Great golf clubs at a great price!

Advantages: decent clubs, very cheap
Disadvantages: the lowest iron is a 5 iron

...I have recently taken up the sport of golf, but whenever I have played be it at the driving range of the local 9 hole course I have always borrowed a friends clubs. The more I have played the more I have enjoyed the game so recently decided to purchase my first set of golf clubs. I was always given the impression that clubs were expensive, but when trawling through numerous internet sports equipment sites soon realised this was a bit of a myth. I had pinpointed 3 sets of clubs that I was considering purchasing all of which were between £55 and £100 - very cheap I thought. I finally decided on the Chicago SGS golf clubs which cost me £57.99 from www.thesportshq.com. Advantages: Very detailed, provides accurate knowledge and tips
Disadvantages: Lengthy video with alot of points to understand

...Well, the Leadbetter Box Set is comprised of three DVD's, it guides you through each aspect of the golf swing, explaining the swing plain in very good length. The main focus of this DVD is promote a better understanding of the good and bad points of the average golfers' swing. It then starts to build a solid foundation on a professionals golf swing introducing new swing drills for the golf course, such as the L to L drill. Overall, as an avid golfer myself of reasonable handicap I found this to be very helpful as a introduction to the aspects of golf. David Leadbetter is famous for his teaching skill and really shows how golf should be played. I found this very intresting and both very helpful in the process to building a good golf swing and playing better golf. A must buy for me....

Beautiful, picteresque grounds, set on a golf course

Disadvantages: costly for overnight rooms

...I had played Tiger Wood golf on the xbox and PS2 and loved it therefore I was a little bit worried that this game would be too childish and aimed at younger people just getting into computer games, however I loved it. A cheap way to improve you're golf swing

Advantages: very cheap, they work, you can practice in the garden
Disadvantages: you may prefer real golf balls

...I have recently got back into golf again and played a few 9 hole rounds with friends, but I was very rusty as it has been a while! The main problem, as most players find when they play infrequently was my swing. One minute I'd completely slice the ball and the next hit a reasonable shot. The tee shots were the most annoying because they setup how the hole is going to pan out for you and most of the time I was leaving myself a lot to do. After playing a quite dissapointing round we had a look in the club shop to see what they had on offer. I noticed these airflow practice balls and they seemed like a fab training aid and something which should really help my swing. They are exactly the same size and dimension as a normal golf ball, but are of plastic construction and have airholes all over them, producing maximum drag from the moment...

Everybodys Golf - for err Everybody!!

Advantages: Great gameplay, great graphics, great single and online play

Review of Everybodys Golf World Tour (PS3)

I have resorted to five stars for Lough Erne Golf Resort

Advantages: Excellent food, accommodation and service
Disadvantages: None

...Fermanagh is famous for the beautiful lakes and stunning scenery, so the setting of the Resort is absolutely gorgeous; it nestles between Lower Lough Erne and Castle Hume Lough and even has its own jetty. Lots of general information on the Resort and the location can be found on its web page www.loughernegolfresort.com The setting is idyllic and when we stayed at the Resort there had been snow so the views were really breathtaking. The Resort has 2 golf courses the newest of which is a championship course designed by Nick Faldo and is due to be opened in July 2009. I will try to give you a flavour of the Resort and how I found it during my stay. Bear in mind that I only stayed overnight so have not sampled all the delights of the Resort and Spa.
