Here we again follow Rowan Atkinson who is simply superb and I hope you get a sense of my enjoyment from the following review of the second series Black Adder ran for 4 series but this review is about just the second. The second series was set in the 16th century and follows Black Adder as he sucks up to queen bess and nearly, on several occassions, loses his head. He and his manservant, the wonderfully dopey Baldrick set out to grab as much power as he can. ...Well?I've done The Office Series 1, 2 and Xmas Special. I've done Extras series 1. I've dried up on Gervais/Merchant sitcoms?that is until last Monday, when the 'critically acclaimed' second series of Extras arrived in our shop windows. Any good though? You bet! Series one saw Gervais manage to get the likes of Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Stiller, Patrick Stewart, Kate Winslet and of course Les Dennis to appear in a comedy about an television extra, Andy Millman (played by Gervais) who's a desperate man, doing whatever it takes to get himself noticed. At the end of the series, he'd successfully written a script about a workplace with an annoying boss (yes?the link with the Office is apparent) that the BBC had commissioned. Advantages: Amazing episodes, phenomenal cast, widely varied

Ghost Whisperer Series 2, Amazing !

...Ghost Whisperer Series 2, Amazing. The storylines throughout this series are gripping, thrilling, and juicy. With a total of 22 episodes plus bonus features on the DVD such as Melinda's Wardrobe. There's plenty to watch for Ghost Whisperer Fans This series unlike series one, is more consistent with episode which maintain the gripping storylines, Melinda & Jim's relationship and Scary Levels. All the episodes leave you wanting more. The first series was great however the second series allows you to see a more dark and scary variaty of ghosts which creep you out and give you a real thrill factor. Series 2 is a combination of Amazing scripts and equally amazing acting from the likes of Jennifer Love Hewitt and David Conrad. ...Red Dwarf - Series 2 is the second series in the Emmy-award winning show, Red Dwarf! This season was first broadcast in 1988 and features the first ever appearance of Kryten, a robot who becomes an integral part of the crew. The series continues the adventures of Lister, the last human being alive. He is joined by Holly, the ship's computer, Arnold Rimmer, a hologram of his dead bunkmate, and the cat, a lifeform that has evolved from Lister's pet cat. Kryten's appearance was a step forward, because when he becomes a regular cast member in series 3 (and replaced by Robert Llewellyn) that was when Red Dwarf started getting better and better, until it reached it's peak in the sixth season. It was a great move to add Kryten, even if the writers didn't want to as they thought it seemed like a tired old cliche to have a robot cast member...

Waterloo Road series 2

Advantages: Great storylines as always
Disadvantages: Cut down episodes

...If you enjoyed the first series you will love this series even more. Waterloo road just keeps getting better and better and series 5 is currently being shown on TV due to it's great storylines. This box set has 4 discs and a complete running time of 619 minutes. There are two extras on the set: Miss Haydock Reveals all and Mika's Video Diary. There have been music edits made and each episode has been cut down slightly from the original transmitted version. These 'deleted scenes' can be found on youtube. There are 12 episodes in this series and in episode 1 we meet Roger Aspinall who has plans to make the school an academy. In episode 2 Andrew has taken over as head at Roger's instruction but Andrew needs Jacks help when excluded pupils attack a local shopkeeper. ...Blackadder - Complete Series 2 is the second series of the Blackadder saga, charting one family's scheming and plotting over the centuries. This season is set during the reign of Elizabeth I (played superbly by Miranda Richardson). The main character here is Lord Blackadder, the great grandson of the character from the previous series. ...Still Game is the hugely popular scottish comedy show, which follows the life of 2 old pensioners, Jack Jarvis, and Victor McDade, along with their neighbours, who include the town gossip, Isa Drennan, Tam Mullen , Winston Ingram, and the local Barman, Boabby- who owns the pub- The Clansman. Series 2 of Still Game is packed with another 9 episodes of the hugely successful scottish comedy. Series 2 sees Jack and Victor, and the gang, take on the local neds after they ruin the public park.
