.... This cable is a belkin one, which is a company who have been making computer accessories and wireless devices for a number of years and are very well known for it. They are also well know for their good quality and reliable cables and make so many different types there one for whatever you need to do really. Because this is a VGA cable one end goes in your PC or laptop and the other in the back of your TV. It really a s simple as that. All laptops and pcs being made now have this capability to plug this cable into them and the port is usually a blue one which is longer but a little thinner than a USB port. Some really older pcs might not have the port however anything newer than 5 years should definitely have it. There are 2 screws on each of the ends which are there to screw into your pc or laptop and then your TV as well...

Xbox 360 VGA HD AV Cable

Advantages: Better Clarity to visuals
Disadvantages: Some old Xbox games wont run via this cable

...If you are currently running your XBOX 360 through a TV using the supplied RGB Cables then you are missing out on the power of the 360. When I first bought mine in December 2005 I was using the supplied RGB Cables , this was o.k I was happy with the result , But I wanted desperately to try the HD modes . I had visions of spending £600+ On a New Fangled HDTV from the local Argos Until I read that Literally any old PC monitor would run the XBOX 360 in HDTV mode with these cables !!! I spent my hard earned cash on a set & hooked them up to my Relisys LCD TV ( P.C Monitor & TV all in one) Using the VGA Input . I went to the settings for the 360 & changed to it to 1360 x 768 . The Difference was unbelievable !! , trust me you WILL NOT want to plug those old RGB cables in after this . Everything is much clearer , Crisper & better...

Advantages: The games look FANTASTIC, HD For ALL!
Disadvantages: None, seriously, get one!

...suffer from looking at the low resolution TV screen. This cable has taken my XBOX 360 experience from the realms of 'novel' to AWESOME! I kid you not, if you are stuck with a cheap telly, and a limited budget, get yourself one of these cables and dust off your old PC monitor, I would say that any PC monitor 19 inches and above would be ideal for this. Installation was a breeze, the connections are universal, plug the trapezoid shaped end into the back of the XBOX 360 (take out the old cable first...duh!) and the VGA end marries to your VGA monitor cable (there is a F-F adapter included if your plug is M ended) Component Audio is the same as the original cable, so just plug the red and white channels to your amp/speaker set. I wish I had stumbled on this little gem earlier, it has made me dismiss any thoughts of going back to gaming...

Advantages: Great pictures and you can connect it to a number of devices.
Disadvantages: It is expensive and the cable is quite short.

...The Sony male VMC 15HD Video / Audio cable is very cheap for the thing it does which is transfer images. This cable is the future of HD TV I paid £25.00 for this cable. The UK Sony website sells it at £29.00 but there are plenty of other suppliers out there. This is a great piece of kit for transferring pictures from HD DVD players to HD TVs and still leaves the pictures with a very high picture quality you on the screen with its high rate data transfer "which means it loses very little detail." Sony states Gold-plated terminals for much improved signal transmission. This cable has gold plated connectors "The connectors are the gold bits at either end of the cable that go into the two devices e.g. TV to DVD. Advantages: Well.... Jim Carrey stars in it!
Disadvantages: it possibly could have done with just a touch more humor.
