Sennheiser HD 20. Value for money.

Advantages: Great sound, durable, cheap.
Disadvantages: Lacks the range that some higher end headphones can provide. Not always loud enough.

...Great pair of headphones if your on a budget. Sennheiser are known for their quality built headphones and these are no exception. I originall bought them to plug into my amp and listen to my electric guitar "quietly". They performed pretty well at this and handled the low basses without distorting. The only slight downside is that they weren't very loud. I'm not one for really loud headphones, but when these reach a certain threshold of volume they start to distort a bit. Under most circumstances this is fine, but sometimes I find myself needing a touch more volume out of these. I also use them now for listening to music and playing games on my PC. The headphones sound absolutely great for both music and gaming and the sound quality is really crisp. The only difference you'l notice between these and an expensive pair...

Wired For Sound

Advantages: Brilliant sound for the price
Disadvantages: No sound limiter, long cable

...When looking for a pair of headphones to use with my PC, I was looking for the following attributes: 1. I wanted a pair of large closed cup headphones, the type that covered my ears as I hate in ear ones. 2. Decent sound quality so that I could listen to music and really enjoy the experience 3. I wanted to be able to sit in the same room as my daughter while she was playing her music full blast without hearing that annoying boom-da-boom noise coming from her direction. 4. I wanted to get all of this without spending a fortune, my budget was just £30. I spent quite a bit of time looking round at headphones before I decided on the Sennheiser HD201 closed back headphones which were selling on Amazon.co.uk for just £14.99. The black and silver headphones are really comfortable to wear, the padded headband is adjustable so even if...

Sweaty ear muffs!

Advantages: Low Cost, Reliable, Robust
Disadvantages: Loses a bit on bass sound

...gather dust tucked under our old sofa bed. A few months back in the throws of moving house my bulky old head phones finally met their maker, as my clumsily placed right boot simply broke them in two. Without the headphones, it was no longer even a passing consideration, we simply bubble wrapped the keyboard and off it went into storage, looking for all the world a lost cause. But in October when we finally moved into the new house, got a toy / play room set up, and the quest for the music was reborn. Sennheiser and sensibility I'll be honest, I'm certainly no connoisseur of the world of electronic gadgets and gismos, but was pretty sure of what was required here. A lightweight, durable, reliable affordable (under £20) set of headphones that would do the job. And lo and behold the birthday fairy delivered me the Sennheiser HD 201...

High quality, affordable and comfortable!

Advantages: Everything you want from a pair of headphones: great sound, comfort and style
Disadvantages: Compactability

...Sennheiser are well known for making high quality headphones, and they have one again succeeded with the HD 201 on-ear headphones. After hearing music through these I have never returned to using in-ear headphones, they just take your ears by storm. I purchased a pair of HD 201 heaphones off Amazon about 4 months ago, and paid a tiny price of £11, and in my opinion, its the best £11 I have spent my whole life. These heaphones deliver high quality sound at only a fraction of the price of other on-ear headphone brands such as Boss and Sony. Whatever you plug these heaphones into whether it be an Ipod or your own HiFi, you won't be disappointed. These heaphones deliver a very clean sound, and even when listening to metal/rock music you can hear every instrument clearly without say the guitars outweighing the drums/bass (this may be as...

Superb

Advantages: Excellent sound. Great value for money
Disadvantages: None

...These headphones have powerful bass and a smooth treble. They are perfect for any kind of music. The 6.3mm adapter and 3 metre long wire make the headphones great for DJing (which is what I use them for). They are fully adjustable to fit your head plus they are light and comfy. The weight and padded earpads sometimes make you forget the fact that you are actually earing headphones. They also look stylish and classy. They are also very affordable making them superb value for money at around £15 a pair. The main disadvantage is that they are not fully able to block outside noise when compared to high end sennheiser and bose but still block out the majority. They still perform brilliantly. Overall these are a pair of truely outstanding headphones and definately top in their price range....

Sennheiser CX300 - a great upgrade earphone

Advantages: Great sound clarity, very comfortable
Disadvantages: Higher frequencies not as refined as other earphones

...Listening to music... a great British pastime, and something I enjoy every day. It comes as no surprise, mainly because it has been said many times before, that the earphones bundled with the iPod, or any MP3 player, are not brilliant. The iPod earphones are better then most, but for a small investment you can get a lot more music for your money. Sennheiser are well known for their high quality offerings, but this needn't break the bank. Their CX300 earphones weigh in at under £20 and are available in either black, white or silver. They come supplied nicely packaged with small, medium and large ring adaptors for a comfortable fit. Of the three colours I really like the black, which are accented with silver rings. Being the in-ear type of headphone, comfort is very important. Out of all the earphones I have tried, these win...

Sennheiser CX 300

Advantages: Sound quality, bass, ability to block out background noise
Disadvantages: Very flimsy for the price and no case included

...I bought these roughly a year ago and they only lasted a few months. The sound quality is very, very good. Having been stuck using the basic iPod earphones prior to these, the CX 300 were a refreshing change. The bass on them is certainly more than adequate. Although some in-ear headphones don't block out background noise very well you won't have that problem with these. As long as you have the correct sized cover on the headphones the background noise will be blocked out completely meaning you can have your mp3 player on below half max volume and hear the music very clearly. Prior to these I'd never used in-ear headphones before and was somewhat concerned as to whether they'd be to hard and rough on my ear. The Sennheiser however are very soft, not too large and quite easy to use. So, why didn't they last me very long? The wire...

Sennheiser - enjoy the sound!

Advantages: the wireless freedom, great sound quality
Disadvantages: maybe little too big?

...I'm incredibly happy with my new set of Sennheiser headphones. I have been using Sennheiser products for years and also this time I am not dissapointed. I love loud music so I use headphones almost everyday. The quality of sound is just great. Of course the biggest advantage is freedom which gives you wireless functionality. I can go downstairs to the kitchen, I can go outside and sit in my garden and the sound is still clear and very high quality. The only one thing is I wish I could increase the basses. The look and design is very nice and modern but in my opinion the ear pads may be little too big for a woman. And unfortunately people in the same room can still hear a lot! But as I said, I really trust Sennheiser for its quality and I would never give it away I remommend to everybody. Very good overall performer....

Bargin pair of Sennheiser's

Advantages: Brilliant and fantastic quality
Disadvantages: Feel very light and a tad flimsy.

...In my own personal opinion, these are surprisingly the best pair of headphones I have owned in a long time. I knew that i would be pleased with the Sennheiser quality but not as much as i am for the price. They have a really wide sound range and I have found myself hearing parts to songs that i had never heard before. My only concern with the headphones is that they feel very light and a bit flimsy. I am afraid of dropping them and someone standing on them because they feel fragile. But to be honest, if they have had to degrade the quality of the plastic used to allow such great quality to be available at such a low price, then i'm not complaining. Much recommended because of their outstanding value for money....

Sennheiser CX300 in-ear headphones.

Advantages: Cancel out background noise, comfortable to wear, enhances listening experience
Disadvantages: None

...I'd just recently bought a new mp3 player and after shelling out quite a lot of money for it, I didn't want to be let down to poor sound quality of the packaged headphones. After doing some research online, I decided to get a pair of Sennheiser CX300's. I have to say they are fantastic. They come with 3 sets of earbuds in different sizes, experiment and find out which are most comfortable in your ears. They are very easy to wear- I forget I'm wearing them half the time! And the sound....well the sound is amazing. I can hear tracks on my mp3 player far more clearly and defined. They cancel out a lot of backround noise too- the early morning commutes on a packed bus have never been so peaceful. All in all I love them. Definately worth the £20 or so price tag. I let my brother borrow them one day and he ended up buying...
