card, I experienced VERY smooth gameplay, however there are slight stutters when it comes to large open environment rendering scenes, for example 9600XT has a hell of a hard time trying to keep up with Far...

A good mid range gamers card
Review of Sapphire RADEON X1950 PRO by
havanna
Advantages: Price - performance is great value
Disadvantages: none
...Its a good job my husband knows all the tech stuff here lol this is a review based on his experience of this..
Sapphire Radeon X1950PRO
The card supports 256Mb of DDR3 speed Memory, with a PCI-E interface. Installation was simple removed old card and replaced with new card powered up and installed new drivers , didn't use the sapphire install disk but tend to use the ATI drivers direct from their website.
When I brought the card I was looking for a relatively decent priced card for use with gaming and usual desktop performance. The card is robust with a quiet full length cooling fan which is adequate for my system due to sufficient case cooling. The card supports windows Vista fully so when I brave the upgrade will try that out, works okay on vista beta 2 though.
The card is a Radeon 1950 core, which has the following features.
36...

A good budget card
Review of Sapphire RADEON 9200 Atlantis by
J.Gamgee
Advantages: Value for money
Disadvantages: Slightly misleading amount of memory.
...in their full glory, but at the moment I believe that this card (paired with the right processor and so on) can handle any game on the market.
Benchmarking shows that this card is very much in the middle of the range for performance, Ati of late have been offering good performance for your money in just about all of their cards. This card is of course manufactured by Sapphire – but for Ati cards there really isn't a lot between the different manufacturers making the same range, so don;t be put off by the fact that this card is not entirely made by Ati.
One of the great things about Ati cards is the image quality, both in 2D and 3D these cards give good crisp images and makes everything from viewing web pages to playing games a pleasure.
Another point worth mentioning is that this is a directX 9.0 card meaning that it has better support...

TV, DVD, VCD, CD and File player, and a VGA card?
Review of Sapphire THE BEAST ALL-IN-WONDER RADEON 9800 PRO by
saucy77
Advantages: An amazing array of gadgets to play with.
Disadvantages: As of August 2005, Sapphire have stopped manufacturing the AIW cards.
..., including DVD (Mpeg2) all the way down to VCD quality. I was fed up with missing Big Brother and recorded an hour it took around 5gig of my hard drive.
I have a cable modem and split the feed so I could use this with the card, but you can use a normal terrestial aerial if you happy with just the bog standard channels. Using cable, you get all the channel's you subscribe to (I think), seeing that I don't subscribe to the TV service, the only extra channels I receive are Sky One, Challenge, Sky News and another region of ITV.
You get a 2 year warranty on Sapphire card's.. which I am glad of as mine had started to overheat. I managed to send it back, and am now in the process of waiting for my replacement to arrive.
As Sapphire have stopped making the All In Wonder card's, you will be pushed to get a brand new one now. So you might have to scour...
