Small Medium and Large SD Cards!
Advantages: Lots of flexibility with devices
Disadvantages: Micro Size can be a bit fiddly
...You probably own a device of some sort that requires a flash memory card of some sort and more than likely its an SD (Secure Digital) style card. For a few years now SD memory cards have been one of the most popular methods of storage for digital cameras and some mobile phones. However, as all technology shrinks down, unfortunately so do the memory cards. Therefore a lot of of new phones require a "Micro" or "Mini" SD card.
Sounds ok but does that mean your existing card reader (That takes standard SD types of card) is now obsolete?
No, not at all!
The clever bods over at Kingston decided that they could make their new Micro SD cards backwards compatible for standard and Mini SD sizes by selling them with a pair of handy adapters.
Yes, when you buy the Kingston Micro SD, the card itself will fit into all of your Micro SD powered...

Kingston Jamaica? Hull? Thames? Nah SD cards! ..
Advantages: Ease of use
Disadvantages: Ease of losing
.... .
These are 2 gb SD memory cards made by Kingston, SD being short for Secure Digital, and I can't believe there has not been a review already done. I have just tried to get onto their website, but to no avail, will try later.
These cards are a solid state storage system for information, it is as simple as that
The price is competitive, expect to pay up to £16, and you can get them for less from various companies on the internet., Remember this is excluding P&P of course. You can buy them on the high street, but at a higher price. These are often described as the "Postage stamp" size cards. The size is one inch by three quarters, or 19 x 24mm.
You also have the option of going for non-branded merchandise, although I would not advise anything but the original stuff in my own camera. You are then safe in the knowledge that you...

Small and Dinky
Advantages: cheap, hi-capacity storage for cameras and PDAs
Disadvantages: small, easily misplaced
...This is a review of the Kingston MINI-SD Secure Digital card, Kingston p/n SDM/1GB. The first picture above shows a blue "standard", not "mini" SD card and is a little misleading (thank you, Ciao)... the actual device under review is shown at the end of this review (or possibly as the second photo above if Ciao's photo selector is working).
***Geek warning: This review contains some seriously beep-bop technical guff, so if you are not of a technical bent, skip to the last 2 paragraphs, and photos, now! ***
One definition of a typical SD, or "Secure Digital", card: an attempt by some storage manufacturers to oust the more common disk drive, as a storage medium, from the ever-increasing plethora of hand-held devices that can store pictures, music, video, electronic files or e-mail... A primary argument for the widespread use...

Carry Case Classic SD Card!
Advantages: Carry Case, adapters, storage space, speed,
Disadvantages: Small and fiddly
...Most people have devices such as digital cameras or mobile phones today that require additional memory. This normally comes in the shape of a memory card. While there are a few options around, one of the most popular over recent years has been the SD card style.
However, with all modern technology, they strive to make things smaller and smaller. Enter the Micro SD card!
My Micro SD card was required by my XDA Orbit phone. Looking at the size of the opening in my phone, one thing struck me about the card required. It was going to be small and fiddly. That is exactly what it is. Small and fiddly to handle. You need to be very careful not to lose it as it weighs very little and its also very thin and fragile. However, the option that comes from Kingston helps you out with a handy carry case for when it is not being used.
The clear...

Even small can be beautiful
Advantages: Easy to use, easy transfer, does what it's meant to do
Disadvantages: none to speak of
...As I have mentioned in earlier reviews I am the owner of several memory storing devices which I use on a regular bases both for work and for pleasure, (they are less bulky and a lot quicker than CD/DVDs or even external hard drives come to that).
Anyway, one of the devices I hold dear to me is the Bystor Micro-SD card with adapter and USB reader.
This little devilish device helps me store such things as photographs, videos, music and much more on my mobile phone, more for pleasure than for business.
**WHAT IS IT..?
It is basically a small memory module, about 1/6 the size of a normal SD card, which fits into several different types of mobile phones to help expand the memory on your phone.
It comes in various storage sizes dependent on what your actual mobile phone is capable of taking.
This particular module is known as...

Sandisk 8GB micro SD card
Advantages: Large memory capacity, durable for its size, very reliable
Disadvantages: None really apart from it being quite small
...The Sandisk Micro-SDHC Secure Digital 8192 MB (8 GB) memory card is known as an SD micro card, basically because SD memory cards are the smallest you can currently purchase. It measures in at 15mm x 11mm and comes with an adapter when you purchase the card.
The Micro SD card format is used mainly for mobile phones, because of the sheer size and the cards ability to hold huge amounts of data. Although, mainly built for mobile phone use, SD micro cards like the Sandisk Micro SD 8 GB can be used in devices such as hand-held GPS devices, portable audio players, video game consoles and numerous other devices.
With the 8 GB of storage space, you can hold thousands of songs (approximately 2000), thousands of photos as well as hundreds of videos and other files. When you purchase the 8GB SD micro memory card you get an adapter with it...

Fast Access SD Card
Advantages: 4GB, ESP Technology, RescuePRO
Disadvantages: None
...The Sandisk Extreme III 4 GB Compact Flash Card is ideal for digital camera's and camcorders. I needed some extra memory for my digital camera so bought this.
Sandisk have a good reputation in developing flash memory cards so I thought I would go for this. With my digital camera I had a supplied 1GB card which to be honest isn't much when taking high resolution photos, it fill up pretty quick.
The Sandisk SD card is a good size at 4GB storage. It also has ESP technology which basically allows data on the card to be accessed quicker. This is great for fast loading especially when taking photos with a digital camera, as the last thing you want is to wait 1 min to just see the photos you just shot. This simply makes everything that little bit quicker. It can actually access your data at an incredible speed of 20MB per second...

Logitech Digital Security System.
Advantages: nice idea
Disadvantages: not reliable
...Logitech Digital Security System.
I recently purchased the 'Master' outdoor system and the indoor system. I thought it was very expensive (£ 400.0 for the two) but as it was made by Logitech I thought it would work and be of good quality. I was rather surprised when I opened the master box to find that it was going to cost me even more to get the full system as I had to subscribe for extras such as zoom and extra web services. I set the system up and it worked fairly well, except that the picture quality was poor and the video was slow. It ran for two weeks and I was able to view my home from anywhere through my mobile phone. However, yesterday it stopped working, I don't know why. No pictures were received in the main PC. I re-booted. I un-plugged and re-plugged the cameras, still no pictures. So that was it. No more checks. It...

Fujifilm - Where would I be without it?
Advantages: Holds so much information and photos
Disadvantages: Small in size, may need to buy a case to prevent loss & damage.
...store? But what I do know is that technology at the moment is amazing. As from several weeks ago, I did not own a digital camera, and I am glad I do, because I get to use this small electronic card that will store all my snaps without loosing any of picture quality. The card is safe, and not easy to loose the pictures.
The card can be used for many things. Alot of electronic objects require memory, or a place to store all the information or data. The Fujifilm SD card can be used in many of the electricals as they are quite a popular brand in photography. I had never been eager to use their products, but now I have used one of their products I would not mind trying out some more. I use this card in my digital camera. My camera is 6 megapixels which means, the higher the megapixel, the more memory it needs. Average digital cameras people own...
