...Red Dwarf - Series 4 is the fourth season in the long running space sitcom starring Craig Charles and Robert Llewellyn and Danny John-Jules, Red Dwarf. The recording of this season moved to Shepperton Studios because the old studio in Manchester was undergoing refurbishments. The Gulf War was the reason for the postponing of two episodes, "Meltdown" and "Dimension Jump". As a result these were shown as the last two episodes of this season. A lot happens in this series, Kryten really comes into his own and falls in love, Lister gets turned into a chicken when they encounter a DNA modifier and the crew met an alternate Ace Rimmer, one that is actually charming and nice! Firstly, don't make this box set your first purchase - start with Series 3, where the characters are still being introduced to a certain degree, and where maturity has improved the quality of humour. ...the time of their lives but the reality is very different. There is never a dull moment in this fantastic show! There is always something going on, a story is never dragged out and there is always a dramatic event in every episode. If you're anything like me you will get bored and tired of soaps dragging out stories for months, but this doesn't happen on Footballers Wives, the longest you will wait to find something out is one episode! Footballers Wives is one of these programs that you can tell what is going to happen, it is over the top and predictible but is fantastic and I wouldn't want it any other way! In Series 4 the characters seem to have been developed considerably, they are not the same people they were in the previous series. ...This program was watched by millions of regular viewers when aired between 28/09/70 - 18/12/70. Nine series was produced with 80 episodes being shown. I remember watching this program (on re-runs of course) in my younger years at my grans. They were mad for this program and kept on saying "I remember doing that" or "to think what we didn't get then" used to make me chuckle a little, until you remember what this country must have gone through before the war was won. Advantages: Highly entertaining American Drama
Disadvantages: At times a bit over the top

...with the death of Marissa. I believe this was the breath of fresh air needed. I found Marissa to be stroppy, whiney and brought the mood of the entire show down. The intense opening to the series focuses around her death, and the way in which the characters come to terms and deal with it, for example Ryan cage fighting, and Julie intent on revenge. Despite this dark start the humour still remained, Summer becoming an eco-warrior, and the introduction of Taylor Townsend as a main cast-member was utterly inspiring. Taylor becomes part of the 'group' and eventually Ryan's love interest. She is the antithesis of the brooding Ryan, and many comical moments are played out through her. Advantages: Cartoon entertainment for kids
Disadvantages: not as funny as the original, bad graphics, poor comedy

...'smashing' stories; 1. Neighbourly Bean, 2. Nurse, 3. Dead Cat, 4. Super Trolley, 5. Magpie, 6. Cat Sitting, & 7. The Bottle. By 'smashing' i think they must be refering to the clumsiness of the Beanmeister and not the quality of the comedy. Although the soundtrack is fairly impressive, especailly for something which appears to be aimed at kids. The ochestral music makes up most of the dialog for all the episodes as Mr Bean just mumbles and grunts every now and then. However other characters do speak for example Irma Gobb (mr beans romatic interest) and also the post man and other neighbours. Teddy however doesnt say anything, but then again why would he? Graphics are very basic and they've made his head way too big for his body. He looks like an orange on a toothpick! However i'm sure this is done on purpose and to appeal to kids. As...
