Sennheiser PC 120 Headset

Advantages: Great crisp sound, excellent fit
Disadvantages: Lack of volume control with Xbox 360

...Having worked in call centres before I was quite disappointed to learn that Microsoft's official headset for the Xbox 360 was just like the one I was accustomed to, you know the one that pulls half your hair out when you take it off and makes you look like one of the chickens on that car insurance advert, therefore you can imagine my delight when the new Sennheiser PC 120 arrived at my door. The headset ( as you can see from the picture below) goes with the more modern bluetooth style that fits comfortably over and into your ear, you can also switch between your left and right ear depending which way feels more comfortable. When you first see the connections on the end of the headphones you think to yourself, "now where am I going to stick that on my 360's controller" due to the 2 x 3.5mm jacks (I will explain these later) on the end...

If I am using it, I have to set it to maximum length. if my 10-year-old nephew would use it for some PC games, he just pushes the headband inward and it adjusts itself at about half an inch. Sennheiser HD 555

Advantages: plays well and has a 2 year warranty
Disadvantages: maybe uncomfortable to some users

Brilliant headphone/microphone for the price!

...I bought this headset about 6 months ago because I was into internet gaming and used Teamspeak alot. I also used Skype quite frequently to call family and friends. This is one of the cheapest headsets I could find on the market and previously owned a pair of Sennheiser headphones which were very good so decided to splash out £30 on them. I tried them out straight away and was surprised how professional they looked. It comes with a volume adjustor and mute button on the lead which also has a clip attached to it, which makes it very convienient. A problem with this though, is that the volume dial is on the side of this and if you move, it sometimes moves the dial and lowers/raises the sound, when you may not want it to. This is only a minor problem and wouldnt stop me recommending this to friends. As for sound quality, it is not...
