The Sherwood RD6103 - A Real Bargain!

Advantages: Loud, Great Sound Quality, Lots Of Control, Cheap!
Disadvantages: Large physical size, Poor Remote Control

...I was looking for a cheap, good quality Home Cinema amp that would be used mainly for music and DVDs. After looking through pages of Sony and JVC models, I stumbled across the Sherwood RD6103. At first, I must say I wasn't particularly impressed. With only 65 watts of power per channel and no 6.1 or 7.1 support, I was sceptical to say the least. Anyway, as I was on a strict budget and the RD6103 did seem a good buy, I went to a local Hi-Fi dealer to try one out. I was not expecting what I saw! In the flesh, the unit looked clean and professional, with nice touches such as rounded edges and handy connectors for Audio/Video inputs on the front of the unit. Disadvantages: the vocal main the no scream

...and enjoyable. Sherwood seem to have a mastery of clean, smooth vocal harmonies and voices that sound great together, and their live act is suprisingly consistent, even on the often high, non-stop vocals....

An A/V receiver with the WOW factor

Advantages: Looks great, sounds awesome, feels awesome
Disadvantages: Detailed set up can be tricky - just as well it comes idiot proof!

Centre Parcs: SHERWOOD FOREST: An Honest Review

Advantages: Location; Wildlife; Accomodation; Range of activities; Shops

...I have been to Centre Parcs (SHERWOOD) a few times, and thought I'd share my experiences with this review. The last time I visited Centre Parcs was with my partner in February of this year - the only time I have ever been during the Winter months, but as it is both of our birthday's around January/February time, my partner took me as a birthday treat, and I have to say it was probably the best birthday present ever. We stayed in an 'Executive Lodge', which was a two-storey house, and were there from Friday morning - Monday afternoon. My 400th Review - And It's About A Pub!

Advantages: Good Atmosphere, Good Entertainment, Good Food

My best friend had been with her husband and had recommended it to me but I hadn't mentioned it to my Mum so the voucher was a complete surprise. We had originally planned to use the voucher after the school holidays as we thought it would be less busy. Much More Than Just The Major Oak!

This is an area characterised by its patchwork of Woodland interspersed with ancient heath lands, which are scattered with settlements and farms, many of these have survived the ages and even today remain largely unchanged. Feel the speed in rubber

.... After trying out a few different types from friends in the pool I opted for the latest set of fins made by Sherwood called the Kinesis Ex Fins. I had read a positive write up about them already and I fund them to be the most suitable for my style of diving and although at the top end of my price range they were too good in the water to pass up. According to the marketing blurb the fins incorporate Optimal Pivot Blade (OPB) technology. What this means is that on the downward stroke of the kick the blade flexes around its mid point making it more efficient throughout the entire kick cycle. Well that is the theory and naturally with increased efficiency comes less tiredness and greater speed.
