Brilliant portable DVD player

Advantages: Looks great, plays great, lots of accessories, multiregion

Shinco 868 DVD Player with built in Megadrive

Advantages: The total package with the all-region DVD player, mp3 player and best of all Megadrive CD system.
Disadvantages: 2 joypads that come with the machine are a bit clunky compared to original Megadrive joypads.

Although, I see that a lot of people have already seen it as the UK premier on Channel 4 attracted 1 million viewers!! The Notebook is a beautiful romance that still makes me cry after numerous viewings. It is poignant, romantic, sad, hopeful and uplifting all rolled into one. The Notebook was actually developed from a book written by the American author Nicholas Sparks in 1996. It spent over a year as a hardcover best seller. The film version was released in 2004. It follows the story of Noah and Allie, childhood sweethearts who eventually find each other again after years apart. The story is very cleverly told as a flashback. Leatherheads DVD

Advantages: Funny, George Clooney
Disadvantages: None

...almost filmed like that too, quite fast paced and uses a lot of old time props such as steam trains and really adds a good element to the film. The costumes are great as well and it really makes you lust after the wardrobe of Renee Zellweger. George Clooney plays his part extremely well too and although he is looking a bit older he still pulls off the rugged, football player look. John Kraskinsi is not as an established actor as the other too but does not seem out of his depth at all and really holds his own against the other two stars. There are not too many bonus features in this DVD, just some deleted scenes which are quite funny in places.
