...Over the next few weeks I am going review some of my sons favourite books, my mum bought my son this book from a book club in school where she works she paid £8.99 but you can buy it on Amazon for £5.99 with free delivery. The Little Fish who cried SHARK! This is a hardback book with pop up pages, on the front of the cover is a picture of a orange and yellow fish who is called Sprat. You can also see lots of small fish with coral. Sprat is a naughty little fish and likes to play tricks on the other sea animals by shouting "Boo!" to scare them. One day Sprat decides to play a joke on the other creatures by shouting "SHARK!" he creeps up on crab and gives a big yell, poor crab quickly hides in his shell and of course there is no shark. Besides crab we get to meet clam, octopus, eels, and lots of fish in the story...

...There are some movies that seem like mythology; to some degree you must resign yourself to never seeing them, because in order to do so would mean a quest or at least the breaking of several laws. The Last Shark or L' Ultimo Squalo to use its correct title is very much one of those movies, you'll probably never get to see it, and after a five year quest I finally got to see it, but it was a tough search. Why is The Last Shark so difficult to see? Because if followed on the tail of and was pretty much a rip off of another shark movie known as Jaws. Review of Body Attack Fitness Class

Unsinkable Attack

Advantages: Clever plot, twists and turns
Disadvantages: Not as funny as previous work

...which are being carried out in order to set up a seat for Psychic research at the local university. He is stumped when Lafayette seems to be passing all of the tests and can't seem to work out what scam he is running..... This is a fairly clever story and looks at the scams that psychics employ to trick people into parting with their money. There are also some attacks on popular press and politicians which is generally to be expected from Brookmyre. Although the book was enjoyable enough, it just wasn't as funny as his other work (in my opinion). The black humour is still present but it just didn't grab me as his books normally do. "A Big Boy Did It and Ran Away" had me laughing aloud on the train and although this was funny it just wasn't the same type of humour. I still enjoyed reading this book but for me it wasn't his best and I'm glad...
