A natural answer

Advantages: Impressive speed, flexible, good performers
Disadvantages: Pricey, flimsy straps, poor feedback

...channeled and reduce fatigue on the diver's shins. I often suffer from cramp when wearing "conventional" fins that do not have this feature. The acceleration is very quick and the kick action can be modified to suit the diver, I now use a flutter kick, which propels me as well as a full leg kick. The twin blades are responsible for this, as they create a hydrofoil effect and maximise the amount of thrust for every fin kick. Buddies have complained that I'm too quick when wearing these, but, as ever, YMMV. DOWNSIDES The straps that came with the fins were replaced quickly with bungee cord, which allows me to get them on and off very easily and quickly. I broke a strap clip on the second day of diving and decided not to buy new ones because of the price of replacements. Scubapro updated the clips since I bought these fins and, to be quite...

Snug As A Bug In A Rug

Advantages: Full protection for your body.Outstanding value for money
Disadvantages: Only suitable really for warm water diving

...MARES Tropic 3MM Wetsuit. I am a warm water diver and decided it was about time I invested in a full wetsuit. Being female although a fairly normal 12-14 size in clothing but obviously having curves decided to follow one of the things I learnt in my PADI Open Water course and that comfort and fit were highly important so decided I should "try before I buy" so decided buying on the internet was not an option. Where Purchased From And Cost. I bought this suit at LIDS (London International Dive Show) last year at a cost of £40 which I thought was a real bargain. Why I Chose This Wetsuit. I really wanted the ScubaPro 5mm wetsuit but on trying it on it didn't fit well under the arms and it was really difficult to get on. I tried on another wetsuit of a different make but again didn't fit very well although it was a nice girly...

Open water dive course

Advantages: profeesional qualification attained, educational, value for money
Disadvantages: weather and sea conditions can affect enjoyment

...When I was planning my trip to Australia I had already decided to do a PADI approved course to learn to scuba dive. I looked at Pro-Dive on the net, a Cairns based company, because they had been recommended by the Lonely Planet guide. I booked the 5 day learn to dive course for £230 and it proved to be worth every penny. The training establishment in Cairns was first class and all the staff were very professional. We spent two days in the class room and pool learning the basics before then going on a three day boat trip to the outer reef. The boat the "Scuba-Pro" was only two years old and very clean, sleeping 36 people plus crew. The atmosphere on the boat was great and so was the food. The open water dives, four of which are necessary to obtain your PADI Open Water classification were very interesting seeing sharks, turtles...

Review of Great Barrier Reef (Dive Sites)

Much fun with Scubafun!

Advantages: very friendly and patient instructors, very individual and good classes, great diving sites
Disadvantages: none

.... I was very happy to find a mask with prescription lenses ? thus even blind me could see under water! The tanks are available with DIN or INT-valves. The regulators and BCD by Scubapro were relatively new. The divers have to assembly their equipment on their own, but it is all double-checked by the dive masters and instructors before taking off. The offers ~~~~~~~~~ With Scubafun, you can get any possible PADI-certificate from OWD to specialty programs like Underwater Photography, Drift Diving, etc. Our OWD-course takes normally 3 days, we were there in low season and took our time ? 6 days! The course is 295$ incl. all rental equipment and certification fees. Certified divers can book an excursion with 2 dives for 55 $, 3 excursions with 2 dives (=6 dives) for 156 $ or even 6 excursions with 2 dives (= 12 dives...

Snorkel City

Advantages: Good product range, good customer service
Disadvantages: poor site design

...combinations shown and a variety of prices available. Looking around the rest of the site, there seems to be a good range of products available from a variety of leading manufacturers. Brands features include: Scubapro, Sunnto, Northern Diver, Apeks, Tusa, Cressi Sub and many many more (I won?t bore you with the full list as there look like being over 40 different brands featured). ** My Account ** The ?My Account? section of the site requires you to log in and holds details on orders made through the site only. Each order made is displayed with the corresponding order number, order date and cost. Selecting an order from the list shows complete order details, including delivery address and shipping status. ** Customer Service ** Although I have only made a single (ish) purchase off this website I have had multiple contact...
