...I opted for this TV instead of the latest Samsung due to previously having a Sharp and the excellent value of it. Not disappointed at all! The specs were almost the same and the Sharp television is over £100 cheaper. Well worth it, picture quality is fantastic and is very easy to set up. The great thing about the set is the amount of inputs there are on the back of it. 3x HDMI, component, scart etc plenty of inputs for everything you will have. The only niggle i is that the built in Freeview is quite slow to respond to commands and doesn't have a page up/down option on the EPG. Nor does it have a small preview screen small price to pay i guess!...

So it's ideal then that the New Music Express has introduced their own TV station - NME TV... Operated by CSC Media Group, it replaced the music channel 'Minx' in November 2007 - which is odd as I believe Minx was more a pop music channel that indie. Sharpe's Beginnings

Advantages: An excellent story, good characterisation, enjoyable book

Despite it being a more recent addition to the series, Sharpe's Tiger takes the reader back to his first real battle. The first thing that became apparent as I started to read this was Cornwell's attention to detail. He likes to give the reader a feel of what is really going on and I felt this added a hint of realism to his writing. The book is based on real events and he sums up the events during his 7 pages of historical notes at the end. All this seemed to add a real sense of anticipation to the story and had me hooked, unable to put the book down for the sake of another chapter. ...I was one of thos kids who grew up using nokias, so when I upgraded to a sharp gx10i a couple of years ago I was at first, understandably, I feel, a bit wary. I bought this little baby while in the US about a year ago and it has accompanied me since then on all the trips I've taken. ...Sharpe's Fury is the latest in the long running series by Bernard Cornwell detailing the heroics and exploits of Richard Sharpe, a common soldier during the Penninsular War whose skill in battle leads to promotion and a different set of problems battling against the class system of the British military. The novel was released last summer (august '06) and is the 21st book in the series (I think this makes Sharpe one of the longest running characters in terms of number of adventures).
