...Released in April this year See the Light is the second album of The Hours, after the debut in 2007 with Narcissus Road was not that phenomenal but it was definitely a triumph of integrity, a rare thing in contemporary music and mixed anger and intellect with intellect. Their word and songs epitomizes contempt for the status quo existining in the society and all our parts in it. You have to admire the album that smells of lonely bed-sit confessions. In fact only once, on Car Crash does it recall Narcissus Road's introverted pessimism. Anthony Genn is an industry veteran who has the experience of working with Joe Strummer, Pulp and UNKLE and Slattery was on keyboards for Black Grape. see no evil hear no evil

Advantages: good entertainment and some funny scenes
Disadvantages: some people may not like it.

...with Dave hearing nothing, only seeing a long legged lady leaving the store and Wally seeing nothing but hearing the gunshot and an exchange of voices the pair must stick together to prove their innocence. As the pair flee from the law, trying to prove their innocence by tracking down the real killer little do they realise that the real killers, Eve, (played by Joan Severance) and Kirgo, (played by Kevin Spacey), are looking for them. The chase goes on. **IN CONCLUSION** Not the greatest of movies but the repartee between Pryor and Wilder can be hilarious. What Can You See?

Advantages: Encourages participation, teaches children the names of animals
Disadvantages: Some very young children may associate the words with the sounds that animals make!

Seeing Sounds? You What?

Advantages: Very original
Disadvantages: Possibly too experimental at times

..."Seeing Sounds" is the third album by N*E*R*D (Noone Ever Really Dies), who were said to have broken up a couple of years ago. Obviously, the rumours were not true, so Chad Hugo, Shay Haley and Pharrell Williams return with their Hip Hop-influenced Funk Rock music, but they are not concerned about rigidly sticking to any genre. Hugo and Pharrell make up The Neptunes, one of the biggest names in music production in any genre. Their beat making has been hear across the board from Hip Hop, to Pop, to R&B, and towards the end of the ninties and start of the '00s they managed to dominate airwaves with their distinctive spacey beats being heard everywhere. Pretend You Don't See Her is a murder mystery book, full of suspense that was published in 1997. Mark Higgins Clark is a US author, born in 1924. According to a biography I read about her, as of 2007 she has written twenty-four suspense novels which have sold over 80 million copies in the United States. Pretend you don't See Her features Lacey Farrell in the main role. She is in real-estate but on one unfortunate day whilst showing a luxurious skyline co-op, she witnesses a murder and actually spies the attacker. She manages to hear the dying words of the victim (Isabelle Waring) who gives her a copy of her dead daughter's journal which she believes hold clues about the killer. Advantages: An insight into a unique way of life
Disadvantages: Not the greatest work of literature - but that's not the point

...Sangay Wangchuk, orphaned at six months, grew up with his grandmother and his aunt on the family farm in Punakha - probably sometime during late 1950s/early '60s (I'm guessing & may be doing him a disservice!) - at a time when Bhutan was still closed to the rest of the world. See you in the Morning? Yes, you probably will!

Advantages: Lots of feel good tracks
Disadvantages: Not as good as previous releases

...Mint Royale - See you in the Morning Mint Royale are a Big Beat Electronic style group which came together back in 1997. They started off just doing remixes of songs but later produced their first album in 1999 On The Ropes and releasing the first chart single Don't Falter featuring Lauren Laverne. Their second album Dancehall Places (my favorite) released in 2002 featured songs such as The Sexiest Man in Jamaica and the Blue Song. ...Thinking back to when I was a nipper I have always liked watching films.My favourite genre without a doubt as to be comedy and over the years there has been a mixture of some comedy geniuses as well as some howlers that are never heard of again. Well see no evil hear no evil is one of them cmic gems that you could watch over and over again and not tire from it. The two main stars of the film, Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder are both wonderful and self established stars with an irreplacable chemistry, and that chemistry is utilized very well throughout. Of course, the brilliantly original premise helps as well. A blind guy and a deaf guy who pair up to solve a murder? Classic! That premise is used wonderfully.
