Lightish (lighter than my old sanyo and my kirby), excellent suction for cleaning as good as a kirby as I have to deal with dog and cat hairs as well as family. Easy to put together. Throw away your bagless cleaners and get one of these. No more dust flying into your face and if like me you empty contents into a bag before disposing it in the bin then what's the point of bagless? Automatic shut down if clumsy like me and vacuum things up that suddenly appear from nowhere! A 5 year parts and labour guarantee if still unsure but from all the reviews I've read you won't need to use it.. I also visited stores to have a closer inspection and one of them actually used this model in the store what more of a recommendation can you get than that....

Sebo Vaccum

Advantages: Great on pet hair

...After years of thinking that Dysons were the only vaccum cleaners to own I finally gave up on them & bought this Sebo and I haven't looked back since. Excellent on polypropane carpets if you own animals especially those that shed alot of hair. Easy to use if you are taller than average no bending backs and the bag is still not full after 2 months of daily cleaning after 2 boys, 2 medium dogs & 3 cats. Nice long lead so you dont have to keep unplugging it when you move about the house. The only thing I would suggest is purchasing the extension hose if you have stairs as the one supplied is a little short. I love this vaccum and I would never buy another dyson!! But I would buy another Sebo....

Sebo Felix - Red Carpet Cleaning!

Advantages: Lays flat, light weight, powerful, attractive, changable heads, good reach

...This is surely the greatest home vacuum cleaner around! It was recommended to me by local shop who told me that they had been given one as a demo and had thrown away their commerial cleaner! The head is removable so that you may hoover the stairs less its weight. The nozzle has a long range and a carpet attatchment which is ideal for carpeted stairs. I am able to vacuum under all of my setees due to the excellent "lay-flat" nature of the Sebo. On turning the vacuum cleaner on it automatically pulls away itself...this makes for amazing cleaning of the carpets (makes hoovering so much easier too!!) Advantages: Great vaccum cleaner, picks up EVERYTHING
Disadvantages: can be a little heavy, wiring can be stripped easily.

...I have a part time job as a cleaner whilst I am studying at university and this is the vacuum I use. I can't tell you where to buy it or how much it costs to buy or maintain since I just don't know but I can give an honest opinion of it since I have used this for over 2 years now. This vacuum will pick up anything. At home I have a Dyson which most people think are great- SEBO is out of its league! In the place I work people bring in a lot of dirt on shoes, sand and sometimes guide dog hair and I have never had a problem with any of this. I have never had the brush stick with hair which is a particular problem with my Dyson. The vacuum glides across the floor when on and I have no problems with it. I am however young and male and I feel that those who are older and (without being sexist) girls may find it quite heavy to use...

...Right, those members remembering Hoover Juniors, will know they are a bog standard little vaccuum, correct so far. What has changed is the design, gone is the functional practical austere look, this is the new Doctor Who of cleaners. This is the new improved "Hoover with attitude" It looks modern, stylish even, and I dare say designers have been briefed to give it a sort of "In your face image". While I have absolutely nothing against the idea of a household appliance being trendy, or even cool, I just think that we should keep out feet on the ground. "It is only a vaccuum cleaner" nothing more, nothing less. Weight is only 3.8 Kgs, very light for this type of appliance. Availability is good, you will find them everywhere. Probably the vest vacuum cleaner I have ever used.

Advantages: Picks up everything
Disadvantages: Extending hose could be longer, but you can purchase an extension.

...I was fed up buying new vacuum cleaners almost every 18 months. I tried both Hoover and Exlectrolux and am not impressed by either! I have used a Dyson and whilst it seemed good at the time, after using my Sebo, a Dyson seems mediocre! The Sebo x1.1 is sort of flat packed when delivered and must be assembled before use. There are only 4 major parts and with concise instruction supplied, is very easy to put together. Once done, just pop in a bag and you are good to go. Yes, this cleaner uses bags and thank goodness I say. The bagless cleaners I have used have been very poor - what dust they expel! I would say it probably takes me about three months to fill a bag and even when almost full, there is very little difference in suction power.
