Sennheiser CX 300
Advantages: Sound quality, bass, ability to block out background noise
Disadvantages: Very flimsy for the price and no case included
...I bought these roughly a year ago and they only lasted a few months.
The sound quality is very, very good. Having been stuck using the basic iPod earphones prior to these, the CX 300 were a refreshing change. The bass on them is certainly more than adequate. Although some in-ear headphones don't block out background noise very well you won't have that problem with these. As long as you have the correct sized cover on the headphones the background noise will be blocked out completely meaning you can have your mp3 player on below half max volume and hear the music very clearly.
Prior to these I'd never used in-ear headphones before and was somewhat concerned as to whether they'd be to hard and rough on my ear. The Sennheiser however are very soft, not too large and quite easy to use.
So, why didn't they last me very long? The wire...

Sennheiser CX300 - a great upgrade earphone
Advantages: Great sound clarity, very comfortable
Disadvantages: Higher frequencies not as refined as other earphones
...Listening to music... a great British pastime, and something I enjoy every day. It comes as no surprise, mainly because it has been said many times before, that the earphones bundled with the iPod, or any MP3 player, are not brilliant. The iPod earphones are better then most, but for a small investment you can get a lot more music for your money.
Sennheiser are well known for their high quality offerings, but this needn't break the bank. Their CX300 earphones weigh in at under £20 and are available in either black, white or silver. They come supplied nicely packaged with small, medium and large ring adaptors for a comfortable fit. Of the three colours I really like the black, which are accented with silver rings.
Being the in-ear type of headphone, comfort is very important. Out of all the earphones I have tried, these win...

Sennheiser CX300 in-ear headphones.
Advantages: Cancel out background noise, comfortable to wear, enhances listening experience
Disadvantages: None
...I'd just recently bought a new mp3 player and after shelling out quite a lot of money for it, I didn't want to be let down to poor sound quality of the packaged headphones.
After doing some research online, I decided to get a pair of Sennheiser CX300's. I have to say they are fantastic. They come with 3 sets of earbuds in different sizes, experiment and find out which are most comfortable in your ears.
They are very easy to wear- I forget I'm wearing them half the time! And the sound....well the sound is amazing. I can hear tracks on my mp3 player far more clearly and defined. They cancel out a lot of backround noise too- the early morning commutes on a packed bus have never been so peaceful.
All in all I love them. Definately worth the £20 or so price tag. I let my brother borrow them one day and he ended up buying...

CX300 Headphones from Sennheiser - Theyre good
Advantages: Noise cancelling, good quality sound, deep bass,
Disadvantages: Would be better if cord entered from end of earpiece.
...I did a lot of research before plumping for the CX300's and I have not been disappointed with my choice. The sound quality is excellent both at the high and low ends, and I have not heard such a deep bass from such tiny headphones before in my life.
You need to push the CX300's to almost painful listening limits to get any audible distortion from them and on the whole they reproduce a good quality sound.
I have found that you need to use a bit of trial and error get them sealed in your ears into the best position for a quality sound. They need a little twisting and turning for you to get that deep bass in all its glory.
One gripe that I have is the cord entry position. It may just be the odd shape of my ears that are the problem, but I have found that it would be better if the cord entered from the end rather from the side. These...

Excellent alternative to standard headphones
Advantages: Very comfortable, sound great, excellent value for money.
Disadvantages: The in-ear style may put some people off. Not suitable for vigorous exercise.
...First off. Let me mention that I have nothing against the quality of the standard white iPod headphones that came pre-packaged with my new iPod Nano. However, I find them painful to wear for any length of time and they keep falling out of my ears, so I went looking for a suitable alternative.
Having had a very good pair of Sony?s Fontopia earphones (with swappable rubber plugs much like the ones on these) a few years ago, I found the format and form factor comfortable and user-friendly , so I decided to plump for the CX300.
I ordered mine from Amazon for £16.99, opting for the eco-friendly packaging. As I have Amazon Prime, delivery was free and the package arrived with no hassle the next day. The packaging was novel (to say the least), being made up of successive layers of corrugated cardboard, cut to fit around the ear buds...

High quality sound at a bargain price
Advantages: Excellent sound, light, comfortable, cheap
Disadvantages: In-ear design may take some getting used to
...The Manufacturer
Sennheiser is a company that has been specialising in the manufacture of headphones and microphones for over 50 years. They produce a large number of different models of headphone to suit various purposes from reasonably priced phones for portable players through to high-end models for hi-fi buffs and sound engineers.
Construction & Design
I have been using these in-ear headphones every day for almost a year now, plugged into my Archos XS202S MP3 player. This is my third pair of Sennheiser headphones (the others are full-size, audiophile quality phones that I use with my hi-fi and computer) so they are a manufacturer I know and trust to come up with a high quality product. Although they are very light, they are clearly well-made and durable, showing no signs of wear or deterioration after nearly a year of daily use...

Sennys
Advantages: great sound, snug fit
Disadvantages: wire is longer for the right ear
...These headphones are called the Sennheiser CX300, they are in ear headphones that will never fall out of your ear. They provide great sound and block outside noise so you don't have to listen to your music with background noise.
Sound Quality
--------------------
The sound quality on these Sennheiser headphones is awesome. You get lots of bass and the music sounds good. You will be listening to tracks you know well and be hearing new sounds with these headphones because they are that good. There is no crackling noises that seem to plague other headphones. The Sennys also block out background noise but if it gets above a certain noise level background noise can be heard. Be careful when your crossing roads when wearing these as you can't here the cars coming!!!
Comfort
------------
The Sennheiser CX300 are very comfortable...

Best Earphones on the market
Advantages: Great sound - High Durability - Low price
Disadvantages: none - thou some people may not like bass orientated earphones
...Sennheiser CX 300 earphones are the best quality earphones i have ever come accross. Here are my reasons:
-- Durability - They dont break like most earphones - I have tried dozens of different earphones and brands, looking for the one earphone that actually does it what it is supposed to without falling apart every 3 months!
--High sound quality- They have a very high sound quality. very high defintion sound that gets me going when i need it (i usually use it for jogging and when im out alone on a walk). as i said, i have tried expensive to cheap earphones, these rate the best, as even the very expensive ones break after a few months. (And i use all my things with great care)
-- GREAT PRICE! - The best value for money. They provide high sound quality, for hardly anything! What more could i have asked for?
They do not break...

Awesome headphones!
Advantages: Bass driven, clear sound and noise-cancelling.
Disadvantages: Expensive for headphones, but worth it.
...When I first started listening to music through headphones and an mp3 player, I wasn't really bothered about the sound, just pleased that I could have portable music at my fingertips. Then I received my 2GB iPod a few years ago and was thoroughly impressed with the headphones supplied by Apple. I remained satisfied for 2 more years, though in those 2 years I did have to acquire 3 or 4 pairs due to breakage. However, when I first received my 2GB iPod Nano I was recommended these headphones, but I didn't really see the point in spending nearly £50 on a pair of headphones, surely there wouldn't be that much difference?
Well in January of this year, I purchased the 160GB iPod Classic, which I recently reviewed and I decided to purchase the Sennheiser CX300 headphones as they were only £17.99 on Play.com and I had a voucher to use. So...
