Focus, do they really Do It All??

Advantages: Some products are of better quality than rivals

...Now, i'm not saying don't shop at Focus, but they are extremely EXPENSIVE. If you compare them to B&Q (who are also not cheap) their prices are sky high. I often buy sheet materials and timber. When I went to buy them from Focus, they are about £2 more than B&Q. This may not sound alot, but when you need about 10 sheets, thats alot of money. The other problem with focus is the lack of powertool accessories. Go into B&Q and they have racks upon racks of drill and router bits. Go into focus, and they have a 1meter square rack. That is not selection! The trouble with Focus is that they have turned from a DIY store into a sort of 'everything' shop. Although they have ceased selling epts, they sell furniture like beds, dining tables, chairs and computer desks. In order to improve in my mind, Focus neads to 'focus' on 'DIY and Gardening...

...Advantages: Loads of stuff available, good prices Disadvantages: can get busy at christmas time so much so people abandon their shopping I am a huge Asda fan, it's where I do most of my shopping and I know where everything is which makes it easier when dragging 3 kiddies along with you! In my local Asda we have a photo centre, cafe, George, electricals, homewear, toys, bakery, pizzaria, rottisary (chicken place lol), fresh meats counter and all the usual foody aisles plus we have a petrol station, cash machines and bus stop. It's the largest shopping store we have although we do have a Tesco, Lidl, Aldi, Co-Op, Farm Foods and Iceland. I have never had a bad experience with Asda and the stock is usually replenished quite quickly! They have such a huge range that I know I can do my weekly shop and more there. Everything...

Argos - is it really Brighter Shopping

Advantages: LOADS of stores up and down the country
Disadvantages: the Wedding service isnt all its cracked up to be

ITS THE BEST SHOPPING STORE.

...I LIKE SHOPPING AT TESCO. It must be the Red, White and Blue that attracts me to Tesco but I have been shopping in it now since it first opened over ten years ago. I find that its laid out much better than the other stores and it has really competitive prices. The only thing with the price element is some of the cheaper products like their own brand of baked beans or peas taste really foul and prove that old adage that you get what you pay for. But other of their brands are really good so its all down to trial and error. Not only do they sell food but they also sell cds, dvds, electrical goods and have their own off-sales as well. The strange thing about the alcohol is that about three of the checkouts in Tesco dont let you purchase it at their till which I find ridiculous, I am told its their policy but why?
