On the Square

Advantages: Good location, good standard, clean and pleasant

...The Square is a mid priced hotel situated in the heart of Copenhagen, on Radhuspladsen and overlooking Tivoli Gardens. A short walk from the Central Station it is very handy for transfers from the airport and provides an excellent base for touring the city. Part of the ARP-Hansen Hotel Group it is one of several hotels in Copenhagen and like their other properties offers a good standard of accommodation geared towards the modern business or tourist traveller. Location ~ Despite the claims that the hotel overlooks Tivoli gardens this is somewhat misleading. Granted, from the top (6th) floor you can see the giant Tivoli sign but that's about it. Review of The Square, Copenhagen

Experience Shopping at Eldon Square!

Advantages: Good Shops
Disadvantages: Mainly highstreet stores

...When I was younger I used to go to Eldon Square in the school holidays with my grandma and we would meet my sister and my nephews in Newcastle and go shopping. Therefore, for me Eldon Square has some happy memories as well as some great shops :) Eldon Square is an indoor shopping centre located in the heart of Newcastle and as I am now studying in Newcastle I have been here quite often recently. Eldon Square first opened in 1976 and serves a catchment area of 2.7 million people. There are a number of entrances but I usually enter at the one on Northumberland Street. This leads straight to the shops. It is lovely walking into Eldon Square on a cold day, as it is really warm (so especially good at this time of year!) Review of Eldon Square (Newcastle)

Blue Square Hotel- Apparently near, yet so far.

Advantages: Lovely bedrooms, large shower, bar staff friendly, luggage room to leave bags.
Disadvantages: Too far from city centre, transport costs to hotel very dear, area undesirable.

The Blue Square Hotel is over 15 minutes away from the town centre by tram and certainly cannot be done on foot. The trams are quite expensive as prices have gone up and a taxi will set you back £40. The hotel exterior looks like a disused swimming baths but the interior is lovely. The room we were sent to found us barging in on another couple in bed having a lie in, and we were mortified. We returned to reception and they could not apologise enough and gave us a new room on the ground floor. I was initially wary as I thought it would be noisy outside at night and this would disturb us. Unfortunately I was not wrong, and each night a fairground up the street played...

Advantages: Dreamy album, very calming and warming
Disadvantages: Some can be a littl 'samey'

...and wanted to hear more, so I went out and bought both that album and Square 1. The lyrics are simple, but catchy and it could be said that some of the songs could be similar to Van Morrison, Rufus Wainwright, Nick Drake or David Gray I won?t go into all of the songs, as I would just end up repeating myself and running out of things to say, however I will write about some of the ones that stand out for me. 1. I?m in love with a girl/the funniest girl in the world (1.00) This song is only one-minute long but provides and introduction and sets the scene of what is to come in the rest of the album; simple love songs. Choco squares, for me and the kids!

Advantages: Is even better with milk.
Disadvantages: Not the healthiest cereal out there.

...As any one who is familiar with my reviews will know, my children love cereals, the sweeter the better! So when faced with the product I will now review, they just had to try it! The product I will now review is "Asda choc squares". The packaging is bright and vibrant, the box is purple in colour with a large oval patch of yellow in the centre. On top of the yellow is the brand and product name in the same purple as the rest of the box, very effective! For some strange reason there is a picture of a "mad dog" peering over the lettering?! Around the lettering there are pieces of the cereal flying about, some of which are broken in two so as to show of the chocolate centre. Advantages: a memorial to brave soldiers who died during the world war 2

Thumbs up for Square Hotel, Brighton

Advantages: Fantastic sea views from King Room, chic room, friendly staff
Disadvantages: Blinds let in light, few mod cons

...I went to this hotel for a romantic getaway in February and it was exactly that, incredible romantic. We love our boutique hotels and Brighton has a great selection. The Square is definitely up amongst the best in my experience. It has 9 contemporary rooms and a sophisticated bar. You can even get a range of treatments such as massages in your room for ultimate luxury. The hotel is well located in a Regency garden square on New Steine which is just a hop, skip and a jump away from the sea in Kemp Town. We arrived by car and as we are regulars to Brighton knew that the best place to park is at the Marina, where it?s free for the length of your stay and then catch a bus back to Kemp Town. However, the staff at the Square were great in reminding us that this is a good idea. The bus stop is on the main road and only a 2min walk...

Advantages: Lovely clock as its centrepice
Disadvantages: Only a small number of shops

...Looking at Orchard Square today its hard to imagine that this was once Sheffield's flagship shopping centre. That's not to say that there is anything wrong with this place its just that more than two decades on it now looks pretty much like hundreds of other generic indoor shopping centres and if one arrived blindfold it would be difficult to determine immediately in which city, in which part of the world one was. That is unless you just happened to be stood in the open air courtyard under its clock tower. So having described Orchard Square as nondescript I now retract this statement a little by adding that it has the most amazing clock tower as it focal point.
