Sharing my experience of the Sheraton Roma

Advantages: Comfortable hotel - handy for the metro
Disadvantages: Characterless - can be expensive

...This year, we mostly went to Italy. We had booked a hotel a little to the south of Rome for a few nights as we wanted to visit places outwith the city but changed our plans for the Saturday night and tried to book a hotel in Rome itself. Not an easy task (at least not on my budget). Oh sure, you can stay in a pit close to Termini station, but not being suicidal, or wishing to part company with my belongings, and always leaving myself the option of swinging a cat should the chance arise, I'm afraid that's not for me. Long story short...after several near things (literally) we ended up booking the Sheraton. The Sheraton isn't in central Rome, it's in the EUR district. This presented no significant problem however. Super Stay at Sea Shore Sheraton

Advantages: Good location, Friendly staff, Great room, Ocean view was wonderful
Disadvantages: Expensive!

...a central, convenient location - that said, we still had a budget that we needed to stick to if we wanted to be able to afford such trifles as food when we got there. Our choice, after a good deal of consideration, was the Sheraton Waikiki. Why? Well, the information we had showed it to be a "superior 4 star" hotel (which ticked the "good enough for honeymoon" box) positioned in the heart of Waikiki between the main avenue and the ocean (putting it in an excellent location), and it was within our budget (so we could still afford to eat). My kitchen units

Advantages: looks good , feels strong
Disadvantages: price

...not strong enough falling to pieces in the old kitchen units we have). We then went to a few proper furnishing shops Lucas and the likes yes they were very nice, a lot more expensive. I have previously bought things from john Lewis and feel although maybe not the best you can buy that their goods are good well made and a fair price. We looked at all their kitchen units and decided the Sheraton range was good and about our price budget. We had chats with their kitchen planner/salesperson in the shop. We could have had a home visit but chose not too. We eventually decided to buy units from Thomas Sheraton.. Thomas Sheraton has been making furniture since 17 91. Review of Sheraton Kitchen Furniture

Relax at the Sheraton in the Midst of the Disney Madness

Advantages: Huge apartments, great pool and perfect location.
Disadvantages: Not cheap!

...We have been lucky enough to visit Orlando several times and by far and away the best place we have found to stay is Sheraton Vistana Villages. Location This hotel is situated on the Southern end of International Drive. It is a set south of the attractions and restaurants which make International drive very busy so it is much quieter than many hotels. I-drive is easily accesible in about 5-8 minutes by car, there is also a stop for the I-drive trolley bus outside the hotel. Seaworld is about 5 minutes dive away, Universal studios area is about 20 minutes north and Disneyland entrance is less than 10 minutes south. The roads are easy and there are no tolls. There is a Publix supermarket about 3 mins drive away. The journey from the International airport takes about 25 minutes and the property is easy to find. Rooms...

Gorgeous dolls house furniture!

Advantages: Well made, safe, robust
Disadvantages: None that I can see

...My niece has a beautiful dolls house called the Marlborough Dolls House which is a John Crane Pintoy product ? in fact I wrote a review about it some time ago. There are various sets of furniture available to fit in this, or indeed any other, dolls house including bathroom, living room, kitchen, nursery and bedroom furniture. Earlier this year she received the set of living room furniture which she loves playing with and it is so cute I just had to tell you about it! Since I had no idea how much it cost I have just searched via Google and found the set ranging from £14.99 at Mail Order Express, to £13.95 at Amazon, down to just £12 at www.kidsrooms.co.uk where they also stock furniture for all the other rooms too! DFS Furniture

Advantages: Good quality, nice looking sofas
Disadvantages: Take forever to arrive, go somewhere smaller and you can take your suite away

..., which isn't guaranteed! The seat backs and arm cushions are attached to the sofa with zips, and one seat-back zip has broken just from our sitting against it! Perhaps not worth the money after all. I now think you're better off going into a less well known, smaller furniture retailer and buying a suite for about £500. It probably won't be ruined much before a DFS suite and it's not so gutting to have to replace!...

White, Sherbourne furniture - not wardrobes

Advantages: Made to fit
Disadvantages: No measurements on initial plan, designer didn't give full options of various height/depth/widths.

Lots of flexibility regarding height, width and depth but designer tends to draw what THEY like, where THEY want it, so be ASSERTIVE and ask loads of questions about alternatives/options/measurements/positioning. Initially, we nearly ended up with low level bedside cabinets, hadn't initially been told we could have more suitable mid level - all because designer drew what SHE likes!! Also had to absolutely INSIST she move kneehole dresser to where I wanted it as opposed to where she wanted to put to be "symetrical" - who cares, it's MY bedroom. She chose 500mm deep dresser top, same as existing for "more floor space" (as fitted butting right up to wall as opposed to Schreiber self assembly which had 5" gap behind it - because of previous rad position, which would be moved for Sharps furniture, thus closing that gap...

Very Nice Kitchen

Advantages: Good Quality, nicely finished and all parts arrived together.
Disadvantages: none

...We have just had our kitchen fitted by Thomas Kitchens, an independent fitter in Nuneaton who supplies Sheraton kitchen units in their design. We had a normal, bog-standard unit put in by our original housebuilders seven years ago which was tatty to say the least. At this point I did not realise the vast difference in the quality of kitchen units, and it was only through a lot of research that you can really understand the choices available. Our old kitchen was 15mm units with no backs and poorly fitted. The Sheraton units are 18mm thick and fully backed and come ready constructed from the factory with a wide range of accesories available too. The accessories cover every conceivable option including handles, baskets, carousels, draw liners and even a steel tray to go under the sink and protect the bottom of the cupboard from...

Review of Sheraton Kitchen Furniture

Love the Sheraton Centre!

Advantages: Location, Room, Staff, Price!
Disadvantages: Car Parking

...My partner and I have been to Toronto twice now, both within the last 24 months. Both times, we have booked up through Canadian Affair and got the fantastic price of £28 a night per person! (Must book flights with them to do this, but apparantly there's another website - priceline where you can book the rooms w/o the flights for reasonable prices.) Obviously, we loved the Sheraton the first time round otherwise we would not have returned! The rooms are spacious and have the comfiest beds known to mankind :-) The room service was thorough and efficient daily. Staff at reception were polite and efficent, and the staff at the Toronto Tours desk were fantastic. We organised numerous outings with them the first time and, although we weren't going on any tours this time round, we asked them for advice on resaurants etc. which they gladly...

Good days with Karachi sheraton Hotel

Advantages: Good facilities with execellent services
Disadvantages: A bit expensive comparing to other hotels in Karachi and No clubbing and Pud :(
