...Towards the end of last year I decided to invest in a new headset, not only for video calling friends and family but also for generally listening to things on my laptop while not disturbing others in my student house. The really cheap headset I had bought the year before (£2 off ebay!) broke within three months of usage so this time around I was more willing to spend a considerable amount for a quality headset. After some searching online I came across the Sennheiser PC 151 headset, which was perfect: well within my budget, sleek design, a noise-cancelling, adjustable microphone and the ability to change volume via in-line control. A Starter Headset Delivering Clear Sound

...Due to my carelessness I broke my headset, so I had to buy a replacement. After a careful search on the internet the Sennheiser PC Headset caught my eye.
About Sennheiser:
Sennheiser is a manufacturer of professional audio equipment. It was founded by Professor Sennheiser in 1945. Its products include headphones, headsets, noise cancelling and reduction, microphones, call centre headsets and aviation headsets, etc. The one I?m writing about is one of Sennheiser PC Headset products, given the full name, Sennheiser PC 36 USB VOIP Plug and Play PC Headset.
Packaging and Features:
My Sennheiser PC Headset comes in a well designed plastic box. The boxed-product weight is 454g and the headset is 136g.

Sennheiser PC 120 Headset
Advantages: Great crisp sound, excellent fit
Disadvantages: Lack of volume control with Xbox 360
...Having worked in call centres before I was quite disappointed to learn that Microsoft's official headset for the Xbox 360 was just like the one I was accustomed to, you know the one that pulls half your hair out when you take it off and makes you look like one of the chickens on that car insurance advert, therefore you can imagine my delight when the new Sennheiser PC 120 arrived at my door.
The headset ( as you can see from the picture below) goes with the more modern bluetooth style that fits comfortably over and into your ear, you can also switch between your left and right ear depending which way feels more comfortable. When you first see the connections on the end of the headphones you think to yourself, "now where am I going to stick that on my 360's controller" due to the 2 x 3.5mm jacks (I will explain these later) on the end...
