...This review is something of an obituary. After struggling on in various formats for a couple of years now, RI:SE is facing the axe, and will be disappearing from our screens in a few weeks? time.
Originally designed to replace the Big Breakfast in Channel 4?s 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. slot, RI:SE was a funkier, younger rival to GMTV and BBC Breakfast News. Its original ?newsdesk? style format, anchored by presenters Mark Durden-Smith and Edith Bowman, quite appealed to me, as did the news bulletins featuring the top 5 headlines for the morning. However, the format failed to capture the attention of the great British public, and the originally quite impressive array of presenters started leaving the show like rats deserting the proverbial sinking ship. Advantages: Quite, fast and efficient dishwasher, freestanding Disadvantages: Slightly high priced
.... This is an important feature as Dishwasher's that do not have this feature will leak Water in the Kitchen Area.
The disadvantage or weakness in this product is that it has a plastic holder for extra items on the top layer. The plastic looks a bit weak or not very durable.
I paid three hundred and fifty Pounds from John Lewis and it came with a two year guarantee. Please note that I am reviewing the se25m276gb model....

Advantages: great value, versatility, good feel, beautiful instrument Disadvantages: no singlecoil pickup - limits number of styles, no locking trem - if you need one look elsewhere
...In summary: a great sounding intermediate guitar, excellent bang-for-buck and a versatile range of tones.
The name PRS is usually associated with professional quality, high end electric guitars in excess of £1000 or £2000, so to see a lower priced model you'd expect PRS to be cutting an awful lot of corners, resulting in a substandard instrument. However, with the SE Custom, this is not the case.
The guitar is admittedly made with much cheaper materials than the higher up models but the trade off in sound is not as dramatic as you'd think. The guitar feels extremely solid yet surprisingly light. The neck is smooth and easy to slide across, while the tuning pegs are snug enough to hold your strings tuned. Advantages: Great film, with good acting and nice criminal masterplan Disadvantages: Possibly scary/gruesome
...I?m surprised I seem to be the first person to review the film Se7en (Seven) here on Ciao, and also that it?s classed as a ?horror?. Sure, the film features some pretty horrific stuff, but personally I?d have called it more of a crime thriller, albeit an 18-rated one with disturbing themes?
The film came out in 1995 and was directed by David Fincher. It?s rated #55 in IMDB?s top 250 films (at time of writing ? 8.3/10 viewer rating) and features a number of star names:
Morgan Freeman ? Detective Lt William Somerset
Brad Pitt ? Detective David Mills
Kevin Spacey ? John Doe
Gwyneth Paltrow ? Tracy Mills

...When you read Mani ratnam?s name as the director, you know you are in for a quality cinema. Dil se is no exception. Starring Shahrukh Khan(in his first non SRK-ish avatar),Manisha Koirala and Preity Zinta, the film is about relations between a radio presenter and a suicide bomber. Mani ratnam has two very distinct qualities: One, to extract fine performances from the actors,making them portray the characters by detaching themselves from their stardom. Two, he tackles social issues with utmost sensibility without giving it prime focus. With Dil se he succeeds in both!
The film starts off with Amar meeting Meghna(Manisha) at a train station and the mysterios nature of the girl attracts him. They bump into each other a few times and also get to spend quite a bit of time with each other during a journey. Amar doesn?t know of her profession...

Starring Mr Charisma himself, Shah Rukh Khan, the beautiful Manisha Koirala, and Preity Zinta in a supporting role, Dil Se was released back in 1998 and was directed and screen-written by Mani Ratnam. It was produced by Shekhar Kapoor, Ram Gopal Varma and Mani Ratnam. The classification for Dil Se is a 12 (although personally I felt it should have been higher due to the violence factor) and it runs for about 160 minutes. The cinematography is by Santosh Sivan and the excellent choreography is by Farah Khan and Pappu Khanna.

...Last January, after my aged Nvidia TNT2 card finally bit the dust I realized it was time to purchase a new graphics card for my own PC. I'd previously bought and tested out the Radeon 7000 from Sapphire on a different PC, due to the good results I acheived with that model, this card represented a natural progression.
The 9200SE card is by no means a top of the range model, when I purchased it it cost 37 pounds. Upon receiving it promptly through the post I proceeded to install it in the usual manner: Inserting it into one of the Agp slots on the motherboard and fastening the card using the screws supplied.
The motherboard I used it on was a cheap Syntax / PC Chips board equipped with a 4x AGP function. Just likes its lesser counterpart it possesses no manual.
The software supplied was identical to that which came with the 7000...
Advantages: Gruesome, horrible, sick - I like it! Disadvantages: Squeamish? Don't watch (but do!)
...I?ve watched Se7en before, many times, but I enjoy it every time I see it, if not more each time.
The acting in this film, contrary to some other films they?ve been in (Morgan and Pitt), was very convincing and Spacey as John Doe was typically brilliant.
INTRODUCTION
The film begins with Detective William Somerset (Morgan Freeman) preparing for his retirement and Detective David Mills (Brad Pitt) trying to make a name for himself. Somerset finds Mills nauseating and treats him with the contempt that he believes amateurish investigators deserve. Somerset, you see, is a perfectionist and prides himself on being a super sleuth whereas Mills? attitude is a little more laid back shall we say. Soon though, they find that they must put their differences aside if they are to stop psycho serial killer John Doe (Kevin Spacey) torturing...
