A Nightmare on Elm Street 2 - for viewers included
Advantages: A few good scenes
Disadvantages: Lost the plot - skip this sequel
...***Why watched A Nightmare on Elm Street 2***
I originally first watched this A Nightmare in Elm Street 1, and like many other people out there I thoroughly enjoyed the film.
After the ambiguous ending in the first film I was unsure where the story would continue in the second film. Luckily for me I watched I pretty much was able to watch the films consecutively.
This film was introduced in 1985 (1 year after the first), but I probably watched both of them in the late 80's.
***The cast***
Mark Patton as Jesse Walsh
Kim Myers as Lisa Webber
Clu Gulager as Ken Walsh
Hope Lange as Cheryl Walsh
Robert Englund as Freddie Krueger
***The plot***
The story kicks of 5 years after the first film, Nancy and her family have moved away and the Jesse and his family move into their old home.
By chance Jesse moves into Nancy's old room...

Green Street 2 DVD Review
Advantages: Erm, none?
Disadvantages: Everything you could possibly imagine.
...Without being entirely ignorant, there are always certain films that I anticipate seeing more than others. After the pretty dreadful Green Street, I'd be lying if I said hearing the rumours about a straight-to-dvd sequel had me, in any way, twitching in extreme anticipation.
Green Street 2 tracks the members of rival firms West Ham United and Millwall, who are now serving time in a tough prison for their fighting in the previous film.
After wasting an hour and half of my life to watch this pathetic attempt at filmmaking, I can conclude that my instincts were indeed right.
Firstly, how they can even call it a "sequel" is way beyond me, as it contains just one actor from the first film- Dave (and no, I can't remember him either). The violence is explicit, but poorly choreographed; never exciting or partly intriguing. The acting I...

Street Fighter 2 - The Movie review
Advantages: Fun, engaging
Disadvantages: Not for everyone
...Street Fighter II is an anime movie made in the same year as the live action Street Fighter, 1994. Bison, who is the leader of Shadowlaw, an international terrorist organisation, have been looking for the best fighter in the world. After years of searching, he thinks he may have found who he was looking for, a young man called Ryu who roams the earth, which is why Bison can't get a lock on him.
He does get a lock on Ken Masters though, who trained with Ryu when they were younger under the same teacher. As this is going on, Guile, a major in the US Army, is forced to team up with Chun Li and together they try to find Bison and put an end to his reign of terror.
Other characters include Zangief, Blanca and Eddie Honda, so a lot of peoples favourite characters should be in here. Fans of the games will probably prefer this to the live...

Street Fighter II Brought to Life
Advantages: Game Characters brought to life
Disadvantages: predictable plot, Not for everyone
...Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie is one of my favourite animated movies partly because I like martial arts, fighting and the like. As many of you will have realised already that it is based on the mega popular Capcom video game where characters fight one-on-one in the street using various styles of fighting with all sorts of special techniques, some even involving shooting fireballs and other impossible-to-do-in-real-life moves. The movie was released by Manga Entertainment.
STORY
The movie begins on a dark stormy night where we see two fighters fighting. These fighters are Ryu and Sagat. Both characters struggle and we see Ryu unleash his Hadouken where he fires a huge fireball from the palm of his hands after charging it up, that's where the title of the movie appears. Nice intro to the movie. The story revolves around Ryu...

Step up 2 the streets soundtrack
Advantages: Great mix
Disadvantages: Some of the best songs are missing
...The album debuted at #13 in America on the Billboard 200 but got to its highest position of #5 just 2 weeks later. It also reached #3 on the Australian charts.
Soundtrack to an awsome movie...but i had to rewatch the film to figure out where some of the songs were from and was dissapointed when some songs werent featured on the album....mostly the mixed song from the end dance scene.
For anyone that loves this movie, the sountrack is a must because, lets be honest, sountracks to movies like this are what makes them. Could you really imagine a film like this full of ballads? Just wouldnt be the same would it?
This album is a must for anyone who is into commercial RnB but i dont think it will appeal to many other people. There weren't many songs on here that i didnt like, which rarely happens when i buy a CD, especially...

Sennheiser's MX 51 - Should you buy these ones?
Advantages: Slim and subtle design. Quality of sound. Sennheiser reliability.
Disadvantages: Slim design could be a potential structural weakness.
...also come with a 'convenient carrying case' if you see fit to want one. I personally find cases such as this one supplied are a bit too much hassle to use. Slotting bits in and winding it up, if you're impatient you'll certainly find you'll never use it, however my father does take better care of his equipment and so does use his.
Sennheiser
The reason I was looking for a Sennheiser in the first place was that from experience, (I've owned 3 Sennheiser earphones and about 2 Sony earphones) I've found Sennheiser to be more reliable. With Sony earphones I would eventually hear a buzzing everytime the bass kicked in, and then eventually the earphones would die. With Sennheiser however I've gotten good 16 month+ usage out of each one. Which is saying something as I use them on several separate occasions for up to an hour per day...

fantastic earphones
Advantages: they dont just fall out of your ear
Disadvantages: none
...well looking across the market for earphones there are many companys and many different earphones and by far i have found these to be thebest i have came across so far.
first of all the sound quality the sound quality of these earphones is excellent and drowns out the sound of the surrounding world on the long way to work these earphones lure you into a world of you own where it feels like no matter what band or group or singer your listeneing to you they are playing it just for you.
the comfort of these earphones is also by far the best i have come across as many of us get annoyed by earphones tht simply drop out of your ears whilst walking along a street is simplyu annoying sennheiser have simply iradicated this as these earphones seem to be like a plug and fit snugly and comfortably within the ear and never fall out just because...

Fifa Street 2 - Humiliation for the nation!
Advantages: Great gameplay, cool tricks
Disadvantages: Mini-games
...This game takes everything that kids and teenagers (and Christiano Ronaldo) practice in gardens or against a wall, and puts them into a tournament situation with professional players. The aim of Fifa Street 2 is not just to win, but to humiliate your opponents with a variety of tricks and skills. You create your own player, and choose everything from hair style to earrings, then train him up alongside superstars, who you can then swap to get an incredible line up (even though it is only 4 on 4). There are special hidden and signature tricks to discover, the awesome Gamebreaker as with all EA BIG games. The graphics allow precision passing, and are definitely as good as football games on PS2, quite impressive for a handheld console. Unfortunately, the music selection is not as good. Apart from the music,, the minigames were the only poor...

Taking It To The Streets
Advantages: good dancing, easy to watch
Disadvantages: -
...crew at her new school with the help of Chase Collins (Robert Hoffman) who is part of the family of the school they attend.
The film pretty much develops on from this point as they all plan to attend the dancing event 'The Streets'. I did really like this film and it seemed to pass very quickly with all of the energetic dance routines which even made me want to get back to a dance class. The only slight problem I would have to say about this film is that it did have a similar kind of plot to Save The Last Dance which is my favourite dance film of all time as she had her mother die and got into dance school and so on but that didn't make me hate this film any less.
The acting in this film was nothing special as it was pretty basic, I think the main ability to be cast on this film is to be able to dance. Briana Evigan plays Andie who is...

Street Life - Part 2
Advantages: Realistic characters, funny in places
Disadvantages: Can't think of any
...Espresso Tales is the second volume of Alexander McCall Smith's serial novel depicting the everyday lives of a small group of people living in an Edinburgh house, and those of their friends and acquaintances. The first book, suitably entitled 44 Scotland Street, served as a pleasantly entertaining introduction to the characters and their backgrounds, and while at times the various storylines appeared to be meandering in no particular direction, the book was in fact setting the scene nicely for this, the second instalment. Many threads were left unfinished deliberately, and thus, Espresso Tales continues almost directly where 44 Scotland Street left off.
Pat, a student with two gap years behind her, has decided to stay in Edinburgh, to the relief of her father, and continues to lodge with Bruce, her brief infatuation with him now well...
