...I wanted driving lessons for my 17th birthday so i could gain more independance however i did NOT want to drive in a mini, any other car was fine, just not a mini. So what does my mum do? Books my lessons with Bramhall school of motoring - purely minis. At first i was sceptical, i thought of the old style minis and thought they would be cramped and just not very nice to drive. I was hugely mistaken. The mini's are lovely, really comfortable and plenty of space. My instuctor is really patient with me and very encouraging. I was allowed to drive on my first lesson after being taught the basics so was impressed with that. So far i have only had 3 lessons so i can't comment on whether i pass first time or not , however i have booked my theory - only 3 weeks after first learning to drive a car! Advantages: different game modes
Disadvantages: can bore of it quite quickly

...I'm a big fan of the tycoon series of games - mall tycoon, zoo tycoon, casino tycoon etc so I thought that school tycoon would be another game to add to that list. I bought it for £5 at PC world and, at that price, you pretty much can't go wrong! There are a couple of different modes to this game. There is the story mode, where you have to build a school from scratch on a limited budget and operate at a profit but also meet the standards of education that you need to achieve eg sports/discipline/attendance etc. You can do this by employing the right (strict) teachers. This is where the challenge lies as obviously there is a trade-off between employing the best teachers and paying lower wages. You also get to design the layout of your school and choose what to build and where. There are facilities such as cafeterias, staff rooms...

...It is my 200th review on here and I wanted to do something a little bit different. As I haven't written a Ciao Café review for some time I thought that it would be a nice change. This topic caught my eye seeing as I am now almost qualified as a teacher and wanted to reflect back on my own school experience! So, the following are a selection of my ten best school memories. One of the schools that DID reply was Drive Safe School of Motoring. I came across this site by accident, as the URL wasn't very self-explanatory, being "drivingschools-swansea.co.uk", but the site looked pretty well made. * The Website * The website is very easy to use and is broken down into five pages: 1) The Home Page - States that the school was launched in 1995 and has had an excellent pass rate and reputation since then. It goes on to say that the lessons are tailored to fit around the client, they specialise in teaching nervous pupils, they run Pass Plus courses and amongst other things, there was a free assessment lesson - no obligation. SCHOOL ........... DAZE .

Advantages: ten school memories .
Disadvantages: there are only seven !

...Lord , I'm not sure if I have 10 . Well , not " best " in the usual sense of the word where everyone is doing something good , studious and productive , and at the end of it they are presented with a nice certificate and some house points If that's what your expecting of MY school days , then maybe you'd better stop reading now ? So these are the best from my point of view . The ones I remember most vividly , the ones I enjoyed the most regardless of anyone else's enjoyment or lack of it , and the ones that just stand out from every other routine day for whatever reason .. They wont necessarily be in chronological order , I'll just write them down as they occur to me . I leave it to you to keep up ?. Advantages: Up to date news features, good photography, detailed road tests
Disadvantages: Biased towards German products, expensive for a weekly

...This is the oldest motoring magazine on planet earth & probably one of the best, written by true motoring nuts who live & breathe cars 24/7. It is a weekly magazine that now costs £2.50 & they don't miss much when it comes to reviewing the latest models. The magazine starts with around 8-10 pages of automotive news. Being weekly this is an advantage over the monthly magazines as the news is more up to date. They provide many scoops on future models & often feature photos of cars that we will all see in a showroom in about 2-3 years time. Thier motor show reports are second to none & they constantly feature exclusives on new ideas & models. For fans of motorsport they provide about 2-3 pages every week covering rallying & Formula One.
