...If someone was going to buy me a box of chocolates, i'd think about directing them to Guylian seashells which are absolutely delicious. Guylian praline is basically the seashell chocolate concept(softish praline chocolate surrounded by a glossy harder chocolate coating) incorporated into a chocolate bar. The bar also has a raised seashell effect on the top Probably the best thing about this particular product is that you can have a little taste of Guylian chocolate without forking out for a huge box of chocs. I'm really sorry but i'm not sure of the exact price, but think it's just a tiny bit more expensive than other chocolate bars on the market but you wouldn't be spending more than 60p TASTE & TEXTURE : All important to us chocolate lovers! ...’s box. These were sold at £2.89. I know a bit too pricey for a box of chocolates, especially when they had a 500g of Maltesers besides them for the same price! I decided after a minute thinking that my brother would be sick of Malteser’s and the taste and texture of the seashells are so much more worth getting, I bought them. In a 250g box of seashells you get 22 pieces of Belgian Chocolate seashells. Each seashell has a unique shape and look, which is precisely made. The outer layer of chocolate is made by moulding two halves of a shell, then stuck together with a praline filling. The outer layer has different tones of brown and white to give a tonal quality to the shells, making them look realistic. ...Cadburys marble, well what can you say it has only been around a year or so but it is absolutely heavenly. it is very like another of my favourite, belgium chocolate seashells. It has the rich taste marbled with White and milk belgium chocolate and is available in small bars or in bags. the trouble with it is the bars are so small that it leaves you wanting more!! and at around 36p a bar its not cheap. I would prefer if you could buy it in family size bars as you can with other kinds, so if anyone from cadburys reads this " I want Bigger bars!!!" ...I was first introduced to these around 3 years ago and I have been in love with them ever since! They are my FAVOURITE chocolates! To me, no other chocolates even compare to them, but I am also rather partial to Galaxy Chocolate, which also include Ripples! Hehe! I suppose that telling your boyfriend that these are your favourite chocolates is a bad idea as when the annoy you they know to buy these and it will make it all better! Oh dear, however they aren’t exactly cheap chocolates so it does put him out of pocket! And they don’t get off quite so easy! Also, eatig too many of these chocolates might turn you a bit podgy! ~~~How can I spot them?~~~ Well, there are a variety of styles that The Guylian Seashells come in, little boxes, medium boxes, large boxes and in a tin! Advantages: The most delicious chocolate out there
Disadvantages: Fattening and expensive

.... This makes them ideal for present and as 'love tokens'. There are two main drawbacks about Guylian, although these dont put me off. The first is that they can be expensive - prices range depending where you buy them from, but a standard box of 22 can cost around five pounds. They go very fast (obviously!) The other drawback is that nowhere on the box does it state how fattening they are. If you are a calorie counter, this presents a problem. I personally like to know just how bad for me what I'm eating is, so this is always an annoyance! If you have not yet tried Guylian seashells, then I highly recommend it. Flavours ~~~~~~~ Chocolate - if you want a chocolate fix Beligan Chocolate - for that luxury feel Hazelnut - its like drinking beligan seashells (my personal favourite, if I'm feeling down this always picks me up). Mint - very nice, abit like a mint kit kat Chocolate & Orange - if Terrys chocolate orange is your thing then this one is for you Toffee - I haven't tried this one but sure its nice if you are a fan of Toffee Turkish Delight - not a fan of Turkish delight so haven't reied this one. Vanilla - another great flavour a one to pick you up if feeling a little low Price ~~~~ For a sachet (11g - 13.5g) its around 22p so bad, but look out for special offers. ...Sorry, Lostwitness another disappointingly inviting title on something pretty prosiac. My friend and I used to buy Guylian chocolates in twos or threes from a counter in a Dublin store. She remarked to me once {in a comparison between choccie and oral sex) that these were, "Like but not like" - do you know what I mean? My husband just bought me a 250g/8.82oz box of Guylian seashell chocolates in Sainsbury's - I suspect for £3-4. They are very milky and rich and the box I have contains 22 chocolates shaped like mussels, seahorses, clams, prawns, and winkles. Each choc is exquisitely shaped/carved and 10 are light milk chocolate and the others are richer, darker chocolate. The outer casing is firm and the inside softer but not quite as soft as truffles - praline to be exact. They are superior chocolate though. Guylian makes packs... Read review

...as some cream shades often do. It was whilst looking at a local decorating shop in the city centre that we found the perfect shade, not too dark, not too light, not too brown, yellow or white. The paint shade was what's called seashell and came in a 2.5 litre plastic can for the price of £7.99. There are many colours to choose from and from what I seen on the shelf they had matt and silk finishes to choose from, I am also sure that they had a bigger size can but as to what the price for larger sizes was, I am not too sure I would say that it would probably be around £12.99. Well that's the cream sorted and now for the tricky bit, purple. With purple being such a wide spectrum of colour and a variety of shades there was no definite pre-produced shade that we thought would reflect our personalities. ...the chocolate bar underneath and the words Sainbury’s Belgian Seashell Bar written in silver and white with a gold seashell next to it. The back of the bar contains ingredients and nutritional information. I unwrap the first layer to find a second layer of matt silver paper underneath and unwrap that to find the bar. At fifty grammes it is a chunky little bar, about ten centimetres long and a centimetre and a half tall. It has a marbled effect of white and milk chocolate and is split into six sections with nine thin lines etched in patterns of three on each section. Inhaling deeply I can smell the sweet and chocolatey smell of the cocoa butter – it’s a much more milky and creamy smell than the slightly bitter smell that darker chocolate has. *mmm time to taste* I break a section off to reveal the inside, as described on the front of the bar... ...4 chunks – noticeably fewer than Galaxy or Dairy Milk, but at least an even number, making sharing easier if you’re stupid like that. Each one is a smooth light brown – the colour of quality milk chocolate – and is topped with a marbled seashell appliqué, very similar to the seashells you get when you buy a box. Very pretty they look, too. Inside, the filling is a hazelnut praline, exactly the same as you get when you buy a box. It is posh-tasting - rich and the right level of sweetness, and divinely smelling. Pieces melt in your mouth into smooth liquid form without any nasty grainy bits and, speaking from experience, it is quite easy to scoff a whole bar in a lift as it travels between floors 1 and 5 of a Holborn testing centre.
