St Tropez Self Tan

Advantages: Great colour and very even colour
Disadvantages: Takes time and alot of effort

..., and in my opinion looks a really natural colour. It?s great because if you want a really deep tan you can build it up by applying it on consecutive days but I have always found it to look dark after just one day. It is relatively un messy to use because its so thick it doesn?t drip on the floor like sprays can but you have to wash you sheets every time you use it and you do feel really sticky all evening with it on. Trust me you won?t be popping out anywhere once you?ve put it on, you will not want to be seen. It is relatively good value for money, depending on how much you use it. Fake tan is really high maintenance so be prepared to spend hours exfoliating and moisturising. Fake Bake - The best fake tan out there!

Advantages: AMAZING COLOUR! No smell, Easy to apply, Long lasting

...because if you do it the other way round you are left with stubbles of hair from where you exfolaited the dead skin cells off and the hair appears almost instantly! When this is done put body cream on all over so that your skin isn't dry and can absorb the tan properly, put quite a bit n the elbows and knee's as these are alot drier! Then PUT THE GLOVES ON! If you don't do this then you will end up with orange hands. I always start on the legs, it dosen't matter where put a biggish blob ( about the size of 10p) on your hands and then rub it in the skins until it is absorbed. TIP 1: If after it is sunk in and the colour is not much difference at all, put some more on. Dont be worried! I done this the first time to be safe but I had no tan at all when it washed off! Then go to the stomach and try to do the bottom of your back as well...

...I bought St Tropez Self Tan Lotion, after reading many reviews swearing that it was the best self tan product they had ever used. I was excited that finally, I might be able to have a natural, flawless tan instead of a patchy orange disappointment. St Tropez Self Tan Lotion turned out to produce the latter result. I shaved my legs the day before, exfoliated in the morning (especially my knees, wrists, hands, ankles, feet), moisturised about 3 hours before, and then applied the product using gloves and mixing with a small amount of moisturiser around my ankles, knees, feet, elbows, wrists, hands. It took a long time to apply, because even though I could see where I was putting it, the self tan didn't seem to want to stay on, I didn't even rub it in, but it started clumping together and then drying leaving some of that area white...

Advantages: Bottle last a long time
Disadvantages: Tan can wash off very easily

...When using this product you had to start in stages by doing a small section at a time. I found it was easier starting with the legs and spraying the product onto my leg then using an old sponge to spread it around as this product stains your hands terribly. It gave you a very good overall tan, although you needed to be sure you had covered all areas. I thought I had covered my feet an ankles well until the product had completely dried and I realised I had patches. I feel this is a good tanning product and the tan is very natural, however it washes off very easily and rubs of when near clothing. The bottle lasts a long time but dont quite feel it is worth the money as there is better products out there which are less hassle....
