Apartment smelled of drains

Advantages: Nice pool, pleasanr helpful staff, appartment very clean
Disadvantages: Bathroom stunk of drains, kitchen antiquated, no kettle, toaster or hairdryer

...WHERE IS THIS RESORT: The Jardim 1 is an older resort in Albufiera near the old part of town in the Algarve in Portugal. A BIT OF HISTORY BEHIND OUR HOLIDAY: We booked this break through a ?bargain? special arrangement through a company called Resort point Services and had had a few problems with the so this was a sort of ? Let?s do this or lose our money? sort of decision. We had no choice of accommodation and we going to go where they put us. Estella Hotel and Apartments Did NOT Disappoint!

Advantages: Excellent location, superb customer service levels and lovely rooms
Disadvantages: No real facilities for the disabled

...Estella Hotel Apartments is based in Limassol in Southern Cyprus where I stayed for 6 nights in late April/early May of 2009 with my cousin. The booking was made via Expedia.co.uk and worked out at approximately £200 for 2 of us sharing a twin apartment (just £100 each basically). Before I confirmed the booking through Expedia I went off and did a bit of research on the hotel to make sure I wasn?t getting something that was cockroach infested. The hotel?s website, although fairly basic in appearance, made the hotel look pleasant enough and I sent an email to the hotel asking what amenities were included in the rooms/apartments. ...The apartments are in the newly developed area of Hatton Gardens, just down the road from the "Banana Lamb" sculpture, and newly built student accomodations. The building was a post office sorting building, architecure is quite modern. The entrance hall is a vast triangular pond, perhaps nice to share a drink over, except you are encouraged to keep the noise down and the whole place echos and amplifies a single breath. The apartments, I have stayed in 3 different ones are mixed with fully residential units. The apartments are all different, but share the same basic concept, TV DVD Stereo, 2 sofas, dining table plus kitchen bedrooms and bathrooms. Most have a balcony and quite good views of the city. ...Hmmmmmm, not quite sure on how to do this but I would just like to write a review on using your local library services. I was a little surprised as to the area that it was in, but hey ho that is Ciao for you as they put it there supposedly! But anyway, back to the subject in mind. How do I use the library service? Well, you have to actually be a member in order to use pretty much any of the facilities that are on offer. It is usually free to join, but there are usually stipulations that you must agree to meet prior to joining: 1. That you are a permanent resident in the area that provides the service. If you live in Devon or Cornwall, then you can't use the service in Avon or Somerset. HPB SUPERB! APARTMENTS

Advantages: Beautiful, Peaceful, Ample parking and easy to find.
Disadvantages: Isolated, Peaceful No nightlife.

The are a number of small towns with lots of pubs, shops and Edinburgh woolen mill shops around. There is Aberfoyle and Callender within 10 minutes drive which both have an array of shops and tourist centers. Around the area near the hotel is a number of large rocky mountains and mountain streams all within walking distance of the hotel. There are also three beuatiful lochs within 5 to 10 minutes that can be cycled round or just to sit by for a picnic, we took advantage of the picnic sites around the lochs quite frequently...

Terralta Apartments are the best

Advantages: Loads of Entertainment, lovely staff, Easy to get to the bus stop.
Disadvantages: It stands upon a steep hill which isn't that good for people with Health Problems

...I stayed here in 2005 and I went again in May 2007 for two weeks. I enjoyed everything about my Holiday to Benidorm(Where Terralta resides) that I would give the entire holiday a 10 out of 10. This apartment is mainly for people with Children, but the older people like it just as much. The only problem with going to these apartments is the steep hill that leads up to the apartments. So if you have High Blood Pressure, bad legs or back then this is not a good idea, but saying that there is a bus service that stops directly outside, which takes you to the new town for only 1 euro. These Apartments are not that far from the main centre of Benidorm so if you fancy a walk instead of getting the bus, its really not that far. There is two Swimming Pools, one inside and one outdoors. The inside pool is for when the Adults need to get away...

Althay Apartments - Cheap and Cheerful

Advantages: Clean, cheap, friendly staff, internet, phonebox, onsite shop
Disadvantages: Small pool, bad pool showers, stale towels, tasteless decor

...We booked our holiday to Fuerteventura for the12th-19th September 2007. Being September it was guaranteed to be pretty hot, as opposed to Spain or Greece, and was about the only place in our budget that was somewhere a little different to your usual Spanish or Grecian holiday. We chose Costa Calma as we were informed it had the best beaches on the island. The Althay Apartments looked sweet, unlike the high rise complexes found elsewhere on a budget holiday. For one week the apartment was £117 self catering so only £58.50 each. The flights were £145 each so £290 and the transfers £31 each so £62. The total was £469 for two people. Not the cheapest you can find but a very modest budget! Ideal for the student budget we had. We arranged a transfer taxi coach type thing from the airport which took a little longer than an hour...

Apartments are the way forward!

Advantages: Central, stylish, affordable and just downright cool
Disadvantages: You have to make your own fry-up in the morning

...ready! There was also a full-length mirror and wardrobe in this room. Both the bedrooms were carpeted and also had some lovely prints on the wall. The main bathroom was next to this room and had a lovely big bath, a huge mirror, a powerful shower, a toilet and a heated towel rail. It was very spacious and there was enough room for two people to stand comfortably side by side at the mirror. There are plenty of windows in the apartments, and some of them that are facing the back have little balconies, although the floor of them is not safe for heels to be warned! PRICE The price was brilliant for the amount of room and services that were provided. Basically we got everything we would have done in a hotel, plus a lot extra! It worked out at about 80 quid per person for the two nights! What a bargain?you would pay at least that, if not...

...I booked one of these apartments for my parents to stay in whilst they were up in Sheffield for my graduation. I booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 2 nights for a total of £300.00. BOOKING I booked the apartment on line and paid in full up front. The booking staff were efficient and rang to confirm my booking as soon as payment went through. They also offered a complimentary gift of either chocolates or flowers. The booking also came with a free dvd rental from the nearest self-service dvd store. LOCATION I graduated from Sheffield uni, and whilst the apartment is fairly central, it is some distance from the university itself and therefore a bit of a trek.
