.... I love the range of recipes in this book. There are some dishes which can be made in minutes, others which need a little longer, and some which are for the cook with plenty of time. There are also recipes of varying complexities, although the recipes are laid out in a simple way some have only 2 short steps, others have much longer individual steps and more of them. I'm not going to list all the recipes, but here's a taster (no pun intended) to get you salivating... Get, Set and Go for one of the Best runs

Advantages: Excellent performances, superb humour, engaging

...Too often you have some movies, which are really good in all aspects, performances, direction, screenplay but somehow never get the attention they deserve. Midnight Run(1988) starring Robert De Niro, is that kind of movie, which when you see it, you end up wondering how you missed out on this movie. The movie takes it's title from a bounty hunter's slang to imply an easy task. As Eddie Moscone( Joe Pantoliano) tells the bounty hunter Jack Walsh( Robert De Niro), " Its an easy gig, it's a midnight run". The task for Jack looks pretty simple, he needs to capture Jonathan "The Duke" Mardukas( Charles Grodin) and turn him over to Las Vegas mob boss Jimmy Serrano( Dennis Farina). Jonathan a.k.a "The Duke" had embezzled 15$ million from Serrano, and is hiding in New York. Walsh needs to get Mardukas back to L.A. before Friday midnight...

Take your granny to meet a tranny

Advantages: Great concept - loads of fun, cabaret's a laugh, fantastic salad bar
Disadvantages: Food is only OK, can be very busy, only if u like that sort of thing

..., but if you're game for a laugh then it's definitely worth experiencing. They have a cabaret, perhaps just at weekends, which is drag queen humour and songs - a bit rude and raunchy, but not more than saucy. It's obviously all in Spanish though, and the humour is integral, so not worth going if you don't speak the language, in my opinion. But it is not unsuitable for all ages - well perhaps not children, but your mum would cope I think. My Dad does anyway. I've rated it poor for family friendliness overall, although I'm sure you could take young children and the staff would be nice to you, you might not want to explain to your 5 year old why the lady waitress has such a funny bulge down there!! Advantages: Superb basic storyline, very good acting

Honestly, yes I do believe they are, although in a subtitled film it is easy to miss how well actors deliver their lines or if they speak realistically, as you are reading instead of listening, but their body language is realistic, and you at no point feel 'aware' that you are only watching a film. Antonio Banderas is good in his small part, though I must admit that it is strange to see him acting in Spanish, as I am used to see him acting in American films. Julieta Serrano plays the part of a mentally disturbed woman very well, though without being too over the top, which is exactly what the plot prescribes. I love this film, though I'm not sure if everyone would share my opinion. The focus is heavily on the women characters, so men may feel alienated, though that really shouldn't be a problem as...
