Samsung SGH U600

Advantages: It is an all in one 'phone, looks very good, is simple to use

...I bought this mobile on the basis that it was shiny and new primarily (yes I know I am shallow) but I have since been very impressed with the features, ease of use and quality. I normally use a mobile to only telephone people with and the Samsung SGH U600 does that with ease. Reception coverage has been flawless everywhere from Southend up to Derby. However I have found myself using the other features more and more. I like the simple way it handles text messaging ( I don't bother with grammer/punctuation but do spell words correctly). I work away from home a lot and have found that the radio function is really useful with excellent reception everywhere I have found myself. It saves having to take another gadget with me as well. Samsung SGH-i600 - Looks like a Blackberry

...The Samsung SGH-i600, known as the Blackjack / i607 in the U.S, is a smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard (has keys like on a computer keyboard). Samsung SGH G600 is Fab

Advantages: Sleek ,easy to use, good and obviosly the great 5 Mega pixel camera
Disadvantages: No 3G

...thrown it several times and dropped it in the toilet once, and after drying it out , it still works fine no problems at all, really robust phone . It comes with 1GB microSD card, head phones and wireless ear piece in the box. Samsung may a wise choice in getting rid of the touch sensitive buttons of the U600 and replaced with some easy to use buttons. I would defiantly buy another Samsung and recommend it as a great phone....

...I got this phone about 11 months ago on an upgrade with T Mobile. I had no idea what phone I wanted but when I explained the functions that I needed, the Samsung U600 was suggested to me. It is a nice looking phone, grey, small and thin, you can carry it in your pocket without it being too bulky. It is a slide phone with a large screen. The number buttons are under the screen and are displayed when you slide the phone down. The menu and call and hang up buttons are touch screen. To describe some of the features that the phone has- Camera- It has a 3.2 mega pixel camera which is very good quaility, however it annoys me how it takes a while for the camera to capture the picture before it actually takes it. ...The Samsung U600 is the slimmest slide phone, even slimmer than the trendy D900 which is now replaced by u600. I bought mine for 85 pounds which is a dark blue colour. It has an amazing 3.2 mega pixel camera if you look how thin the phone is, with flash and 4x digital zoom. If you take a picture of a business card it recognizes all the field and enter them automatically, this is a new feature. It also records videos in mp4 format and the maximum video size is 352 x 240 which is good. It has a 2.2 inch TFT 262k colour screen which has great graphics because I downloaded 'Horton hears a who', converted it into MP4 format and saved it on my phone to see if it works and it worked. Sad-sung U600!

...What a disappointment! Having had a Samsung for over 4 years, (most recent being the D600) I was really looking forward to getting the Samsung U600. I wanted a phone that gave high quality photos (as did the D600), but without the bulkiness. The 3.2 megapixel U600 seemed to have it all! Sadly it's not true! Here is a selection of the spec it has (I'll list the major stuff that most of us care about!) -3.2 Megapixel Camera (with autofocus) -Slimmest Slider on the market (103.5x49.3x10.9 mm!) -eighs only 93g (believe me it's nothing compared to the D600!) -Massive 2.2" TFT display!
