...Intro** I bought this bronzer from The Body Shop in Stafford a few months back. I really went in to get some lip balm, but came out with this because I thought it looked really nice and to be honest I was a little tempted by Staff. So, this product is shimmer waves and it is used to make your face look that little bit bronzed and refreshed. The shade of this is obviously bronze and it has 5 different tones which create a great effect on your face. It is quite expensive because it is £15.00 for this alone but I can say it is excellent quality and it has lasted me until now and I still cannot see that it has gone down since I brought it. To apply, which I do every day, I use a bronzing brush, sweep it over the powder and then I blow it and apply it in a circular motion over my cheek bone. Shimmering Shine!

Advantages: long lasting, no creasing, comfortable to wear, easy to apply, great effect

...I am very fond of the Bourjois brand as I have always found it to be of good quality and their products tend to give a more dramatic effect. During one of my failed attempts at Christmas shopping I found myself browsing the Bourjois stand in Boots. I decided to treat myself to a couple of their new products. One of these was the Shimmering Shine Liquid Eye shadow. There were eight different shades to choose from, all of which were metallic looking to give the shimmering shine effect. I chose the "Rose Acier" colour, which is a very pale pink/lilac colour which has a metallic shimmer to it. The pot looks similar to a small nail varnish bottle and I couldn't help but think it looked cute!! My little 8.5ml pot set me back £6.99 although as I brought it alongside another Bourjois product I did get a free gift of some lip colour thing...

...Revlon Shimmer Body Lotion Another of my Revlon products given to me to try out, and always being willing to try things at least once, I gave it a whirl! ~~Product and Packaging~~ The product comes in a plastic 8 fl. oz bottle with a red press down dispenser to get the stuff out. The name of the product is written quite simply in red and instructions etc are on the back of the bottle. When I look at the bottle, I assume that it's clear and that the body lotion must be white because it certainly looks white. So, I press down the pump and am gratified to discover that I am right- it is a white cream. The cream itself is quite thick (certainly not runny) and is easily rubbed into and absorbed by the skin. I usually use a shimmery body lotion I received in a Christmas gift set from Next, when I go out, and although it gives a lovely shimmer to the skin, I am not so keen on it's scent. Advantages: Light to carry, smooth texture
Disadvantages: hard to apply, very shimmery

...At first i was quite reluctant to buy the product because shimmers seem to make you look overly and obviously tanned yet this product (when used in moderation) the packaging is easily accesable and light easy for purses and when applied looked quite natural although it did shimmer a bit much especially when you catch the light. I found it quite hard to apply this as as it wouldnt catch onto the brush i had to dig into the product using a lot as i did and after i pressed really hard there was then too much. Overall i would avoid this product if you have paler skin because this will cover the natural blush in the cheeks and make you look overly tanned and looking for a subtle matte look and at £4.38 it is very affordable and i believe you do get your moneys worth....
