...appears in the picture above. It has a screwtop lid and on the lid is a sticker which you can see on the picture above, so I won't bore you with a description. The sticker states that it is "Shea Body Butter with Community Trade Shea Butter to moisturise very dry skin." Overall I would give this product 3/5 because although it moisturises well, so do many other products available, for example Palmers Cocoa Butter. I think it is quite expensive and whilst I would like to buy it regularly to support fair trade I am a student so cannot afford to. Finally the fact there is no real smell to this product puts me off buying it. I would recommend it to a friend, provided they weren't bothered about price/smell....

My 'Magic Moisturising' Shea Butter Liquid Soap.

Advantages: Excellent, luxurious hand soap.
Disadvantages: Price!!!

...HOW I DISCOVERED L'OCCITANE SHEA BUTTER LIQUID SOAP. I was first introduced to L'Occitane Shea Butter Liquid Soap a few years ago. I used to be a hairdresser and one day a few years back my boss purchased and brought into our Salon this lovely bottle of L'Occitane Shea Butter Liquid Soap for the staff and customers to use in the washrooms. Shea Body Butter? No Ta!

Advantages: Very ethnical product, pretty nice smell!
Disadvantages: Over price and over hyped.

Fairtrade Organic Raw Shea Butter from Ghana

Advantages: A liitle goes a long way made own beauty products at home good money saving idea!!
Disadvantages: Nutty small can be a put off as the Akoma Shea Butter is not refined.

...The Fairtarde Organic Shea Butter if a wonderful all round moisturiser, that is easy on the purse especially in this economic climate. I use the Shea Butter from top to toe. It is easily absorbed into the body and is wonderful for keeping my eczema under control. It is mild enough to use on the children. I have added lavender oil to my Shea Butter which gives it a wonderful smell. I have stopped using convensional creams due to the perfum, chemicals and not geting value for money. In addition highly recommend the Raw Shea Butter as it is unrefined therefore all the goodness is still in the butter to nourish the skin. Shea Butter was great and took away the dryness

L'Occitane's Shea Butter hand cream does the job

Advantages: Soothes sore, dry skin on hands very well, and smells nice
Disadvantages: Very expensive, can be a little heavy for some people

...This is a particularly rich hand cream that i'd recomend to anyone who suffers from dry skin. It is a little heavy, and doesn't soak into the skin straightaway, but for those with very dry skin conditions, this isn't a problem, and i've found that it soothes tight, sore skin extremely well. It's rich enought to use elsewhere on the body; particularly the knees, heels and elbows. It smells nice, not too perfumed, and the packaging is reminiscent of days gone by. The tube itself is quite maleable, making it relatively easy to get the last few squirts of the cream out. The Shea butter content is around 20%, and also boasts fruit, leaf and honey extracts. ...I have been using L`occitane products for a while now, basically they are beauty products, they sell foot cream, shaving cream, bubble bath, soap and much much more, there stuff is really good. the one bad point though is that they are really expensive, (I get a discount as my sister in law is a mangeress in one off their stores.) Shea body butter, still my favourite.

Advantages: leaves skin soft but not greasy.
Disadvantages: is expensive.

...Out of all the body butters and in fact all the products in the body shop range, the shea body butter is my all time favourite. This product glides on smoothly and leaves a subtle, sweet, nutty fragrance on your skin. This product leaves skin very smooth without leaving it greasy. I advise that you use this after a bath or shower. Pat your skin dry then apply all over. When the skin is still slightly damp and warm the product locks in this moisture into your skin after application. This can be used on your whole body but it is advised not to be used on your face as the skin here is thinner than the rest of your body and therefore requires a lighter moisturiser. L'Occitane Shea Butter Body Lotion has beautiful results but....

Advantages: Intensly smoothing and hydrating
Disadvantages: oily and thick takes some time to sink in

...I received this as a gift set with the matching soap and shower gel, all three products are beautiful, containing 15th Shea Butter, honey and apricot oil, the smell is very subtle, clean and 'treatmenty' almost like Savlon. I would recommend this body lotion for more of a home spa treatment rather than a daily body lotion, its better suited to applying after an evening bath before going to bed to wake up feeling like you've just had a weekend at a top spa. The lotion is very thick, it takes a while to sink in and leaves a sticky, oily film even hours later, normally this would completly put me off but the end result is well worth it hence why i apply before bed so that i can go to sleep and ignore the sticky feeling, your skin is left unbeleivably smooth, supple and even toned, it even makes a considerable difference to the appearance...
