...Series 1 and 2 of the Mighty Boosh were amazing- nearly every episode was original, hilarious and generally brilliant. So when i heard that there was going to be a 3rd series i was very eager to watch it on BBC and every episode for me was highly anticipated. But when each weeks episode came around i found that they were no longer original or funny at all. Alot of the episodes used material seen in previous ones and this, as you can imagine, isnt funny. Its unfair to say it was all bad but there were only a few lines in each episode that made me chuckle which was the complete opposite for Series 1 and 2. Advantages: Everything about this program is excellent!

It is believed to be returning to our screens around April next year with even better storylines than before. The main characters, Helen and Nikki are set to return but expect a shake up of the rest of the cast. Advantages: Fun,witty,exciting,dramatic and the box sets are relatively cheap too!
Disadvantages: Season 4 was a let down

...What can i say about these box sets? if you want to watch fun,witty,dramatic,emotional characters in brilliantly thought out storylines (other than series 4 which was a bit naff) coupled with excellent fight scenes,buy these box sets!!! series one was one of the best as youre introduced to the main characters and taken in by the tragic relationship between buffy and angel but this is eclipsed by the superb series 2 in which angel turns evil and throws the whole storyline on its head! i personally think this is one of the better series as joss whedon is able to make the audience feel the whole range of emotions-sadness,betrayal,happiness,shock,and laughter. Series 3 was a bit of a comedown after the shocking finale to series 2 but with the introduction of faith (the new slayer) and the hygiene obsessed mayor its still one of the best... Read review

Advantages: Even better than the first series
Disadvantages: The character changes are almost too major to be believable

...does not seem to grow much in this series, which is something of a disappointment but also provides a sort of benchmark, showing how far everyone else has come, and he hopefully learns some important lessons. Darker and even more brilliant than the first series, Nip/Tuck series 2 is well worth the money. 16 episodes, each approximately 45 minutes long (they are 1 hour on TV including advert breaks) and you will be watching them again and again. If you loved the first series, you will adore this. If you haven't seen the first series, it is advisable to watch it first as a number of plot points carry on from the first series, but it is probably possible to enjoy this even without knowing all the previous events. ...I have recently purchased the Charmed Series 1 DVD box set off eBay. My purchase was an item that I had wanted for a very long time, but had put off buying because when it came out it was so expensive - £39.99 for six DVDS. However, you can now get it in the shops for about £19.99 or cheaper if you are really lucky. However on eBay it can be really cheap to get a slightly used copy. I got mine for under £10, and the seller threw in Series 2 as the cover was missing! Anyway to get back to the actual DVD's - Charmed is a series about 3 ordinary sisters called Halliwell, who wake up one day to discover that they are actually witches! Good ones, of course. ...you, the audience, are privvy to more information than the narrator, Dexter, is - which makes some parts pretty interesting, because you want to know how he will react. The second series diverges from the story, since the first series stuck more or less to the book. As a result, some of the things that happen in it didn't satisfy me, but I am looking forward to series 3.... Read review

...This is the first series of the Clone Wars cartoon series which fills in some of the gap between the second and thirds episodes of the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. There is a lot to enjoy here. I love the animation style used here which is very stylised and full of energy. The series is produced by Genndy Tartakovsky, the creator of Samurai Jack, and the look and design of Clone Wars owes a lot to that series. All the main characters from the Prequels return in animated form along with a few new characters such as the evil Sith Apprentice Asij Vantress. With the exception of C-3PO (Anthony Daniels) the voices are done by a cast of experienced voice actors and they do a great job, although there is noticably little dialogue in this first series. Advantages: A Laugh a minute
Disadvantages: Its coming to an end!

But from series 1 through to series 9... we see a lot of weddings including a drunken one in Vegas...a lot of babies including 3 triplets carried by Phoebe for her brother...a lot of divorces mainly by Ross!... and most of all a lot of laughs! In every series there are 6 videos, each with four episodes on. Now it can be expensive to collect each complete series but I usually wait until its my birthday when someone else can buy one video for £12.99! (- price varies but I have found thats the average) or wait until Christmas when most shops will do a 2 for £10 offer. (This is a really good offer because you can buy the whole series a lot cheaper than buying the box set!) As I said there are 9 full series out on video and are generally suitable for older children. ...To recap from my other review, to explain the characters: Tucker and Garvey, Dave and Donna, Paddy and Nancy, Tony and Joy. These are the couples that grabe you right from the first series and take you through the next five series. (Series 6 and 7 were never so good once Tucker and Garvey had left). It was an excellent series and very fresh and new when it first arrived. Written by Lucy Gannon. It brought together Robson and Jerome (who can failed to have missed their hit single Unchained Melody!). Advantages: Funny, Hilarious, hours of entertainment.

...I bought South Park series three on video about a month ago know and I cant stop watching it over and over. It is so funny. After the first two series I was expecting south park to become a littl "old hat" but this defintley is not the case. This new series which retails for around £40 includes 17 epsiodes including "Sexual Harrasement Panda", "Starving Marvin in space", "Chinpokamon" and "Cat Orgy". Every episode made me roll with laughter. I know South Park may not be every ones cup of tea, but anyone who has seen the original series and enjoyed the antics of the South Park crew, must watch this. The 3rd series is a definite must for any fans of Cartman out there, as this series is a serious Cartman fest. I took these videos round my friends house a week or so ago, and they wont let me have them back, it is that good!... Read review
