Overall the amount of food stores are scattered round and very easy to find and also the same prices you would find elsewhere in the country. I say this because sometimes a store might put the price up more due to being inside a shopping centre. Maps Inside the centre throughout you will notice many maps around for you to find out where stores are. Recently they updated there service and have put these little computers there for people to type in the store they want and it shows you the pathway electronically where you need to go and how far away the store is. Before they had this idea they used to use these horrible little maps and you had to try and work out where you were and find the route yourself. Now this new idea they had is helpful and quick...

Victoria Centre Nottingham

...Nottingham has two large shopping centres, the Broadmarsh Centre and the Victoria Centre, situated at opposite ends of the city centre .The Victoria Centre is the bigger of the two, containing 120 shops (not counting all the various stalls in the market area.) Getting there is easy - if you drive, there's parking for over 2700 cars . If you don't drive, don't worry - almost all the Nottingham City Transport buses stop either directly outside the Victoria Centre, or within a few minutes walk of it . Other bus companies from slightly further afield, such as Trent Barton , terminate at the local coach station within the centre . If you're walking, the centre is signposted from various points in the city centre, and at the end of the day when you're weighed down with shopping, there are 2 taxi ranks directly outside the main entrance...

Job Centre fiasco

Disadvantages: Too many to mention

...Very briefly as the wife of a man who was made redundant the thought of the Job Centre plus being helpful no longer exists. As a mortgage holder and family with two school age children my husband was only entitled to Job Seeks Allowance (JSA). This was paid for 26 weeks and then after still not successful in securing employment, this was stopped. Because I work more than 20 hours a week (I am still only part time) I am expected to support the family and bills. My husband has never been asked how much I earn. This assessment is merely done of the hours I work and not the take home pay coming into the home. Having never claimed any benefits at all before this (but we are in a recession as you all know) we enquired about training and extra help, but, alas, there was no entitlement apparently. ...Hmmmmmm, not quite sure on how to do this but I would just like to write a review on using your local library services. I was a little surprised as to the area that it was in, but hey ho that is Ciao for you as they put it there supposedly! But anyway, back to the subject in mind. How do I use the library service? Well, you have to actually be a member in order to use pretty much any of the facilities that are on offer. It is usually free to join, but there are usually stipulations that you must agree to meet prior to joining: 1. That you are a permanent resident in the area that provides the service. If you live in Devon or Cornwall, then you can't use the service in Avon or Somerset. Wembley Job Centre

Advantages: By signing on every 2 weeks you get some money.
Disadvantages: The staff are not very well trained.

All the repairs and servicing for the whole of the Chesterfield operation are dealt with in one building.I've only been twice to the new place and I much prefer the old one. The New Building is actually very nice. You walk in through the automatic doors to your immediate left is a very nice carpeted seating area with very comfortable leather seats, tables and the latest magazines. Location Dover Leisure Centre is located on Townwall Street in Dover which is pretty much on the seafront and within walking distance to the Port of Dover. It is also within walking distance of Dover town, Dover Priory Station and Pencester bus station. Facilities There are two swimming pools at Dover Leisure Centre. There is a main swimming pool which is 25 metres and also a learner / childrens pool. ...The Jorvik center is if you didn't know, situated in the center of York, Yorkshire. Its one of the main attractions in the city and brings in hundreds of tourists and school visitors. The Jorvik Centre (pronounced Yorvic), is a real acheaology site, where the Vikings of York lived thousands of years ago. Its a museum with a twist though, as with "normal" museums, you walk around, you read signs and miss most things, especially if you have kids with you!
