...I am a medium-high pool player and I played pool since I was in primary pool. I played on a lot of pool tables,I owned a lot of cues and I used almost all the pool chalk brands in the industry. Here is why I dont really like Unicorn pool chalk: 1.First the paper used to surround the actual chalk is very low quality and after a short time it shreds and your hand will be full with blue chalk. 2.The quality of the actual chalk is inferior as it is not extremely degranulated and at some point when you used half of it you will see some small granules which obviously are not compatible with the precision in this game. 3.Of course for it's price it would be a good aquisition for pool halls where they dont care what chalk they give you and where they dont have very good quality cues. 4.If you own a good pool stick you should go for a superior...

...The only reason I had a watch of Jack and Sarah was the constant comments I kept reading about how Kevin Smith's Jersey Girl was little more than a remake of it. While there are certainly some similar plot points, on the whole though I would say that the two are entirely different. The best part though was finding a nice little film that I probably would have missed otherwise. Walking the line between drama and comedy is not an easy one for any film. If you're trying to push serious themes, it becomes difficult to crack jokes at the same time. Likewise, a dramatic event in a comedic film can be a very jarring experience that works against the film. Loveable Charlie Chalk

...I was given this DVD for christmas in the year it came out (2005), and I have to say I was pretty excited to get it as Charlie Chalk, from what I could remember of it, was always one of my favourite children's programmes. I think it was the happy-go-lucky clown, the theme tune, and all the bright colours that did it for me! And i'd say my excitement was justified as it is still as good now as it was all those years ago. Charlie Chalk is a children's animation from the mid 80's, was created by Ivor Wood, and comes from the producers of Postman Pat. Sarah Jane spins off from the Doctor

Advantages: Entertaining for the kids, not too frightening and good story lines
Disadvantages: The loud background music is sometimes too loud

And with each one being 25 minutes long you?re talking nearly an hour for each story, which is a good length to keep the kids from getting too bored, although with the freaky stuff going on in the show I doubt that they will get bored at all. As I said, my kids love this show and watch it at every opportunity, be it on the BBC channel or on DVD, so I have a great way to keep them quiet for at least an hour. Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead

Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging.
