...I bought my Toledo TDi back in early 2004, it had 38k miles on the clock and was in very good condition. This is her story..... From the moment I set eyes on her I was impressed, sleek, curvacious and to some extent, sporty looking were my first impressions. I'd never taken any notice of seats before then apart from the Ibiza I learned to drive in so I'd not really looked at buying one. I saw her for sale at a local garage and thought i'd take a closer look. My partner at the time and I were expecting our first child, at the time I was driving a Rover 220SD and although it had 5 doors, it wasn't the roomiest car I'd been in. Seat Toledo SE TDi

Advantages: Massive boot, excellent fuel economy
Disadvantages: Slightly cramped rear cabin, poor opening to boot

...This is by far the best car I have ever owned. With two young children I had to ditch the coupe's I had previously owned and buy something sensible. Worse still, something economic too! The Toledo is fantastic, fuel economy is brilliant - on an 800 mile trip to Ireland and back fully laden with 4 adults and 1 child and all their luggage the Toledo averaged 58mpg (we weren't hanging about either). The car is loaded with kit that costs an arm and a leg elsewhere - side airbags, cruise control, alloy wheels, trip computer, 6 disc CD changer, height / reach adjustable steering - the list goes on and on! The boot is massive although the opening could do with being a bit wider as I sometimes find it difficult to load our pram. Performance is good although I think Seat should bring the 150 BHP engine available...

Seat Toledo 1.9 Tdi SE -

Advantages: Economy in Fuel, Insurance and Servicing, while giving executive car feel.
Disadvantages: Many people still regard SEAT marque with some skepticism.

...Having previously owned a new Freelander from Land Rover, and been totally disgusted with just about everything on that vehicle... (it was never out of the workshop being repaired under the warranty)... I thought I would opt for a saloon car once again, and was impressed by the reviews I read about the Toledo. Obviously with the price differential, I could afford a little luxury, so I ordered my car with just about every extra I could have - from leather seats, to sat-nav and so on. Toledo but not quite a tornado

Advantages: Heaps of room, a bit different
Disadvantages: Not quite as sporty as it could have been; some might not like its looks

...We have always liked the Seat Altea, and having visited a local dealer we decided that we preferred the Toledo due to the extra boot space - basically the Toledo is identical in every way to the Altea, but with an extended boot. We went for a 12 month old 2.0Fsi model, with 9000 miles on the clock, for £10,500 (bargain). The back-end of the Toledo might not be to everyone's taste due to the way the boot juts out, but the rest of the car is very good looking, especially the front. The car is very high so there is loads of vertical space inside - I'm 6'6" and still have a few inches above my head, which scrapes the ceiling of most cars. This is NOT an MPV but some places have been quoted as calling it a "mini MPV". The Toledo is built on the same chassis and engine as the Audi A3 and Golf "plus", so reliability isn't a worry. As...

I Love my 2005 Toledo automatic TDi

Advantages: Fast, reliable, smart looking,
Disadvantages: Tyres/wheels are not the best at gripping the road, power outlet is not in a very good place

The Toledo is a solidly built car and very robust, you can see at a glance that the safety features are in abundance from the airbags allround to the solid reinforced pillars and high lefel doors. Reliability/speed We have found the Toledo to be exceptionally reliable and ready to go when we are. The Toledo is really fast and will get upto speed really fast. Cosi little seat!

...I was recommended to buy this car seat by a friend and now I can see why they rated it so highly. Which magazine have rated Maxi Cosi as one of their safest car seats and it's been a great buy for us. The seat itself is very well padded and comes with a head hugger which has extra padding on it which is velcroed on. You easily detach this once your baby has out grown it. The head hugger is really great though for when your baby is tiny. It gives that extra comfort and support which a newborn needs. The head hugger stayed in our car seat until our baby was 5 months old. The padding around the rest of the seat is really sound comfortable but not so overly padded that it seems too soft and therefore not safe. Rangemaster toledo 110 cooker

Advantages: Looks really smart and efficient

...We bought a rangemaster toledo 110 cooker for our new kitchen earlier this year. We decided on the colour of silver rather than stainless steal as this is easier to clean and wipe. The double oven is brilliant and practical. One is fan assisted so is really fast the other is just conventional. They are both large and can easily cook Christmas dinner for a family of 14. Both have large windows on the doors which is brilliant for checking on foods. Built in oven lights too. It also has a separate built in grill. If you need to grill something small you just switch on half the grill - how cool is that? The built in hob on top is lovely. We have electric so naturally have a ceramic hob. This too is easy to clean. There are 6 halogen rings. Two of which you can half on or full on. Beware of scratches though on the g;ass hob. All in all...

It clips onto a base which is attached to your car, This makes it easy to get the car seat in and out of the car without waking up the baby. ...I bought this when I had my baby as it was apparently the best on the market and I really can't find fault with it at all it has been the most reliable of our baby products and can't rate it highly enough. This car seat is different from others as it is suitable for up to 9 months whilst the majority of others are just up to 6 months. The seat is well padded and has a 'head hugger' so it is safer for newborns. This headhugger can then be removed once your baby is big enough. The straps also can be adjusted once your baby grows so that it is still safe and comfortable. The straps are easy to use- at first they were fiddly but once you have the hang of them then you know what you're doing they're easy! once you have strapped your baby in you then pull on the straps to make them tight so that your baby is safetly in place...
