Kaspersky Internet Security - average protection

Advantages: Provides basic tools for anti virus, easy to install
Disadvantages: none really, just prefer AVG.

...As a university student we have to pay a rediculously high amount for tuition fee's so the college I am doing my foundation degree in offers free laptops for the duration of the course. The laptop comes fully equipped with Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 and it really does the job. Most anti virus software is available for free with the opportunity to upgrade however it is worth it from a business perspective, to buy something like this. ...I recently moved my little boy (21 months) from a cot to a bed and as he?s such a fidgety sleeper we felt a bed safety guard was a must. After looking around at the various bed guards available I decided on the Tomy Soft Bed Guard, based on several factors:  This was one of the few bed guards that was suitable for a slatted bed ? my son has a cot bed and so it has a slatted base.  It comprises a soft mesh panel (similar to the Tomy stair gates) and so I felt he was less likely to wake himself up/hurt himself if he rolled into it in the night. He also as he has a tendency to drum his feet against the ends of his bed when he wants attention which he wouldn?t be able to do against the mesh.  It easily folds down whilst on the bed for reading bedtime stories and folds up small for going on holiday...

Oh it's a banana guard, you're not just pleased to see me!

Advantages: Stops the banana getting mushed, lightweight
Disadvantages: Not always nessisary as a banana has inbuilt protection

...I bought a banana guard for my brother who is a keen off road cyclist and always has a pocket full of fruit to keep him going. It comes in a variety of colours, and incredably fits almost all bananas. Personally I went with the glow in the dark version as I figured anyone who needs additional banana protection could probably use protection suitable for all conditions! I have found it great the days I have used it for taking my banana to work, however my brother has complained that the smaller bananas rattle within the guard when he is out riding and end up a little mushy. For this reason I think that the guard is suitable for conditions that might require moderate damage to the banana, such as in a handbag or briefcase, however if it is unlikely to get directly bumped, but might be moving a lot, as is the case with cycling, horse riding...

A simple security light for the garden

Disadvantages: It isn't very bright but it is adequate
