...This Panasonic SD 254 bread maker was a spur-of-the-moment impulse buy from Macro when it was on special offer about a year ago, for £50. My mother needs to eat a gluten-free diet which means she cannot eat regular bread but with this machine she has been able to create loaves both from a gluten-free bread book and also just herself from the skill she has honed with this machine. I have tried both the shop bought and homemade wheat-free bread and there is no comparison, hands down the Panasonic SD 254 wins.
When purchased the box was extremely heavy as this machine contains a lot of mixing equipment which has been cast in metal to make it will last under the pressure of mixing thick dough. Protected by polystyrene box inserts the machine came along with a small measuring cup, spoon and the usual user's guide as well as a warranty card...

Review of Panasonic SD 254
Advantages: Some great features are the optical image stabilization and Intelligent Auto (iA) technology. Disadvantages: Microphone is not in a very good place.
...The Panasonic HDC-SD20
This is a great compact high definition camcorder for the price. The small design allows for easy travel, it can fit in your purse, a large pocket and doesn't take up much room in your luggage when going on vacation. Very light weight only 270g, made of plastic, in my opinion it looks a little cheep.
However here are some great details: Full HD 1080 resolution (1920 x 1080) Has a HDMI input that allows you to connect to your HDTV so you can view your footage. You can also use the USB cable to transfer your video to your computer. This model has a 16X ( optical) zoom lens and a 40x - 1000x (digital zoom) along with Optical (lens based) Image Stabilization, great for filming objects from a distance.
The LCD screen s 2.7" and is touch screen. Once I started playing around with features and got use...
Advantages: 5 Band detection, range of use Disadvantages: A bit too sensitive at times - keeps bleeping
...Having received 2 fixed penalties for speeding in 1 month, at speeds not significantly over the limit, nor at anything like some drivers you see flying past you (but that's a different story!), I decided to buy a radar detector. The models available differ vastly in price, ranging from about £100 upto £600, with the major differences being the detection range and frequencies covered. The cheaper models only cover 4 bands, missing out the new mini-gatso cameras, so I opted for the Snooper SD815is, giving 5 band detection and good range, upto 2 miles for radar and laser guns, 600 yards for the mini gatsos and 100 yards for gatso cameras.
The unit sits on either a frame using suckers to fix to the windscreen or with a bit of velcro to attach to your dash and is powered via the fag lighter, though you can hardwire the power lead into...

Review of Snooper SD815is
Advantages: Lovely Fresh Bread Every Day!!!!! Disadvantages: Is a bit pricey!!
...Before I start on about the advantages of this bread maker, I must say that mine does not look the same as the one pictured. Mine doesn't have a window!
I had borrowed my friends bread maker which was one she bought in Woolworths for £30. I liked the idea of a bread maker as it doesn't contain all the preservatives that shop bought bread does, and I dread to think what they use to make the breads that stay fresh for a week!
After using hers I decided that I was going to splash out and by one. I deceided to go for one that had a good name and went for the breadman pro. The bread that was produced was far better than that of the cheaper model however i found that the bread was still quite moist and tasted yeasty even though I followed the instructions to the letter.
My mother in the meantime had bought the Panasonic SD-253...

Review of Panasonic SD253
Advantages: Many features, value for money, ease of installation and ability to connect amp and speakers Disadvantages: Rotary wheel can be sensitive, IPOD wont connect through USB
...What you get:
1 x Inphase head-unit
1 x Manual
1 x ISO lead
1 x Protective fascia case
I've had this head unit for a while now and it has certainly served me well. For the price I payed (£69.99) you certainly can not complain considering the amound of features you get with it:
*CD/MP3 CD player
*Radio
*SD card
*USB input
*AUX input
The cd player itself was simple to install and the instructions which you get with it, provide you with the relevent information needed.
As for sound quality and power, in my opinion you will not be disapointed. Compared with my old factory head-unit in the corsa, the in-phase made my standard factory speakers sound so much better and the bass which was being produced was pretty good as well. As for connecting items such as amplifiers and speakers to this head unit, this task is also very...

Review of In Phase IPS920SD
Advantages: sound, picture quality Disadvantages: bae unit a little large
...I've owned the Denon 500SD for the past 3 years now. I've had nothing but pleasure and an awsome sound from the unit since i purchased it. I've even expanded the unit but more on this later!
Cosmetics
The unit is visually attractive with a pale teak colour to the speakers and sub woofer (a modern look now-a-days). The metallic looking speakers stand out well from other plain black designs. The base unit is a little on the large side but still looks modern and sleek. Other owners have commented on the noisy cooling fan but i have to say i haven't noticed. The unit does get a little hot when the sound is turned up and watching a DVD.
Surround Sounds
The 500SD has various surround settings which all can be selected from the remote. These range from "music, theatre, movie etc. The main surround descriptions...
Advantages: EASY TO USE, STURDY MACHINE Disadvantages: NO DISADVANTAGES FOUND YET
...Having had the Panasonic SD53 for 18 months after recommendation from a friend we are very satisfied after having had a cheaper brand giving generally unsatisfactory results. Have had the occasional 'misfire' which can be put down to operator error- ie forgetting to put the paddle in!! but having realised the mistake and putting it in, all was well. Even after a short power cut the loaf has continued to bake ok. Ours is used every other day normally using the timer and the longer bake although the quick bake gives good results. We were dubious about leaving the water in with the yeast for a few hours before the timer starting but it has not been a problem . A good recipe book with many loaves, cakes etc. to choose from....

Review of Panasonic SD253
Advantages: Looks good, easy to use, good value for money Disadvantages: No disc resume feature
...The first thing you notice with this Toshiba SD-260 DVD Player is that it looks good, it's silver, think and looks modern and stylish. The height is 43.8 mm, width is 421 mm and the depth is 260 mm and it weighs 2.3 kg, which is fairly light. On the front it has a tray on the left, which is hidden and on the right it has 6 buttons - eject, stop, play/pause, fast forward, rewind and power. When the power button is on it lights up blue. In the middle of the player there is an LCD display where the timings and chapters of the DVD are displayed.
I decided to buy this DVD Player as it was a Toshiba, who are a respectable electronics manufacturer, so I thought I would be safe buying the product from them, and I have not been dissappointed. I have had this DVD Player for a year now and have had no problems, apart from loosing...

Review of Toshiba SD-260 E
Advantages: Great sound, great value, sturdy build, reliable Disadvantages: Realistically, none
...Well, well. I?ve just stumbled across this site and noticed a pair of Nicole SD522 active speakers that I have been using happily for over 5 years. Haven?t seen these units (or the manufacturers/suppliers name) mentioned anywhere else on the web which is a shame because they?re extremely good little speakers. Seeing as they?ve given me such good service, it?s only fair I review them and I feel as qualified as anyone to do this, as I?ve been involved with top end hi-fi systems for longer than I care to admit.
When I bought a computer 6 years ago, I needed decent speakers because the supplied set was pretty dire so I visited a local computer fair. I wasn?t expecting much and the sounds that hit me when I walked into the exhibition hall were dire - nasty plastic box speakers being driven well into distortion. But the back end of the hall...

Review of Nicole SD 522
Advantages: Variety of breads it can make, simple instructions, lovely taste, well made machine, idiot proof Disadvantages: A little bulky, can't slice bread
...When it comes to cooking or baking I am not that particularly good at it, the limits of my cooking skills are beans on toast & heating up soup from a tin. I rely totally on my better half. I heard many good reports about bread makers & decided after reading an alarming report on what is actually in an average loaf of bread that you buy in a supermarket, to start making my own.
Any bread maker I purchased would need to be utterly idiot proof, make a selection of different breads to suit the family's varied tastes & I wanted something that could be moved around the kitchen so that it doesn't take up too much space.
I purchased a Panasonic SD255 bread maker form John Lewis for £99.00, it's one of two Panasonic models they had displayed but this one had more features & could make a larger selection of breads. In size it didn't look too big...
