...My 100th review ? in some ways I wish I?d chosen a more glamorous item to cover, but this will have to do! Earlier Olympus Digital cameras used RS232c interfaces to connect directly to Personal Computers; my first semi-serious digital camera (an Olympus CAMEDIA C 960ZOOM reviewed previously) was one such example. Cameras of this vintage frequently have two 3.5mm jack sockets, one for Composite Video out (and feature a yellow collar) the other, for data is beige to match the cable. The cable is reasonably high quality, being roughly a metre long, and terminating in a 3.5mm jack plug at one end, and a 9 pin serial connection at the other. The camera automatically supplies the 12v signals required by an RS232 interface, there?s nothing ?smart? about the cable, it?s just a lump of wire! A screened cable is used, and features...

Dyson DC25 Animal - Having A Ball!

Advantages: Large collecting bin and great suction!
Disadvantages: Not so Lightweight, and Power Cord could be longer.

Dyson Ball DC25

Advantages: Very light and very manoeverable.
Disadvantages: Bit too light and moves around a lot.

...The Dyson DC25 all Floors vacuum cleaner is a revolution in houshold cleaning. Not only is very good at picking up small pieces of dust and dirt,but the filters are washable which makes it cheaper than some other types of cleaners. I love the way it manoevers around furniture and as it has a small and low head it can get under the edges of furniture as well as under my radiators. Something my old Dyson couldn't do. It's very light weight, weighing only 7.5kg so it makes hoovering upstairs that much easier. The only draw back of this weight is that when you are using the extension hose to clean furniture, curtains or to get behind things, i found that if stretched to it;s limit the machine would move around and has caught me in the ankles several times. Serial Mom- Sick Laughs.

Advantages: The best of American comedy.
Disadvantages: Might not appeal to all senses of humour.

...I have owned a Discovery 2.5TDi from new since 2003 and consider now that I have enough experience to comment fairly on it. Good points 1. Excellent work horse. Can tow all day without noticing the load 2. Very comfortable and excellent seat movement 3. Makes you feel safe and secure Bad points 1. Very poorly designed dashboard layout. Most displays hidden by the steering wheel 2. Very badly positioned switches for electronic seat controls. You have to have needle thin hands and be a contortionist to use them 3. Poor electrics (especially the sun roof which has a mind of its own). and the worlds worst SAT Nav. You can buy a top of the range Garmin for less than the disc upgrade. Advantages: nippy and easy to drive
Disadvantages: not alot of leg room for rear passengers

...I bought this car just under a year ago second hand. Bought the car for 1100. The car is very nippy for a 1.25 engine, can keep up with the more powerful engines. The car is very nice looking inside and out. Plenty space in the boot. The space in the front is pretty good for a small car but the space in the back for the passenger isn't to good especially if you have a long legged person in the front. The cars a very reliable, not had any problems with mine and if you do need part you can get the fairly cheap from scrap yard, also the mk4 is very similar so alot of stuff can be used off them. Its easy to manoevre and park. Tax and insurance is low for this car as well, so this is good for the 1st time drivers or someone who needs a car to get them to work and back and to do sum shopping. Dyson DC25 - If you've got pets it's brilliant

...I have a number of pets (almost too many to count) that leave hair all over the house and after my vacuum cleaner gave up the ghost i started looking for a new one. I was originally drawn to the DC25 because of the fact it will pick up animal hair. After using it for the first couple of times i noticed that it had far better sucking power (alright that probably isn't the technical term) than any other vacuum cleaner i have ever owned. My carpet has never been so clean! It comes with all the attachments on board and they all have places to clip onto the vacuum which is a great thing for me as i usually put things down somewhere and completely forget where i put them. The amazing thing about it is that instead of having the typical standard four wheels it has a rolling ball mechanism which makes it so much more manouvreable...

...My Land Rover Discovery 2.5 TD5 GS is the 5-seat model, first registered in December 1999. It was bought in June 2000 for £20,000, having cost approximately £27,500 new. It had nearly 5000 miles on the clock. Bodywork was and is immaculate and the previous owner (a rural chemist) buys a new one quite frequently (every 6 months!). This car had also had lamp protectors and fog lamps fitted over the standard spec, with floor mats and mudflaps also fitted. The point at which bought it was just after the start of the drop in new and used prices and appeared to be priced to keep cash flow going as it has only depreciated by £2000 over 1 year. ...Apple mac-books, where to start... ok, so to start, it is an apple, that means you get a solid quality product and on the whole very good customer are. this particualar apple is deffinatly more suited to being a media center than other laptops. At first glance you realise that it is a fairly large laptop, this allows for a big screen, which being an apple ffers clear vivid displays, unfortunatly the big screen increases the overal size and also uses more battery, however, the 4.5 hour yattery is still very good for an entertainment laptop. The laptops technical specs include a very fast 2.5 ghz dual core proccesor which is very fast, the dual core allows it to tackle multiple tasks quicly as well as increasing the overall speed of the laptop. ...Now, without sounding too much of a "freak" I have a secret passion for serial killers, British or otherwise, it amazes me how someones mind can work in justifying these terrible crimes. This DVD, which I bought myself a little while ago, is priced at approx. £13, and if you are into crimes, especially murders, I would say you would not regret paying it to watch this. Let's start with the packaging, with a title like "Britain's Bloodiest Serial Killers," you would expect it to be a bit graphic. The front of the DVD box also reflects that, being covered in blood, with a gun, syring, rope and a meat cleaver. Now, personally, I prefer a bit of blood, the more gruesome, the better!
