A second chance for old friendships!

...I'd read a couple of books by Jane Green which I had hugely enjoyed so I was really looking forward to reading Second Chance and I was not disappointed! It was a hugely enjoyable read from the very first page based on a group of characters that it was really easy to get to know! The story centres on a group of people who were all friends while they were growing up but have since lost touch. The sudden and tragic death of one of them throws them all back together again at his memorial service and gives them a 'second chance' to renew their friendships. What they discover is, that even though they have not seen each other for years, the thing that makes them friends in the first place is the same thing that draws them back together again! Everyone deserves a second chance

Advantages: Easy to read and enjoyable 'beach' book
Disadvantages: None

...I have always been a fan of Jane Green's books and have not found one that I didn't like. I try and get hold of a copy of any of her new books as soon as they are published in paperbacks as I can't stand the hardbacks! After waiting a little while longer due to lack of funds I finally got hold of 'Second Chance' and then after waiting again to find time to sit down and read I managed to finally finish the book a couple of days ago and so thought I would share my thoughts on this book. The author: Jane Green has written quite a few books now and they are all the 'chick lit/romance' type of books. She originally wrote for the Daily Express newspaper and became a writer when she wrote her first book 'Straight Talking' which ended up being a huge success. Dont Take a Second Glance at this Book!

...Second glance by Jodi Picoult????? I am an avid reader and since finding Jodi Picoult I have enjoyed ever single one of her books. Her stories are often of subjects which occur in peoples lives and are often quite tricky to deal with. She sets a lot of her books in court rooms and the stories lead up to particular court cases. This book "Second Glance" however is a lot different to her usual books and I can say I don't think she has done herself proud. The story is set in a small town in Vermont, America and is bases around the lives of several people including that of Ross Wakeman a ghost hunter who is trying to find the spirit of his lost love. A second chance for your data

Advantages: A great tool for copying and backing up your data and documents
Disadvantages: None really

...backup solutions there really is no excuse not to. If you?re not doing any backups at the moment read on - if you are well read on anyway. I personally now use a utility called Second Copy at both home and work and I will describe why using both my scenarios. Of course other options are available to protect your data - some of the online backup solutions (such as Mozy for instance) are excellent and can now replace utilities like this to certain extent. However these online solutions do come at a cost and can actually be added to your backup solution to make it even better. I will explain more on this later. ...Rimmel 60 seconds has been out for quite a while now, but it is a great product! I actually have this shade shown in the picture, it is 610 Pompous if you are keen! Why is this a good product? First of all, Rimmel is a very trustworthy brand and I would imagine they have very great customer satisfaction. The product itself has a pro-cision brush. This is a good idea because it makes it a lot more accurate and proffesional. These nail varnishes also come in lots of different colours which is useful if you are trying to find one to match an outfit! Rimmel even do a French manicure section! Where do I find this? This nail varnish can be found at any leading beauty store and they do tend to sell it in Tesco, Morrison's, Sainsbury's and Asda! Seconds Out Round Two

Advantages: Superb document of the bands material pre "And Then There Were Three"
Disadvantages: Nothing

...", but I'm not a great fan of editing down tracks, especially an epic like this one. Talking of epics the stand out feature of the second disc is the twenty four minute "Suppers Ready" always a staple of the Gabriel era and still an in concert favourite after his departure. The final of "Dance on a Volcano" and "Los Endos" is stunning featuring a lot of noise and some excellent percussion. The problem was that this album was so good, that the next studio excursion, "And Then There Were Three" should have been excellent...as you know from my previous op, in my opinion, it was rubbish. Don't let that put you off checking out this absolutely excellent live album....
