...Come into the kitchen I just have to wash my dishes, Well casserole dishes round Pyrex casserole dishes really. These dishes wash well; I just need some hot soapy water. I could use the dishwasher if I had one. I have a lot of Pyrex casserole dishes, this large 3.5 litre one was a wedding present. (33 years now you know.)They make an even bigger one at 4.5 litres; I do not own one of them. I have three 2.5 litre dishes .I think one was my old mums I rescued this from her kitchen when we cleared out the house after her death. I also have one 2 litre dish. Ohh look I have a smaller 1.5 lire casserole dish too, yes that's Pyrex the word Pyrex is in the glass at the bottom of the dish. Ahh hers a really small casserole dish0.5 litres. Revenge is a dish best served cold

Advantages: Charlie Sheen, sweet actress who plays the secondary role
Disadvantages: Rubbish story, dreadful eighties fashion, weak acting

...be something the Top Gear boys would get excited about though - apparently it is a Dodge M4S. Then there is the ghostly Iron Man type figure who appears every now and again. However, looking back with hindsight, the whole blinding with science thing seems tacky and boring and really serves to date the film - think Back to the Future with much poorer special effects. The plot is absolute rubbish. I haven't given much away in the plot line just in case anyone wants to watch the film, but to be honest, it is so flimsy that even a five year old could guess what is going to happen. Unfortunately, five year olds can't watch the film according to the classification - there is an 18 limit on it, which I think is extremely over the top. Serving up a treat

Advantages: Quick witted humour
Disadvantages: Supporting cast little irritating at times

...Serving Sara is one of those films that you love to hate. The storyline isn't the best it could be and neither the acting nor filming perfect but it is still an enjoyable romantic comedy. Joe Tyler (Matthew Perry) was once a hotshot lawyer but since being disbarred he has found himself hunting down defendants and handing them legal summons. This as once so easy for him but just lately actually catching the defendants in question has been difficult, courtesy of his more than jealous work-mate, Tony. So when Joe is sent to serve divorce papers to the beautiful but unsuspecting millionaires Sara Moore (Elizabeth Hurley), Miami hating Tony is less than impressed and will stop at nothing to discredit Joe. Meanwhile after managing to serve Mrs Moore the papers he finds himself stuck on a bus with her and her four thousand question...

Revenge is a dish best served cold

Advantages: It's a great film with a great cast
Disadvantages: It's hard to watch at times due to the brutality

...time at Wilkinsons enduring endless rapes and beatings at the hands of the guard Noakes (Kevin Bacon) and his colleagues. The latter part of the film jumps forward to 1981 when the 4 friends are much older and have each taken different paths with their lives. Brad Pitt, Jason Patric, Billy Crudrup and Ron Elard are cast as the friends in 1981. All I can say without giving much away is that 'revenge is a dish best served cold'. The films also stars Robert DeNiro; who plays a priest and is faced with making probably the biggest moral decision of his life and career, Minnie Driver and Dustin Hoffman. The Soundtrack (John Williams) to this film is absolutely spot on for the theme. It includes Frankie Valli's Walk Like a Man and December 1963; Spencer Davis Groups' Gimme Some Lovin and The Beach Boys Catch a Wave and Good Vibrations...

Use your loaf ......... dish

...Good old Pyrex make a loaf dish this is a very useful loaf shaped dish The end walls have a small lip which makes it easy to lift in and out of the oven. This loaf dish comes in a variety of sizes mine is 30cm. I find this dish useful for making many loaf shaped dishes, I use it for tea bread, banana cake, ginger bread, meat loaf and a variety of other dishes too. I find Pyrex dishes good material l as it is non- porous, flavours and smells do not linger after washing. To wash it up either do it manually or use the dish washer. It cleans well. Pyrex dishes last ages and ages still looking in fair condition. If you drop this Pyrex loaf dish it probably will not break it wills if thrown with force against a stone floor, but I have dropped Pyrex several times and it has not broken. A RICE DISH BEST SERVED COLD

Advantages: Great story, wonderful sets
Disadvantages: Possibly mis-casting, a little slow at times

Offered the improvised drink, Louis refuses reviled but tempted at the same time. Some of the most compelling aspects of the story take place in Paris and its here that Jordan comes good. Sets mirroring those fantasy sequences in the book reach a crescendo of angst whilst the ongoing gloomy lighting serves to illustrate the nocturnal world of the vampires. Sadly for exponents of the book, the philosophical exchanges between Armand and Louis are largely skimmed over resulting in the possibility of missing both the book and the film's main point i.e. the futility of eternity shown by the depressing relentlessness of living for centuries. Disadvantages: Worse than money for no cover, makes you think you have cover whilst the problem gets worse!

...HomeServe plumbing and drainage cover advertises a two hour response time. After a month, more than five hours on the phone, two days off work, and hours writing letters asking what was going on, HomeServe decided that my policy did not cover the leaking tank in the attic. I had been able to tell them exactly what the problem was on day one. This was despite (eventually) two engineers who eventually came and said that it would be 'no problem'. The first said he was not fully qualified. Had to wait a couple of weeks for the second. Both had to be provided with ladders and the first did not even carry a torch, all this for a well-described leaky tank in an attic. Over the month I have been promised dozens of call backs that never materialised and had to find out myself after nearly a further week of silence that they had decided...

Perfect for solo dishes or family meals!

Advantages: Roomy, cooks to perfection, cooks in half the time, self-cleans.
Disadvantages: So far, I can honestly say I haven't found any.

...coped with Christmas dinner perfectly, there were just two of us and the bird and the roast potatoes fit in with loads of room to spare on the low rack - it cooked to perfection in just over an hour and the bird came out moist and tender yet browned superbly. The meat was so tender the legs barely needed any help being removed for serving as they just slipped off the bone, yet unlike Christmas birds cooked in my main oven before, the skin was still brown and crispy. It also had much less of a "fatty" taste/feel to it as rather than sitting in its own fat and juice whilst cooking it all drained away into the bowl underneath - which was ladled up to add to the gravy! A roast for five was cooked fantastically well and so quickly - which was handy with five hungry mouths to feed! The large beef joint had a recommended cooking time of nearly 3...

Disadvantages: fluted edges may be more difficult to clean

...Amongst my Pyrex collection I have this Pyrex cake dish with handles. This cake dish is round has fluted edges and two handles for easy lifting, This is has1.1 litre capacity and is about the same circumference as a dinner plate. Price between £4 and £5 available in a lot of shops selling cooking /eating equipment and on line at http://www.kitchen-outlet.co.uk/buy/Cake-Dish-11Ltr.asp. So what do I use this dish for? Well all sorts of things, I cook sponge upside down puddings in it. I use it for cheesecakes. I present salads in it. The list of uses is too long to write on here. The only downside is the fluted edges yes they look attractive but sometimes cooked food gets stuck in them. Still fairly easily remedied just needs a bit of elbow grease and a non scratch cleaner and cleans up well I expect most of us or our parents...
