Plastic protection

Advantages: Protects your screen for a long time

...This pack of 3 oblong plastic sheets are advertised as screen protectors for PDA's. Whilst they are suitable for this purpose may I suggest that they can also be used to protect the screen on your mobile phone. We are all in such a rush these days that even our prized possessions just generally get thrown into our pockets or handbags. In turn they get scratched and damaged and are in desperate need of some better form of protection than the flimsy little thin protector they come with. The screen protectors I purchased cost just over £6 which is £2 each and this to many of you may indeed seem a bit pricey, myself included. This really is not the case when you consider the protection you get for your 2 quid. The sheets of plastic come oversized for all PDA's and must be cut to size making it very easy to cut one to fit...

Cheap protection for an expensive item

...Touch screen devices such as smartphones & PDAs are becoming more & more common these days. Some are finger friendly & most have a separate stylus for carrying out tasks. The screen is a very sensitive component of these devices & expensive to replace. When you tap the screen or drag the stylus across the screen you increase the chances of damaging it. I remember when I bought my first PDA, within days a tiny particle of grit landed on the screen without me knowing & after I had dragged the stylus across the screen it left a small but noticeable scratch. I had no option but to invest in screen protectors, if that is the damage after a few days what would it be like after a few years? Ghd Thermal Protector - protect your hair!

Since I use my hair straighteners pretty much everyday, I think its important to use some kind of product in order to try to protect my hair from the heat of the straighteners since it can be really damaging to hair over time. I was not disappointed with this product in the slightest and am really glad I bought it. This specific product claims to protect hair from heat from straighteners and hair appliances for temperatures up to 200'c, and it also protects hair from becoming weak. Lady Protector

...Lady Protector is a shaving mousse made by Wilkinson Sword. I saw this on the shelf at Morrrisons so I thought I would try it and see what it was like. It is obviously aimed at women and you will find it on the shelves with all the other shaving gels and mousses for women. The shaving mousse comes in a 150ml can which is white with a woman shaving her under arms on the front. There is a nozzle for the mousse to come out of with a purple see through lid. The nozzle is easy to hold down which makes it easy for the mousse to come out. I find that once you have used it the mousse does end up all around the nozzle, though that can be wiped off easily. ...I am an absolute fan of my GHD straighteners (as I think just about every girl that I talk to is) and in conjunction with them I also use the GHD thermal protector for dry and course hair. The nice thing was that a free bottle came with my GHD's when I first purchased them. That was about a year ago now and I have still not needed to buy a new bottle but it is nearly gone but I would say definitely a long lasting product. I use it every time I straighten my hair as well (twice or three times a week) so very good value. The formula also comes in packaging for normal/fine hair and weak/damaged hair. They are £9.95 from the official website but you can buy them in hair salons etc. They are generally the same price though, sometimes a bit more expensive. GHD thermal protector for normal- fine hair

...Ghd thermal protector is used to protect your hair from the heat damage caused by styling when using appliances such as a hair dryer or straightners. It can be used before, during and after styling. It protects the hair from damage by locking its mositure and nutrients into the hair. This particular pruduct I own is for normal- fine hair and consists of a light weight oil. Oh! So Thermal Protectors Do Work!

It may surprise you to learn, then, that I hadn't used one for ages before being given this free by my hairdresser (yeah, I'm still trying to work out why they gave me freebies too!). There is a reason for this - all the ones I'd tried had been rubbish! I'd had ones that made me greasy; some that made no difference whatsoever; some that made me static, but none that worked to stop my hair getting damaged. ...I was introduced to this product by a friend and also sampled it a few times so I was well aware of what i was receiving. This product is very good as is the foot protector; it thoroughly moisturises almost instantly and does exactly what it says on the packaging. I suppose its initially meant for hands that are EXTREMELY dry, but there's no harm in other peoples using it to add a tad bit of moisture! The cream has a thick consistancy and always feels cool when applied. It is green and is contained in a tin kind of tube. The price of this (£4.85) for a 30ml tube can seem quite daunting but it is worth every single penny and lasts for absolutely ages. ...This GHD hair styling product created as a thermal protector whilst using straightening irons on hair. I bought this along with my GHD Mk4's wondering how much difference it would make. I have no doubts that using this is healthy for my hair. At around £8.45 a bottle, in my opinion it is way over priced. I felt that I was paying for the name 'GHD' rather than a product which would improve the health of my hair after using straighteners everyday. On comparing this product with similar from Treseme and Lee Stafford, I feel that the GHD thermal protector is not value for money. Lee Stafford's pink range also has a far nicer smell. I believe GHD to be an extremely good quality product that is long lasting but it is possible to get very similar at a lower price....
