...Red Dwarf series 3. This wonderfully funny and fantastically written show ran for eight series and almost had a film made, sadly not to be. Starring; Craig Charles - Dave Lister Arnold J Rimmer - Chris Barrie Cat - Danny John-Jules Kryten - Robert Llewellyn Holy was played by two people, Norman Lovett and later Hattie Hayridge. Although Norman did return later in the series. Kristine Kochanski was also played by two people Clare Grogan and then later by Chloë Annett. Kryten was initially played by David Ross but thankfully he did not stay in the role. Advantages: Great chemistry between the cast, funny, memorable moments
Disadvantages: Not quite at their best

...Red Dwarf - Series 3 is the third series in the cult space comedy created by Rob Grant and Doug Naylor, Red Dwarf. For me, this is when Red Dwarf started to get good. Kryten became a permanent member of the crew, and added a great dynamic to the show. The titles were given a makeover, and a new, more up-tempo theme was introduced to replace the old, slightly slow music. Starbug was introduced as the new spaceship, in place of 'Blue Midget', which was used in season 2. Lastly, the whole look of the show and the costumes were overhauled, giving more colour and more detailed scenery. Another change was that Hattie Hayridge was brought in to replace Norman Lovett as Holly, Red Dwarf's mistake-prone computer. ...Gimme, Gimme,Gimme. A Great British comedy. One of the funniest British comedies in the last decade. The plot is very simple; Linda shares a flat with Tom. LINDA Linda is a great big trollop with the manners of a diuretic pig and all the subtlety of a large brick through several plate glass windows. Once described as a slapper on Viagra, she is a real man-eater. Believing herself to be utterly beautiful, she is often confused by people's attitude to her looks and loud clothes. A red perm and lycra wardrobe sum her up. Later in series 3 she will be disagnosed with reversed body dysmorphic disorder, which explains a lot. ...This program was watched by millions of regular viewers when aired between 11/09/69 - 11/12/69. Nine series was produced with 80 episodes being shown. I remember watching this program (on re-runs of course) in my younger years at my grans. They were mad for this program and kept on saying "I remember doing that" or "to think what we didn't get then" used to make me chuckle a little, until you remember what this country must have gone through before the war was won. Series 3 - they just keep on going!

Advantages: A few new stories, new characters, great twist at the end!
Disadvantages: Some repetition, no Rose :(

...Doctor Who started way back in 1963, with William Hartnell playing the Doctor! And his performance must have been so strong as we as a whole are still obsessed with this gripping programme, 44 years later! In the 21st Century, we have met two new Doctors. The 9th Doctor was played by Chris Eccleston, a cheeky chap. But at the end of Series 1, the Doctor regenerated, and introduced us to our latest 10th Doctor, David Tennant! Waiting for god Series 3 (AKA how to grow old disgracefully)

Advantages: very funny comedy

...The perhaps 'not-so dynamic duo' return for the third series of this classic BBC comedy series and again prove that growing old disgracefully is far more fun. Waiting for god was a comedy programme set in the Bayview retirement home which focused on two of its residents who prove that just because you're old it doesn't mean you're passed it.
