Give your clothes a servis wash

Service not so good from Servis!

Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: Needs a shove to get it going, long cycles and quite noisy

...Everyone will know that when your washing machine packs up, it is a major inconvenience. I shouldn't complain as up until buying this Servis M6002, my faithful Zanussi had served me well, and so had the Zanussi previously. The first lasted me 13 years and the second one 9 years, so I cannot complain! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CHOOSING A MACHINE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I was all set to buy another Zanussi, but unfortunately I did not have the money at the time, due to Christmas, garage bills etc, and desperate for a new washing machine, I had no choice but to look at cheaper makes and models. Servis M7571C - Classy Chilling

Advantages: retro, very well made, price, shelves and "connectors" that shelves sit on
Disadvantages: salad draws, right side hinge only

...and the weight of the items on the shelf force it onto the salad draws. This negative point however is a small one. If you are looking for a nice Retro fridge to look stunning in your kitchen then this is a worthy contender and I strongly suggest you look at it before shelling out over £800 on a SMEG (assuming you can find a place that stocks it (the servis one that is)), certainly not a cheap fridge, as I say I paid £317 which is the cheapest I saw it for, but it has a certain class that a bog standard white fridge just doesn't give and i think is worth the little extra. In fact if you contact me I will take some pics and email them too you if you cannot find a stockist. One other thing I will add is that if you find the Servis Uk website, the picture there is slightly different in that the writing on mine is on the door rather than the top...

The Servis Wash!

Advantages: cheap to buy

...I have had my Servis Washer about six months now. I paid £169.99 for it from Comet. It was a shop floor display model so I got £10.00 knocked off. It was cosmetically sound and all parts were present and correct so I thought it was ok! The Irrelevant Bit We have only lived in our house for about a year and had the privelege of moving in to it brand new. I loved the kitchen with its Wood cabinets and chrome accessories. Another thing I loved was the fact that wires for appliances were connected straight into the wall, without the need for plugs, then you had a switch, like the ones you have with cookers, to turn it on! Excellent and neat! But not ideal in this instance! The Relevant Bit! My washer had come with a BS 136a 13 Amp fused plug. Unfortunately it is a safety plug and to wire it up would mean removing it!! A reliable service from Servis

Advantages: Compact, modern-looking and simple
Disadvantages: No extras, can be a little noisy

I also wanted one with a stainless steel effect (as real stainless steel is very expensive!), so we jumped in the car and headed down to our local Currys outlet. We found what we were looking for almost immediately. Among the mass of fridge-freezers was a small, narrow, stylish stainless steel-effect fridge-freezer, which fitted our criteria perfectly. Would You Like A Good Servis

...Saturday for dinner while mum was working. There was very little workspace and the twin tub was in the corner near the sink. The room was occupied with a television, chairs and a fridge. It was a cross between a kitchen and a living room and they spent all day in there watching TV and having lunch. The design of the room and the way it was used means that it is difficult to have a fully modern kitchen with lots of workspace and cupboards. The fire is now a baxi Bermuda and this encompasses a back boiler. Unless we have the whole thing taken out and a combi boiler fitted we are stuck with the limited space we have. One of the saviours is the pantry, it gives loads of space and although not modern I wouldn?t swap it for the world. Servis M6011 WASHING MACHINE. 1100rpm

Advantages: owners handbook is pretty handy-clear and easy to follow(buttons light up green)
Disadvantages: find it hard to get the right size load(noisy if incorrect)

...just had to on this occasion. I went online to a well known online catologue store and was 99% expecting to be turned down flatly for credit as in the not too distant past I had been refused .....,something to do with the credit score or something.......???? Anyway -Browsed the store......saw a machine...Servis M6011 .....I was just looking for something affordable ,something that looked ok had a standard specification-nothing to technical just something that washes your clothes-I mean, mood I was in ,anything would do!!! But no there were a few that made it to my final list and finally I narrowed it down to one -the M6011. It came in at £219.00 if interest free,I chose that option worked out about £4/£5 a week for a year. I thought that this was one or to steps up from the very lowest budget machines it looked a little nicer...

...My model is the m3101a I bought my Servis m3101a about 6 months or so ago and it?s great. It cost me £199 from Littlewoods catalogue and well worth it. I was going to go for one of the larger washer manufacturers washing machine but decided to save some money and go with the cheapest as my washing machines all break down after a couple of years any way (cheap or not) It was easy to install pipes were all colour coded and it was all well explained in the user manual. If in any doubt consult a plumber though When you first install it the door is extremely sticky It took me an age to open it to get my first load done! Persevere it does open eventually. ENERGY RATING I believe the rating for it was energy a and its definatly lived up to that. It?s wonderfully cheap to run which is ideal if you do more than one wash a day...
