...I was a bit apprehensive about visiting Sea World. So many people had said to me about how cruel it is to keep animals in captivity. Having visited Sea World in Orlando, my mind has been changed. I am convinced that these animals are happy to be there, although I did feel that some of the enclosures were a little small. Sea World rescue animals, and are keen to inform the general public on caring for animals, and our ecosystem. So, here is my opinion on the park. We visited Sea World just after New Year, so we had the benefit of visiting at the quietest time of the year. Where is it? Sea World is easy to find. It is located near downtown Orlando at the intersection of Interstate 4 (I4) and the Bee Line Expressway. The park opens at 9am, and closing hours depend on the time of year. ...Both times that I have been to florida I went to Sea World on the first day, it is an amazing place and is an indication of what a great holiday is ahead. Sea World is located at the Intersection of Interstate 4 and FL 528 (the Bee Line Expressway), 10 minutes south of downtown Orlando and 15 minutes from Orlando International Airport. ...Deep Sea World in North Queensferry under the iconic Forth Railway Bridge bills itself as Scotland's national aquarium and a fun filled venue for a family day out. The aquarium is easy to reach by car with ample free parking, a nearby railway station and bus service from Dunfermline. The first thing you will have to do when you arrive, depending on the time of year, is queue up for tickets. There are markers at various points along the queue telling you how long until you will reach the door, expect to wait up to an hour at peak times. You queue along the quarry which is supposed to hold seals but was empty the last time I visited. Advantages: wonderful day
Disadvantages: quite expensive

...Sea World this is said to be the worlds most popular marine life park. Theres fun, education and marine research. It covers an area of 200 acres and is situated just off International Drive on the Bee Line 10 minutes south of downtown Orlando. It opens all year round from 9am and costs about £40.00 for adults and £30.00 for children, though when we went it was 2 days for the price of one, and there is plenty to do for 2 days. We chose to do Sea World on the last 2 days of our holiday and to be quite honest, although the park was very busy there was alot less hustle and bustle than at the other theme parks. Sea World - Nr. San Diego

Advantages: A great day out for all the family
Disadvantages: The shows were timed too close together

...and the majority enabled you to see the park in it's entirety. The facilities were good and there were lots of places to eat and drink. We did not see all of Sea World on our one day there but I doubt you could get two full days out of it. I found it an extremely good quality excursion and it beat Disney hands down for me....

Advantages: Thrilling rides, shows, as well.
Disadvantages: Don't stay open as long as other parks.

...Tired of Disney, then find the real world of live creatures. Just off of International Drive and Interstate 4. Fun for all the family. With my 2 year pass for Busch Gardens, my favourite place of all, I got 2 years at SeaWorld too. Not bad for $159 (about £100). If you are just visiting for a holiday then you will ask, 'Why is she telling us this'. Well you don't have to be a Florida resident to get great deals. If you are visiting 2 or 3 times a year, as a lot of people I meet do, then this could interest you. My husband and I visit Orlando 4 or 5 times a year. We normally have 1 day at Disney, but love to use our pass for Sea World. We can just pop in for a couple of hours and then leave. Free parking, free entrance, free trip up the Sky Tower (normally $3 - £2) plus 10% or 15% discounts on taking friends into the park, food...

Don't see Orlando without Seeing Sea World

Advantages: Relaxing and entertaining

...Chill out at Sea World Orlando. This park is so different from the others in Orlando. It offers a pleasant break from the usual hussle and bussle theme parks. My family and I, have been fortunate to go to Orlando 5 times and on the first 3 occasions we declined visiting Sea World because we were so against taking animals from their natural habitat to use them as entertainment for the crowds. How wrong were we. Sea World pride themselves on being educators in their attempt to inform the public about the plight of endangered species. They rescue animals etc in order to provide sanctury and hopefully a safe return to the wild. The whole atmosphere of Sea World is calming and relaxing. When you are walking around the park, at no time do you ever get the feeling of crowds or rushing, even on the busiest days. We love it. After...

...I recently had my honeymoon in Florida and visited most of the attractions in the area. I found Sea World much better than Disneys Animal Kingdom. We found cheap tickets on the net and managed to save quite a bit of money that way. Just put Orlando attractions in a search engine and you will be offered loads of cheap tickets. I got a 2 park ticket for Sea World and Busch Gardens, which meant we could go to the two parks as often as we liked during our 14 day stay. It cost us about £40 each for the two day ticket (not much when a ticket to Alton towers is £30 for a day!). To get there there are trolleys (busses) that run up and down international drive stopping every 200 yards. You never have to wait more than 10 mins for one.
